“Franny had the BEST time. Kailee and her kids were so incredibly sweet with our puppy, and they were so welcoming and accommodating to her young puppy needs. 10/10 recommend! Franny absolutely loved their huge backyard too.”

“Christina and her family took such great care of Oliver during our recent extended family vacation. Christina was an excellent communicator and was very flexible with adjusting Oliver’s care instructions when needed during his stay. We are so grateful that Oliver had a place to stay that gave him the same TLC he receives from us at home.”

“Terry and his wife have a genuine love for dogs and an understanding of their needs, and the dogs can sense it. My older dog is typically quite anxious being separated from us, but when we visited Terry’s home for a meet-and-greet, she went right out into the yard to explore without hesitation. I had confidence that my dogs were in good hands and would receive lots of love and attention while we were away, and I was not mistaken. Terry texted pictures of Riley and Ava every single day and was particular about learning their specific needs and peculiarities before we left. It is SO reassuring to know our pups have a second home that will love and appreciate them if we have to be away again in the future.”

“This was Molly's second time at Jenn's house and she loved it again. She got excited when we pulled into the driveway and it put us at ease knowing our girl was so well taken care of.”

“Christine and her crew were incredible and did a great job. Thor came home exhausted and without any bad habits (begging from the table, attempting to get on furniture, etc). Great communication before and throughout the stay. Thor loved his time with Cornelius and is looking forward to his next visit.”

“Kaylee took great care of my baby girl while I was away. She sent pictures that helped me know she was truly settled in. Chanel can’t wait for her next visit with her playmates. She is worn out today.”

“We were nervous leaving our little pup for the first time. The care provider sent us pictures during her stay. Puppy was happy an well cared for during her stay. So comforting to now we have excellent options for puppy care.”

“couldn't be happier with the help Melvin and his partner gave us, we were at a bind and they came to the rescue! On top of that our Moka was treated like family and they sent pictures regularly, we will definitely ask for their help later on. 1000% recommended !”

“Beth provides a welcoming home and we know our dog was well cared for on our trip. She was great with communication and flexible with drop off and pick up. We would not hesitate to book Beth again. Highly recommend!”

“Return customer of Pamela’s. She does a great job watching our dog and taking care of him like he was hers. Highly recommend. Our dog Oliver has always had a great time at Pamela’s.”

“I could tell our golden was going to be in great hands. I was right! Kristopher sent great daily updates and even comforted our dog through storm anxiety. I am so grateful I found him.”

“Katherine and her family were AMAZING! They kept us posted and the communication was excellent. Our dog Nala had a really good time and definitely will bring her back to Katherine next time!!”

“Tasha was amazing with my two dogs! I really enjoyed all the updates and photos and they were so spoiled with snuggles and walks! I will definitely book again in the future.”

“Breslin had such a great time with Jayme and family! We had to book kind of last minute and she was very accommodating. The entire time we received plenty of pictures and updates on our pup and he felt right at home and very loved! Would recommend Jayme to anyone looking. Thanks again!!”

About: I have been a dog owner since I was a little girl with two little miniature poodles. Have had a love for animals and caring for them ever since. I have always wanted to work with animals but have not had the money for schooling. Attended a Vet Tech. class at the Allegan Tech. center for 2 years and absolutely enjoyed every minute of working with all types of animals including helping with doggie daycare, walking, bathing, and just plain having fun with them. I love to help out family and friends in caring for their loved animals while they are away. :) We have a house with a fenced in yard for room to safely run around. Our little dog named Rupert is older but just minds his own business lol. We recently have lost a German short haired pointer named Arthur at a young age of 5. We are still heart broken. While waiting to find another new dog to love as our own we would be happy to love and care for your dog!
“We always have ease of mind when leaving our pups with Jacob. He does a great job of communicating and prioritizing the safety of the dogs. We can count on him giving our dogs playtime, exercise, and much affection!”

“Ru watched our dog—Bailey—for us while we went on a trip abroad for a week and a half and she was amazing! She updated us and sent pictures of Bailey to us regularly, which made us never worry about if Bailey was doing okay. Ru was also very flexible in extending Bailey’s stay with her by a few hours when our flight back home was unexpectedly canceled. Overall, I highly recommend Ru to watch your companion animals—she’s wonderful!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
