About: I bring over 15 years of experience as a puppy trainer for Canine Companions for Independence, where I helped raise and train service dog puppies with structure, consistency, and patience. That experience gave me a deep understanding of obedience training, behavior development, socialization, and building trust with dogs of all temperaments. I’ve also had dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. I’m comfortable reinforcing training, working with puppies, and providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide exercise or playtime based on their needs, clean litter boxes or pick up waste promptly, and reinforce any household rules or training already in place. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I focus on consistency, patience, and attentiveness. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. About: I’ve owned dogs since before I can even remember and they all still have a special place in my heart. I have tons of experience with pet sitting, dog walking, belly rubs and ear scratches. My skin care routine wouldn’t be complete without dog kisses. I’ve wrestled huge dogs since I was 6, so no dog scares me. And if I get bit, it is what it is cause I still love that doggo. I’ll treat your pets like I would my own - which means they’re family. They deserve the world! I am currently available every day, all day. I’d love to turn this into a career so this will be my number 1 priority. I live at an apartment complex that is extremely pet friendly and has GREAT areas for walking and two fenced in areas where dogs can run. I also have a sliding glass door that goes out to a patio and yard area because I live on the ground floor. I can crate your puppets if needed or they can be free to roam around.

About: My name is Lemuel and I have been taking care of pets all my life! I have a natural ability to become friends with any pet I come into contact with. I follow clear and straightforward instructions and make sure to stay in contact in case of any questions or concerns. Overall, I don’t just watch pets, I care for them as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. As long as I am home from school which is usually holidays or the summer, I am available most of the week outside of any plans I may have. I have a fenced and spacious backyard and a clean and pet friendly household free of kids and safety hazards ensuring a safe environment for any pet!

I do have a job but it is all remote and I can control the days and hours I work. I will treat your fur babies like my own and will make sure your house is looking as good as you left it. About: I have taken care of pets my whole life and have house sat for pets of all types in my neighborhood, I love taking pets on walks and visiting dog parks. I am currently a college student that is free during the summer besides having online classes. I go to the gym in the morning but otherwise am quite free, just tending to my apartment. I have had multiple cats and dogs in the past and have volunteered at animal shelters so have a ton of knowledge on proper care for animals. I am also great at following instructions.

About: I have had pets of many kinds almost my entire life and many friends have entrusted me with the care of their pets while away. My friend who ran a successful rescue trusts me with her medically complex rescues. I follow whatever instructions are there with special attention paid to any medications that need to be given or other special details. I'm a freelancer that spends too much time sitting while I work. I'm very excited to add more walks into my life and a bit more out of the house time taking care of your furry friends when you need! In your home I will do everything in my power to take good care of your four legged friend. Whether that means medicating them at the right times, chilling on the couch for a bit of snuggling, or playing fetch in the backyard (or living room) until the exciteable animal is a little more chill from getting energy out.

About: My experience with dogs starts as a child. I grew up with 3 dogs. Now on my own I am the go to person when it comes to watching family members/friends dogs. I have my own dogs(1year and 1.5years) and 3 cats. I work at a cage free doggie daycare part time where I’m constantly learning new techniques and skills to use while working with dogs. Dogs aren't just animals to me, they are companions that need exercise and attention all the time. My goal is to give them the attention that they need when you aren't able to. Your pet will leave happy, healthy, tired, and excited to come back! I am working full time on 1st shift(Sat, Sun, & Mon) but between my partner and I, we are available everyday. She will handle most of the operations on my working days. The safety and happiness of your pet is our #1 priority and want to ensure you that your pet is in good hands. I have leashes, treats, and toys. All toys will be sanitized before and after play to ensure no virus or bacteria spreads. I don't like to walk on busy streets. Walks can take place in your neighborhood or choose to let your pup leave and go walk the trails I like to bring my dogs to. Between the both of us, we are home the majority of the week to care for your pup! Mondays from 9-5 are the one time a week we both work, but we have a Furbo camera to watch from your pet from work. I have a backyard with a tie out for dogs to let out their energy and also two younger dogs that are always ready to play ball. We can crate dogs as needed, adjust to food schedules, and walk pus that need the extra energy released.

I’m currently a graduate student at WMU, and spend most of my free time studying or hanging out with my cats! My schedule is very flexible, which means I have more time to spend with your fur babies :) I am able to walk, feed and play with your pet for as long as needed, as well as drop by for potty breaks as often as needed. I take into account the personality of every animal and tailor each experience to each different pet.

CATS (very experienced and skilled with cats - my knowledge of them is above and beyond, as I have 2 of my own myself, both rescues.) (2) Rabbits - one was my roommates; the other belongs to a very close friend and her Husband. I am experienced feeding them and I have knowledge of their temperaments and needs. Reptile experience: 2 Snakes (I am not comfortable feeding them mice, however, sorry about that, but I am experienced with humidifying their environments and checking up on them - fearlessly!) Please just ask me! :) My Mom passed away last summer and I decided to move back home to Michigan and take a year off to tend to my Father, being that I’m an only child and he’s my only family left. I am grateful to be back home in Michigan, and I’d like to utilize my free time wisely - pet sitting / house sitting / spending time with animals brings me peace and joy! My career consisted of a tremendous amount of safety and security tasks. I am a reputable individual with drive and passion and I love connecting with people. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies!!! I am available in the greater West Michigan area. If you are not in Kalamazooo, I am more than willing to travel to you for a small fee, depending how far it takes for me to drive to you. I want you to be at comfort and ease while you’re away, so I always ask for a little note about your expectations of me, your pet(s) feeding schedule, walking schedule and typical routes, what is ok/not ok in regards to (being on the furniture, offering treats, jumping on people - I don’t mind being jumped on at all by a cute dog, but if that’s something you’re trying to train your dog NOT to do, please note that, for example, so I can contribute to your training rather than mess it up. My home is open to dogs (only one at a time) who are OK being around my cat, Oliver. He has been acclimated with dogs.. and I would typically keep them separated if you want me to watch them in my home. I have an apartment, and we have a nice dog park.. but do keep in mind; I might have to fluctuate your fees depending on what adjustments I may need to make to my home or lifestyle to accommodate your pet in my home temporarily! In your home, I am very respectable and trustworthy (with plenty of references so you feel comfortable). I don’t mind doing light cleaning while I am in your space, I always clean up after myself and your pet while you are away. Again, any expectations of me? Just inform me! :)

I have great attention to detail and care for pets in a timely manner, feeding and walking consistently according to their normal schedule to avoid disrupting their routine. I know how tough it is to leave your pets, but I will give them love and care and send as many pictures as you’d like throughout their time with me. I am a grad student and I would be happy to add caring for your pet into my day or week. I have time to let your pet out about every 4-8 hours. My schedule is flexible and I am happy to accommodate any special requests. I do have a part time job with a variable schedule, so depending on the dates I may or may not have to go to work for about 8 hours. I groomed my golden doodle and gave him all his haircuts for several years. I’d be happy to groom your dog too! I will do my best to adjust to feed and walk or play with your dog at the time they are used to so their routine isn’t disturbed.

About: I have 5 dogs of my own, ranging from a cattle dog to a pitbull.I have no problem taking care of any type of animal and I have experience in all fields of care, including bathing, walking, nail-trimming, and more. I’m free from 6am-11pm on weekdays! I do work full-time but my boss is lenient and he’d have no problem with me tending to your furry friends! I personally have 5 dogs in a non-fenced in yard but they are all very well trained. I would prefer to keep your animals in the comfort of their own home though due to my dogs being very playful, if your dogs are comfortable being in a high-energy setting it would be no problem but they don’t need added stress from my rowdy bunch.
