“Anne was great with Murphy! He stayed for a week and I received picture and status updates daily. Murphy was well taken care of and he loved playing with their dog as well. I would definitely request Anne to watch Murphy anytime we needed a sitter. She is highly recommended!”

“My dog never wants to come home from Tasha's. He loves staying there and playing with the other dogs. "Charlie" has stayed at Tasha's several times over the past 15 months. Tasha is caring, accommodating, and a good communicator while dogs are in her care.”

“Kailee took excellent care of Milo. He was loved and well cared for. She sent frequent photo updates during his stay and was fast to respond to any questions before and during his stay and was helpful and accommodating.”

“We are so happy we found Beth! We had a couple schedule changes and she was more than accommodating. We will be very happy to use her to watch our doggies whenever shes available!”

“Leo always enjoys time with Terry and his sweet wife. I know when he’s with them that he’s being loved on and cared for like he’s their own. I’d give them more than five stars if that was an option!”

“Return customer of Pamela’s. She does a great job watching our dog and taking care of him like he was hers. Highly recommend. Our dog Oliver has always had a great time at Pamela’s.”

“Amazing! Third time Max stays with Loretta! Once again, looking at photos I feel like Max thinks that Loretta’s place is his place. To the point, I guess he becomes conflicted in between coming back home or staying there longer. 😂😂😂”

“Christina was great with our dog Asher! She was great at communicating and sent pictures of him to us while we were on vacation and showed us how he was loving spending time with their dog. They even sent us home with a new dog toy for Asher and he loves it. Thanks for helping us out! We will definitely request to book with them again.”

“Elizabeth was so great with my dog for the weekend. He was so happy and relaxed when I picked him up. She also kept me updated with how he was doing and pictures of him. Cannot say enough good things. Thank you Elizabeth!”

“Natasha is a pro dog sitter. Two thumbs up. My dogs had a string of not ideal behavior during my trip, and Natasha was so gracious and kind in telling me and dealing with them.”

“First time Rover user, and couldn’t have had a better experience with Katherine and her family. Easy to work with, provided updates throughout the stay, and sounds like her family had a great time with our dog Bella. She definitely got the one on one attention we were hoping for, opposed to taking her to the dog kennel/boarding. Would definitely bring Bella back to her again, and recommend to anyone else!”

About: I have been a dog owner since I was a little girl with two little miniature poodles. Have had a love for animals and caring for them ever since. I have always wanted to work with animals but have not had the money for schooling. Attended a Vet Tech. class at the Allegan Tech. center for 2 years and absolutely enjoyed every minute of working with all types of animals including helping with doggie daycare, walking, bathing, and just plain having fun with them. I love to help out family and friends in caring for their loved animals while they are away. :) We have a house with a fenced in yard for room to safely run around. Our little dog named Rupert is older but just minds his own business lol. We recently have lost a German short haired pointer named Arthur at a young age of 5. We are still heart broken. While waiting to find another new dog to love as our own we would be happy to love and care for your dog!
“Christine and her crew were incredible and did a great job. Thor came home exhausted and without any bad habits (begging from the table, attempting to get on furniture, etc). Great communication before and throughout the stay. Thor loved his time with Cornelius and is looking forward to his next visit.”

“All I have to say is when we pull up to Frances’ house ; my chocolate Lab Nell RACES to her door . She is whining when we turn the corner to her street. Nell tells me in every way a dog can that she loves staying with Frances and her family! I highly recommend them!”

“This was Molly's second time at Jenn's house and she loved it again. She got excited when we pulled into the driveway and it put us at ease knowing our girl was so well taken care of.”

“Rachael was great. We are summer RV'ers and needed a rover.com associate to watch our dogs for a week while we took off for a week adventure. Immediate response back from request and we set up meet and greet at her home. Very clean home and set up great for different scenarios. We received updates while gone and they were in great shape when we picked up. Great fenced in yard.”

“Our dog Samantha could not be happier when she stays with Julie and her husband, Joe. We feel very comfortable leaving Samantha with them. They kept a close eye on her and even noticed some ear issue that was communicated and taken care of right away. Highly recommend them!”

“couldn't be happier with the help Melvin and his partner gave us, we were at a bind and they came to the rescue! On top of that our Moka was treated like family and they sent pictures regularly, we will definitely ask for their help later on. 1000% recommended !”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hopkins
My dog was so happy with Rachael. It was clear that she loves animals and understands them as soon as we met. She treated Nova like her own pet. Nova got to play with Rachael's dogs, and run around in a fenced in yard. She slept like a rock when we got home! We hope to use Rachael's services again when we travel!

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
