About: Hi, I'm Jill! Dogs have been part of my life since I can remember. I've spent years caring for and connecting with dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. Friends and family often call me the "dog whisperer" because I seem to naturally build trust with dogs, whether they're shy, anxious, energetic, independent, or just need a little extra patience. I also have a special appreciation for senior dogs and understand their unique needs, routines, and comfort requirements. Your pup will be welcomed into a loving home with Sunny, my friendly chocolate Lab, a large-fenced yard, a doggie door, and plenty of supervised playtime and attention throughout the day. There is also optional swimming in the river behind my home. About: I’ve owned dogs since before I can even remember and they all still have a special place in my heart. I have tons of experience with pet sitting, dog walking, belly rubs and ear scratches. My skin care routine wouldn’t be complete without dog kisses. I’ve wrestled huge dogs since I was 6, so no dog scares me. And if I get bit, it is what it is cause I still love that doggo. I’ll treat your pets like I would my own - which means they’re family. They deserve the world! I am currently available every day, all day. I’d love to turn this into a career so this will be my number 1 priority. I live at an apartment complex that is extremely pet friendly and has GREAT areas for walking and two fenced in areas where dogs can run. I also have a sliding glass door that goes out to a patio and yard area because I live on the ground floor. I can crate your puppets if needed or they can be free to roam around.

“Izabella was so great with coco. I had a last minute request when her longtime caregiver could no longer care for her. I had set up care through another person on rover and they cancelled which left me just two days to find someone. Izabella sent me her work hours so I could coordinate drop ins and walks to work with cocos schedule. She came the next day for a meet and greet. While I was away she gave great photos and updates. She even offered to take out the trash and put some salt down. She offered an additional check in if needed the day we were coming back which was wonderful since our plane got delayed. Would definitely recommend her!”
About: I've had dogs for as long as I can remember. My dad used to help help run a rescue for several years, and we had many dogs of varying breeds and ages in our home. I currently have one dog named Alvin who was born in 2022. He is a yellow lab with a lot of energy! I am venturing into the working world, and this is my only role. My availability is wide open and I'm willing to help when needed! I have a small fenced in area under our deck where my dog relieves himself. I go for walks and there is a dog park very close to the house. My dog has extreme crate anxiety, so he isn't created. I am comfortable helping to ensure your pet is created as necessary.

About: Hi, I’m Kaitlyn! I have experience regularly caring for different types of animals since I was about 13 years old. I used to volunteer at my local animal shelter before moving to Kalamazoo and have lots of experience with different breeds of dogs of various sizes, ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I also have experience with dogs with different temperaments from extremely timid to extremely outgoing and hyper as well as ample experience with reactive dogs. I’m currently a student at Western Michigan University and I also work part time as a server. My schedule is pretty flexible and I should be able to accommodate most requests. I treat your fur baby like they are my own! I’m very attentive and can continuously update you with pictures/videos so you can feel completely confident that your pet is in good hands!
About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life, ranging from puppy till very old. I have experience with dogs of all sizes from terriers to 100 lb German shepherds. I am familiar and comfortable with dogs of all temperament, from super hyper and high energy to very timid. I am very flexible in scheduling, great at keeping you up to date and communicating. I also have experience with rabbits, hamsters, Guinea pigs, lizards, snakes, horses, birds, and fish :) I can work with multiple animals at the same time, and I can provide any sort of medication/ special treatment that they may need to be loved and happy. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;

Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
