I am so very thankful for the love and care they provide Jamaica on a weekly basis. I highly recommend their services.”

We would definitely have Finley stay with Beth again in the future!”

Benji's tail wag was the sign that sealed the deal. Benji and I will be looking forward to future stays with our new Dog Whisper 😀”

“Jenn was awesome! From the meet & greet to the weekend boarding. I was so nervous as it was our first time having to board our Aussiedoodle Jax. Jenn made sure to send us pictures & videos multiple times per day. It was such an added bonus to see our puppy just having the best time! She had toys & even took him swimming! I know Jax had a great time, he was wore out & sleeping as soon as we got home. She was really understanding & listening when I brought up his food allergies. I will continue using her for boarding & recommending her to our friends with dogs that may need it.”

“I would highly recommend Brenda if you need a dog sitter! She has a very nice, big yard for the dogs to play and run in. She took great care of our pups and sent several updates while we were gone. Aracely handles everyone’s individual quirks and needs like an absolute pro, ensuring they are not only well-fed but genuinely comfortable and content for the rest of the day. Every time we get back, everything is perfect and it’s clear our crew is happy and at ease. Huge shoutout to Aracely for taking such amazing care of them—we’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Allison was a great sitter and friend for Smitty for the three weeks we were out of town. There were many visits involved over this time period and Allison did a good job communicating with us about Smitty's various walks and play-times, what kind of mood he was in, whether he drank some water after play-time, and other info. She really cares about Smitty and enjoys the work. We highly recommend Allison!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Oakland

“Frances and her family are amazing! We are from out of town and wanted a few days that we could go explore and have fun and not worry about the pup. Karl was tired when we picked him up and was wagging his tail happy to see them when we dropped him off. She was extremely flexible with drop off and pick up times and she kept us updated with photos of him and his other doggie friends. My only complaint is that she doesn't live out by us so we could use her all the time ?”

“Jacy was absolutely fantastic! Cinder had an amazing time with her. She sent frequent updates throughout the day along with lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was incredibly kind, accommodating, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. Her home and yard were the perfect place for pups to run, play, and have a great time. What really set her apart was how she went above and beyond. At the end of the day, she surprised us with a few printed photos of Cinder to take home, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. It's clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and the people who trust her with them. We could tell Cinder was happy, well cared for, and having an absolute blast. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Jacy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional Rover sitter!”

“We cannot state our appreciation for Beth further— she helped us out in a complete bind. We’re not from the area and travel with our dogs often so thought nothing of it when we had a wedding to attend in Holland but one dog decided she didn’t want to be quiet in our accommodations and we were told to figure it out or be evicted from the hotel (understandable). We put the call out to a few dog sitters over Rover and Beth responded quickly with compassion and responsiveness. We were able to drop our dogs with her after a very easy-going meeting to make sure all parties were comfortable and safe. It was easy to see Beth cared and had a great operation. We were able to attend the wedding and reception afterwards with peace of mind. We just scooped up our pups and they’re completely, happily pooped. I would recommend Beth to anyone who is looking for someone with a giant heart and generous soul to take care of their pups. Thanks again, Beth!!!”

“My dog had a great time there! Kristopher took him for a walk in their back woods and said my dog Apollo did great and is always welcome back! Would recommend 100%”

About: Hello, I’m a reliable and caring pet sitter who treats every animal as if they were my own. I have a genuine love for pets and understand how important it is for owners to feel confident that their furry family members are safe, happy, and well cared for while they’re away. I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including energetic puppies, senior pets. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, litter box and cleanup duties, and maintaining your pet’s normal schedule to reduce stress. I pride myself on being attentive, responsible, and communicative. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. Whether your pet needs lots of exercise, gentle companionship, or simply someone dependable to check in, I’m here to help. My job allows me to work remote and I homeschool my children who are also great assistants. You can rest assured your furry family member will get alot of love and attention. I work from home and homeschool my 2 teens. We have a very flexible schedule that makes us a great fit to care for and love on your fur baby. I have a large partially unfinished basement with room enough to run and play fetch. Couches to jump on or sleep on. Crates are also an option if needed.
“My YorkiePoo loves his buddy Terry and his wife, Chuckie. He attends doggy daycare weekly and is always at our garage door ready to go. He has met several playmates and is always excited when I pick him up.🐶🐾🐕🦺”

“I was visiting from out of state and only had a couple of days of notice but they were able to help. My 100lb Labrador was happier about going each day. I received regular photo and video updates of DJ socializing with other dogs and children. It appeared she had plenty to do and was definitely sleepy after. The whole family is very nice. Thank you!”

“Gave my boy a wonderful active day. Lots of walks and boy was he tired out from the day. Lots of playing and attention. Thank you so much! About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently have a rescue that is a Cur/Dalmatian mix. I fostered a German Shepherd and just found him his forever home! My previous pup was a pure bred red-nose pit! I work from home so am available for all needs! And yes, my dog does sleep on my bed! Lots of outdoor toys to tire them out! I have a fenced in yard and a “puppy pool” for those hot days! I live in a quiet neighborhood with an excellent dog walking route, even have a neighbor who put out dog treats in a mailbox for frequent walkers!
“I had a last minute trip to Grand Rapids for work and spent time looking for the perfect fit to watch my 7 mo old puppy during the day. Once I came across Anne’s profile, I’d hoped for a good experience and let me tell you, Anne and her family were absolutely amazing! They were super attentive to my pup — taking him for walks, allowing him to play with their animals, and maintaining structure for him by encouraging rest time, and correcting his behavior. Every time I came to pick him up, he was so sad to leave and he was super excited to be back at their house each time I dropped him off! I can’t sing their praises enough, it means the world to me that they helped me in a pinch and that they did an exceptional job! Any time I return to the area, Anne will be my go-to everytime!”

“Ben was great! Our “Li’l Dude” came home happy and tired from an active day! Ben generously offered to run Li’l Dude back to our campground, saving us time and a drive! We are already planning our next booking with Ben while we are vacationing in the area! Thx!”

About: What sets me apart is that caring for dogs and cats has always been a part of my life—not just a job. I’ve grown up around pets and truly see them as family members, so I understand how important it is that they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with animals. I also have hands-on experience from working at a dog kennel during high school, where I learned the importance of routine, cleanliness, and recognizing different pet personalities and needs. Whether it’s a playful puppy, a shy cat, or a senior pet who needs extra care and gentleness, I’m committed to making every pet’s time with me happy and stress-free. Pet care fits very well into my daily and weekly routine. I’ve had experience working at a doggie daycares and kennels. I mostly work in the afternoon. My schedule can be flexible but for the most part I have work from 5pm-11pm. I enjoy structuring my days around feeding times, walks, play, and companionship so pets receive consistent attention. Ideally, I’m looking to do pet care part-time, which means I can be reliable, present, and attentive when pets need me rather than rushing through visits. I care for pets by closely following the owner’s instructions and routines to ensure consistency and comfort. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets receive plenty of love, patience, and compassionate attention. I focus on meeting each pet’s individual needs—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and quiet time—while making them feel safe and cared for. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always aim to create a calm, positive environment.
About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! I’m sticking with Rover full time for a while! I’ve tried Camp Bow Wow, and found it isn’t the right work environment for me. I like providing services through Rover as I can better manage my schedule and get to know your fur babies more personally! With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!
About: Hi! I’m Eric. I work full time in child welfare, and in my free time, I care for dogs because I truly enjoy it. Pets deserve the same level of attention, trust, and consistency as people do, and that’s the standard I bring to every visit. I’ve lived with and cared for dogs most of my life. My rescue dog, Avery, was with me for 10 wonderful years. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. Whether they’re hyper, laid back, anxious, or affectionate, I know how to read their behavior and respond with calm, confident care. When I care for your pets, I focus on providing a safe, relaxed, and fun experience. Whether your dog needs structure, play, or just company, I’ll be present and tuned in. I’m not rushing through visits. I treat your home and your pets with the same care I would give my own. You’ll receive clear communication, photo updates, and peace of mind while you’re away. I’m also a photographer, so if you’d like portraits of your pet while you’re gone, feel free to ask. I’m usually available on weekends and take a limited number of clients so I can give each pet my full attention. If you’re looking for dependable, thoughtful care from someone who takes this seriously, reach out any time. I work full time so Mondays to Thursdays I’m available after 5pm. Friday-Sunday I’m much more flexible to care for your pet! Feel free to ask questions. I specialize in drop-in visits and walks for pet parents who want true peace of mind — the kind that comes from knowing their dog or cat is being cared for with attention, patience, and professionalism. Whether you’re at work, away for the weekend, or just need extra help, I make sure your pets feel safe and loved in their own home. I provide calm, respectful care and always send detailed updates so you’re never left wondering how it went. I try to care for your pets as close to you want me to. I can take notes on how you’d want me to care for your pet or you can give me printed instructions.

About: II’ve been pet sitting for my sister for the past two years, including full week stays while her family travels. During that time, I’ve cared for her two cats – feeding, grooming, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them plenty of love and playtime. Cats are easygoing, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. I also have my own dog and cat, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and energy levels. I take my dog on regular walks and love bringing her to the park. Sometimes my cat even joins the adventure! My goal is simple: keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for. I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 3–6 pm. Outside those hours I’m available for walks, play, feeding, and maintaining your pet’s schedule; I’ll update you if anything changes. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and at home whether I’m caring for them in my space or in theirs. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddle time—so they feel relaxed and stress-free. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, since every pet is different. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment and always make sure doors, gates, and supplies are secure. When I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with respect and make sure everything stays neat while giving their pets plenty of love and attention. I also like to send updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pets are happy, safe, and having fun.
About: My first job at 12 was dog walking/sitting but I have been a lifelong animal lover! I grew up with dogs and adopted my cat about 8 years ago. I have cared for both young and elderly dogs/cats as well as those with special needs and medical conditions. I am currently a stay at home mom with my five year old son. My availability is very open especially going into the summer months. Although I may not be able to do overnight stays at this time, I can do later evenings and earlier mornings. I do have a fenced in backyard that I can accommodate your pup with! I also have a dog in my home who is very friendly and would love play if you allow it. If not I will keep them separate. I can take your dog out to a local trail or walk them in your neighborhood. With cats I would be vigilant in keeping them away from open doors unless allowed. I know they love to explore small spaces and I take extra precautions to keep my girl safe! I love getting to know all the unique personalities of different cats, I love a good cuddle as well as some fun playtime. I have a special place in my heart for senior kitties.
About: I bring over 15 years of experience as a puppy trainer for Canine Companions for Independence, where I helped raise and train service dog puppies with structure, consistency, and patience. I’ve also had dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. I’m comfortable reinforcing training, working with puppies, and providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets. I understand routines, communication, and the importance of making pets feel safe and secure while their owners are away. What sets me apart is reliability, experience, and treating every pet like family — with structured care, attention to detail, and consistent updates for peace of mind. Summers are even more open, allowing me to offer consistent, reliable care with a flexible schedule. Because I’m home-based, I’m able to prioritize punctuality, routine, and communication. Pet care isn’t something I try to squeeze in — it’s something I can intentionally plan my day around to ensure your pets receive dependable, attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide exercise or playtime based on their needs, clean litter boxes or pick up waste promptly, and reinforce any household rules or training already in place. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I focus on consistency, patience, and attentiveness. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. With over 15 years of experience training puppies for Canine Companions for Independence and a lifetime of owning both dogs and cats, I’m highly observant of behavior and body language, ensuring your pet feels safe, secure, and well cared for at all times.

He made new friends in the other dogs Beth was caring for, and Beth did a great job making sure they all got along well. Beth was flexible and communicated well both before and during Finley's stay. We would definitely have Finley stay with Beth again in the future!”

“This was my first time boarding my dog with Dan and Kelly and it went very well! Henry loved the care and playtime he received and I really appreciated Dan’s communication and updates. I would book with them again. :)”

“Sasha's experience and manner with Benji has made the transition from Metro Detroit a easy endeavor. Her video and Pic updates and communication were welcome. Sasha, a real professional indeed. Benji's tail wag was the sign that sealed the deal. Benji and I will be looking forward to future stays with our new Dog Whisper 😀”

“Jayme and family took great care of our dog again. He came home happy, unanxious / relaxed, and healthy. :) We are so pleased with Jayme and can travel unconcerned knowing we’ll come home to well taken care of dog. :)”

“Franny had the BEST time. Kailee and her kids were so incredibly sweet with our puppy, and they were so welcoming and accommodating to her young puppy needs. 10/10 recommend! Franny absolutely loved their huge backyard too.”

“Jacob took excellent care of Kumi while I was away. She got plenty of exercise, friends to play with, and treats. I received regular updates accompanied with photos and video that put me at ease. She was boarded for 3 weeks and I would completely trust Jacob with her care again.”

“Thank you Kristopher, Lisa and family! Bear had a great stay there and I had a lot of peace of mind with the pictures and updates! We will certainly be back if you’ll have him again. Thank you,”

“couldn't be happier with the help Melvin and his partner gave us, we were at a bind and they came to the rescue! On top of that our Moka was treated like family and they sent pictures regularly, we will definitely ask for their help later on. 1000% recommended !”

“We were apprehensive about a long stay with a vacay out of the country. So we decided on a meet/greet overnight to be sure Alexandra’s household was a good fit for our sweet but sometimes sassy girl:) From the start, Alexandra was so warm and welcoming. And to our relief, our dog got along with hers and they’ve since had a 13 night stay together. Alexandra sent some cute pics and kept us updated. She is such a lovely person and was able to put our minds at ease. She took great care of our dog and we will definitely book with her again. Ohhh….the fenced backyard is a bonus cuz our dog LOVES to run! 😊”
