7. Jay A.
“Jay is great with pets and an all around great person. He is an amazing pet dad to his dog and to the newest kitten additions to his family. He is very “never met a stranger” when it comes to other people’s pets as well. He has met my cat and some of the dogs I dog sit and he has gotten along perfectly with all of them immediately. He is patient and nurturing with any animal he meets!”
8. Keegan S.
“My *spirited* French Bulldog loves Keegan! When they are together I know he’s in the best hands. Whether it’s walking, playing, cuddling, cleaning, administering meds or daily care, Keegan keeps my anxious dog safe, healthy and calm. He is always respectful of my home when he stays, I’d recommend him to anyone looking for pet care!”

About: I've cared for dogs since the age of eight and love being around them! I was the main caretaker for our family dogs. I did train my first dog basic commands such as sit and come here. I love going on walks and playing with pets. I'm currently working part-time from home so I have plenty of time to care for your pups! I am mostly free during the afternoon on weekdays. Can further discuss my schedule if any more information is needed. I have a spacious yard for your pup to play in (not fenced so preferably on a leash) and have a park near my home. I have space indoors and can crate your pet if the crate is provided. I have reliable transport to go check on your fur babies while you are gone.

About: Fewer Clients = Safer Stay. I have all 5 star reviews, but not many reviewers, why? I am ensuring your pup's safety and mine by making sure Rover requests are a good fit. I cherry-pick my client list to keep everyone healthy and safe. I encourage you to also thoroughly review who you select to care for your pup. I encourage you to fill out your Rover profile completely because caretakers, like myself, do review it before accepting your booking. After you submit a request for care, I will ask questions and make sure we are a good fit for each other. I have cared for dogs extra small to giant breeds, including those with special diets, missing limbs, medication requirements, and epileptic seizures. I have also cared for special needs cats. I send frequent picture updates in the app and I thoroughly read your pet's profile needs. I'm currently working part-time from home with a lot of availability. Pets free roam my open concept living space while I work on the computer within their sight. We are able to take frequent breaks. My yard is large, we regularly leash walk the clean grass acre, AND NOW HAS A COMPLETELY ENCLOSED FENCED ZONE FOR PETS! My road is private and there is no traffic. I have a golden retriever who is very intuitive to other dog's special needs. He knows how to play gently, or not at all, with elderly, disabled, or small dogs. My small maltese is a couch potato that knows how to navigate around high energy and giant breeds. I can crate your pet if you desire. Located in a country setting just a few miles off the highway, midway between Kalamazoo/Portage and Grand Rapids/Byron Center, easily accessible by many neighboring cities and towns. Accepts last minute bookings and loves overnights and extended stays. Can accept multiple dogs and will accept only your dog(s), if you prefer, during your stay. Looking to be as accommodating as possible. I am home full time. Your schedule is followed to keep your pet comfortable. Pets are at ease with consistency and a calm environment where they enjoy play, cuddles, and lots of choices for comfortable naps. Pets are allowed on the furniture where cuddles are encouraged. Home is kept super clean and smoke free. Open concept home means your pet is always within sight and kept on the main level. A portion of the yard for pets is completely enclosed with a fence leading to an entry/exit of the home so that escape artists never have a chance. 😀

About: I’ve had several dogs of my own throughout my life, I grew up around them and watched other peoples’ from time to time as well. Aside from that, I would volunteer to walk and play with the pups to keep them entertained just because I love being around them. I also dogsit as frequently as I can for the people in my life. Between work and classes I have extra time that could be spent helping take care of and keeping an eye on other’s pets and giving them extra love! I am willing to dog-sit, walk, and feed anyones pet that needs it whether their owner is away or just cant be home at all one day.

“I've known Kristen for several years. I've "babysat" her dog when she has gone out of town. She is very loving and caring towards her dog (and cats) and I think she would do a great job of taking care of other people's pets. She takes care of her pets like any great parent would take care of their children.”

About: Hello! My name is Bridget and I moved to Gun Lake this spring. I am from Chicago (Northwestern Alum - Go Cats!!), but love being a Michigander now! I have extensive experience dog sitting and really enjoy it! I have done rover in multiple cities as I moved after grad school, and it has helped me meet some awesome people and their fur babies. Dogs make my day brighter and I am very excited to join Rover and make new pup friends! I also offer house and plant sitting if you are away. Trust is essential in this, so please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting your dog to ensure that I am a good fit for your family. Have a great day! I currently work full time, but hybrid. Depending on your needs I would love to arrange my schedule if we can make it work. Please just be honest with me with your expectations and I will be honest about my availability. I do not allow dogs off leash in my care unless they are in your secure fenced in yard. I trust that some dogs have great recall, but my biggest priority is their safety while in my care.
