She and her family were so welcoming and loving to my dog, who has mobility issues and separation anxiety. She also sent me photos and updates throughout the time she was watching my dog, which was so welcomed. I never once felt like I was concerned or worried about how things were going while in her care. When I picked up my dog, she was very obviously comfortable in her home! About: I've had one or more dogs in my life since I was 6 years old. I currently have a senior red heeler that I rescued 8 years ago. Not only have I grown up taking care of my own dogs, as an adult I dog sit quite regularly for friends. I do work from home, which affords me the opportunity to take breaks to interact with and toilet my heeler and any other dog we have visiting, on their schedules. I work from home, so Monday thru Friday, I rarely leave my home, except to take the dog for walks. I may go away in the evenings, during the week, for a couple hours, but that's rare. I do tend to be more active on the weekends, doing my grocery shopping and running other errands, as well church on Sundays, and an occasional brunch. I do have a fenced in back yard as well as a senior red heeler (as stated earlier). My heeler doesn't really pay much attention to other dogs, and seems to prefer the company of humans. That being said, he gets along great with other dogs.

About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! I’m currently looking into part time or less demanding full time jobs, and I’ll be actively looking until I land one, until then, I should be mostly free, and I’ll definitely keep my schedule updated as life moves forward and changes. As of now, I have appointments on Wednesday, I try to keep them consistent each week, but they’re subject to change due to scheduling. With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

About: I started my personal experience training an animal when I was 16 or 17 raising our family beagle puppy. I have always had a genuine love and curiosity for dogs. They each have such unique, individual personalities and they are more than just animals. They become your best friends! It amazes me to see their compassion and loyalty to their humans. In the past year, I have boarded several different dogs with my husband at our house, and I have also stayed at pet parents houses to watch their dogs as well. I have a full-time position located in Grand Haven, but I only go into the office Tuesdays and Thursdays. My day off is Monday so I definitely have flexibility on that day, and I am at home most of the day Wednesdays, Fridays, and also Saturdays in the morning/afternoon and Sundays in the evening. Depending on the location of the dog, I can make a stop for a drop in or walk on my way to or from work in Grand Haven because it is about a 45 minute drive. If the pet is within 25-30 minutes from my home, I can easily make that drive on the days I work from home. For the days that I have to leave for chunks of time, my husband can also help out if the dog is staying at home with us! I do not have much of a yard at my home, but we live right next to a very spacious park and love to take our furry friends on long walks! We prefer to crate them when we are not at home but we are usually only gone a couple hours at a time if that. We are open to them sleeping in our bed with us depending on the size of the dog 😊. When I stay in a clients home to watch their dog, I am pretty open and flexible to their needs. I have watched dogs who have very specific diets, walking schedules, and sleep schedules.

Not only dogs but I’ve also had bunnies, hedgehogs,fish,birds and livestock! I have a two year old golden retriever Marley that is my whole life and we go on walks and to the beach very often! Not only do I have experience with puppies but also senior dogs. I am very available and can help with your pet needs at any time! I am available all week long from anytime early in the morning to about 5pm My Golden Retriever loves to be outside so we are out there for a lot of our day! We go for walks everyday as well as going to the park sometimes and the beach on the weekends!
About: My name is Emily and I absolutely love all furry friends! I used to have a rescue dog which was a papillon but sadly she became sick. :( I have also rescued a cat that we owned for couple months before finding him a forever home! I miss having a dog or pet around and would love to help care for your furry family member! I am a teacher so I am fairly open during the summer and still available on the weekends during the school year and some afternoons/evenings. Our family can still board your pup on Tuesdays-Thursdays but they would just have to go longer stretches before a walk on those days. I do have two sons who are 7 and 4 so I do ask that your pet be good with kids. They both absolutely love animals. The only breeds we are not comfortable with are pit bulls, boxers and Rottweilers. I am a very active person and love taking love walks and runs outside. Our family is not in a place to own a pet permanently right now, so we love taking care of other animals! Our yard is not fenced in but we provide multiple walks a day for your pup! We have had great success with this with our other dogs.

“When we found ourselves in a pickle, we turned to Rover to find a trustworthy, dog educated person to watch our female GSD Stiorra. Not only were we searching last minute but we needed someone who was comfortable and had experience with females in heat. Ofcourse our girl would go into heat when we have nonrefundable tickets. Haha! I put our situation out to a couple different sitters on Rover. Kaylee was the first to respond and had such enthusiasm that I knew she was our person! “Jayme took exceptional care of my senior dog while we were gone for almost 2 weeks. She was easy to communicate with and we arranged a meet & greet after I initially booked, which went well. Her home and yard were perfect for my dog and she answered any questions I had. My dog has a few medications she had to take and this was not an issue at all. She and her family were so welcoming and loving to my dog, who has mobility issues and separation anxiety. She also sent me photos and updates throughout the time she was watching my dog, which was so welcomed. I never once felt like I was concerned or worried about how things were going while in her care. When I picked up my dog, she was very obviously comfortable in her home! She and her family were a true blessing to us in our time of need for a pet sitter and we’d love to have her help again in the future. Thank you!”

About: I have pet sit, walked, ran, leash trained, and mentally stimulated dogs of all breeds since a kid. Each dog needs all of these things in different ways and I am here to figure that out to insure your pup and you get the best from me. I used to be under the LLC Dogs On the Run Grand Rapids, but life (two children, moving to Holland etc) put that on hold.
