About: I have 2 dogs and a cat. I have been a multiple pet household for 20 years. I help my friends and neighbors with their pets when they are away. I have fostered dogs before and I have volunteered at the spca. I know how hard it is to find good pet sitters and would love to help others with this. I work from home so am flexible and able to help out during the day. I currently work from home so have the flexibility to care for your pets during the day and evening. I'm also open to boarding at our home so long as they get along with our other pets. I have a fenced in yard, 2 friendly dogs and 1 cat. I can come to your home for walks and/or play time as well.

About: Having a few furry friends of my own (two cats and a corgi), I am always looking to make new furry friends and feel more than capable of providing quality care for your pets. I work an 8-5 job Monday through Friday, but can do after 5:00 drop-ins (potentially mid day drop ins when schedule allows) weekends are much more flexible and can be worked around. At my home, our corgi is crate trained and loves to play (lots of energy!). My cats could not be more opposite of each other — one of them is lovey and greets you at the door, while the other is shy and likes to hide. Either works for me!

About: I have had pets of many kinds almost my entire life and many friends have entrusted me with the care of their pets while away. My friend who ran a successful rescue trusts me with her medically complex rescues. I follow whatever instructions are there with special attention paid to any medications that need to be given or other special details. I'm a freelancer that spends too much time sitting while I work. I'm very excited to add more walks into my life and a bit more out of the house time taking care of your furry friends when you need! In your home I will do everything in my power to take good care of your four legged friend. Whether that means medicating them at the right times, chilling on the couch for a bit of snuggling, or playing fetch in the backyard (or living room) until the exciteable animal is a little more chill from getting energy out.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've been lucky to parent dogs, cats, and horses, including two retired racing Greyhounds and a tuxedo cat who made me a certified cat person. Beyond my own, I've been caring for pets professionally (i.e., beyond friends and family) for more than 15 years, and after taking some time away while completing my PhD and living abroad, I'm excited to be back doing something I've always loved. In 2011, I started walking pups professionally in Chicago as a side gig during my breaks from tour managing for a band, which quickly turned into my dog-walking clients asking me to stay in their home with their pets while they were away. Over the span of just a few years, I built relationships with more than 30 clients, with most of them turning into repeat (and repeat and repeat!) clients. I've cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes and everything in between. I've also worked with many pets that required extra patience or specialized care. I've cared for senior pets, dogs < 1yo, a blind Australian Cattle Dog, a deaf cat, highly anxious and stranger-wary dogs, VERY stranger-wary cats, a Beagle with a seizure disorder, and pets receiving medication. I've also been the go-to sitter for a couple of families going through difficult times with their critters, including caring for their pets with terminal illnesses during their final days (both a black lab named Maggie and the sweetest deaf black cat named Sam) . Over the years, I've handled a few very unexpected situations as well. Whether it's a medical event requiring an unexpected trip to the veterinarian or even arriving to a cat drop-in visit to find that the apartment had experienced a break-in (in my Chicago days, which included working with police and gathering the terrified cats from the apartment stairwell), I've stayed calm, communicated clearly, and focused on keeping the critters safe and the clients informed. There have also been several occasions where I've extended my stay last-minute due to a client's canceled flight or interrupted travel plans. One of the biggest differences between my prior pet sitting days and now is my flexibility due to my remote work. When I pet sat extensively throughout Chicago, my tour managing days had ended and I worked a full-time 9-5 downtown. This was fine for my clients, as they had a similar schedule. But I now work fully remotely, so I have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to spend much more time with your pets throughout the day than I could years ago. I essentially do my best to work around your pet's normal routine. I'm happy to accommodate early mornings, evenings, or midday visits whenever possible. My goal is to make life feel as normal and stress-free as possible for your pets while you're away. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I'd expect someone to show mine, as I've also hired pet sitters over the years for my own critters. I follow your instructions (the more the better!), keep you updated with photos (lots!) and messages, and make sure your pets receive the same routines, rules, and attention they're used to (e.g., their feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, cuddle time, or simply keeping them company).

About: Since the age of 12, I have taken care of both dogs and cats! I love animals and do not discriminate against breed or age. I want your pet(s) to feel comfortable and at peace when you are away from them. My experience ranges from overnight sitting, day sitting, bathing, feedings, bathroom breaks, administering medications, and quick check-in's. My goal is to make your pets feel loved, well taken care of, and happy while in my care. I work a full time job, Monday-Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. I typically only work 1 day in office and the other four at home. I am able to bring my computer and do my work outside of my office and home location. When I am in the office, there are opportunities for me to stop by and let your animals use the bathroom, eat, or play. In your home, I will make sure to follow the routine that best fits your pet. Whether it is adhering to a specific diet, giving them medicine, following a bathroom schedule, etc., I want to make your time away from them as easy as possible. I will care for your pets like they are my own and always keep open communication throughout my time with them.

About: My family enjoys animals. We have 1 dog, 2 cats and a small bunny. I enjoy watching animals play and being around them. If you are looking for someone safe and caring to walk, play or drop in to feed and let them out, I'd be happy to help. Unfortunately, I am not available during week days for drop in appointments, but I'm around on weekends. I may however be able to drop in and walk your dog or potty break in the evenings. About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, for family and friends who are pet parents, I am their first choice when it comes to pet sitting. I have also volunteered at my local animal shelters and to me, the animal's well-being is my highest priority. I have a job with flexible work hours so I can always make time to take care of your best friend. I also work remotely so I can be with your pet for however long is needed. If I am at the client's house, I will follow any and all special instructions involving taking care of their pet. I will make sure the dog is fed, gets plenty of exercise, clean up any messes, and just make sure that they feel safe and cared for.

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life and have house sat for pets of all types in my neighborhood, I love taking pets on walks and visiting dog parks. I am currently a college student that is free during the summer besides having online classes. I go to the gym in the morning but otherwise am quite free, just tending to my apartment. About: I have been around many different kinds of animals growing up. I have experience with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits and other small rodents and reptiles. I’m currently working another job full time in the afternoons but I am happy and eager to accept any visits from the early morning until 1 pm. Overnight visits are also available if I am able to have at least a weeks notice, thank you! As your pet sitter it’s my goal to make sure your pets as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I would love to know their routines and personalities so I can care for them as best as possible! All animals in the home need to be included in the request! Cats bunnies and smaller animals in the home during overnight stays must be included in your request.
