About: Hello, my name is Amanda! I would be honored to provide peace of mind, knowing your home &/or pets are safe and cared for, while you are away, during the day or longer. I offer drop in visits, dog walking, doggy daycare, boarding and house sitting. Additionally, I have experience taking care of my parent's diabetic cat, when they went out of town, which included giving him insulin shots twice a day, so I am comfortable with some medical needs' animals. My cat, Penny, is technically a senior cat, and she remains very healthy and happy! I also have experience taking care of my friends' senior dogs overnight when her and her family went out of town. As well as my own senior dog, Bentley, who has passed away. It has been a few years, but my heart is still too broken to think about welcoming a dog into my home for forever, but I so miss having a dog's company, so, temporary will have to do for now! I know just how much I loved my dog and wanted to protect him and keep him happy & healthy as long as possible, and I promise to treat your pets the same. I was also the proud owner of 4 chickens when I lived in Florida. They were the greatest entertainment! By the time I moved to Michigan, there was sadly only one remaining chicken, I didn't want to confuse her with the weather change, so of course she became a house chicken. She got to live her last two years living inside the house, cozy as can be, with me, my dog & cat. We all loved it! Long story short, I'm also available for some farm animal sitting. I promise to keep them out of your house! Unless... I would love to chat with you about your pets and your situation, and see if I can be of any assistance to you! Thank you so much! Talk soon! I have a fully fenced yard and no off-limit spaces in my home, your pets will be treated as my own, while in my care!

“We couldn't have gotten any more lucky than we did with Julie & her husband. Our Nya Bear looked like she had a great time in their home. Unfortunately she just started to blow her coat right before we dropped her off, but they continued to brush her out throughout her stay. We'll definitely be having her stay with Julie & her husband from now on when we need someone to look after her.”

Being a home away from home is an huge honor to me. I am currently available during weekdays for daycare. I have a great space at my home and neighborhood to keep your dog company for the day. I am now doing pet sitting from my home and able to stay at your home. Whatever your pet is most comfortable with! I have a fenced in yard and my own dog that would love to play. I also have a great neighborhood to explore with your pet. The latest pick up time is 6:30pm but can accommodate if something comes up.

Right from the get go they were extremely responsive and had the answers to all my questions. And so friendly! We did a quick meet and greet at their home and I instantly knew I’d be trusting my guy with them. Just really wonderful people and they clearly love the animals they take care of. And they sure took care of mine! I got lots of pictures and updates over the weekend, and Ding looked so happy in all of them. He really hit it off with their dog Sonic! The weekend flew by and after an easy pickup (they really made everything so easy!) Ding and I were back home. He totally crashed out after a fun weekend with his new friends.
