Dog Walking in Portage

About: I have had pets my whole life and love to spend time and play with all animals. I have been dog and cat sitting for 8 years for coworkers and friends. I have a 5 year old Catahoula Hound mix that I adopted from the SPCA! When I house sit he does need to come with me. He has never had issues with other dogs or cats. I am a medical assistant during the week for Bronson and would love to spend time with animals on the weekends or after work playing or going for walks. I make a point to let the animal smell and come to me. It is their environment and they don't know me yet! Once they are comfortable I love to get on the ground and play.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and they bring me so much joy. I’ve had experience with dogs of all ages and sizes and I’ve found that I enjoy them all. I’ve had experience with training, potty training and have helped family and friends with dog walking. I currently go to school online so I am home most of the day. I have an older dog of my own so I am used to a routine of being able to be home to let me dog outside and take him for walks at least once a day. I have a fenced in backyard so that your dog can be outside as much as they like. I also have a dog that absolutely loves other animals. My son is a big fan of helping out with animals and we both enjoy snuggling up with our dog at the end of the day. I do allow dogs on furniture and in all rooms of my house, however I will respect if this is something you do not wish your dog to do.

They bring so much joy to my life❤️ When I lived with my parents, I had the opportunity to grow up with a Whippet for the past 6 years! She’s 11 years old now, and she is just the sweetest little girl ever. Because I don’t have other animals here, your pet gets my full, focused attention and lots of one-on-one care. I have several years of hands-on experience with dogs through paid and volunteer work at the Washington Humane Society and Michigan Humane Society, including time as an Animal Care and Spay Clinic Support Technician. I've loved dogs my whole life and currently share my home with Ruthie, my sweet 9 year old rescued beagle who enjoys meeting other well-behaved dogs. I'm available for dog walking and sitting. About: I just love pets … and want to take care of yours as my own! I have either owned or had a pet in my life … ALL of my life! I do know what it takes to love and care for them and take this responsibility seriously 😊. I am a retired Army guy of 34 years and this is just a next opportunity for me to help those in the community that need someone to entrust their fur baby to someone and honored it could be me! Just again a retired army guy that has a fair amount of flexibility and doing this as a fun gig job … if the dates and times work for both of us then great, if not I hope I can align with you another time! We currently are taking care of our ‘granddog’, Larry the Corgi. Larry has a partially fenced yard but has been trained to stay in yard while we are out with him. We have also had huskies which of course needed a fenced in yard so we also had that for their safety as runners! Both dogs each walked on leashes, he plenty of playtime outside with other dogs, and provided safe and comfy sleeping places in and out! Our fur babies where treated like family and look forward to treating yours as the same per YOUR guidance and preferences

About: I grew up with pets and currently have my own 4 fur babies at home! I own my home with a fenced in yard! I can watch your dog in my home if you prefer but do not mind staying over if that is what you would like! I offer walking services as well if that is what your fur baby needs during the day. I do allow my pets on the furniture and bed but can keep yours off if you would prefer! Being crate trained is not necessary and I can help with potty training for any puppies that will be in my care. I do have a full time 9-5 job but I can easily leave at lunch for any potty breaks your fur babies will need! I do work full time 9-5 every day but I can leave for lunch to let your fur baby outside or give meds if needed! I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in! I stay outside with them while they do business to ensure safety. Playtime is a necessity so we will have multiple times a day to play outside with a tennis ball or go for walks

About: There have been several points in my life where my mother or my father have owned more that one of a certain animal at once. I’ve grown up around dogs with my mother, namely pit-bulls and schnauzers, and my father currently owns 9 cats. Since I was the one who wanted a lot of these animals (besides the cats those were all my fathers doing) I took care of them! If we were to branch out to animals beyond cats and dogs that i’ve taken care of, I’ve owned rats and take care of a fish pond at a frequent clients house! I have an extremely free schedule as i’m an artist and love the company of a furry friend around whenever i’m relaxing. I am extremely flexible with scheduling and thorough with my job, I want to do well not only by the pets but by the owners too. I follow the directions i’m given VERY thoroughly. Doors in my home are closed throughout the day and I keep the floor clean, not only for myself but for other animals who are being dropped off at my home. This means that the living room and kitchen are the only open spaces they’d be walking into without a member of my home with them.

About: I have had pets of many kinds almost my entire life and many friends have entrusted me with the care of their pets while away. My friend who ran a successful rescue trusts me with her medically complex rescues. I follow whatever instructions are there with special attention paid to any medications that need to be given or other special details. I'm a freelancer that spends too much time sitting while I work. I'm very excited to add more walks into my life and a bit more out of the house time taking care of your furry friends when you need! In your home I will do everything in my power to take good care of your four legged friend. Whether that means medicating them at the right times, chilling on the couch for a bit of snuggling, or playing fetch in the backyard (or living room) until the exciteable animal is a little more chill from getting energy out.

About: I have lived on a farm since I was born and animals have always been a huge part of my life! I am very passionate about making sure all furry friends live a fun and safe life! I love meeting new animals and learning all their different personalities. This summer, I am available most days to hang out with your furry friends! About: Hi my name is Christie and I am a huge Animal Lover! To me, dogs and cats aren’t just animals they are lifelong companions. 💕 I have many years of experience caring for a multitude of animals (30+ to be exact). As a kid, we had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds you name it. In high school, I worked for a groomer and learned a lot about how to properly care for different animals. I've always had a passion for rescuing because of my mom and her love of rescuing/saving animals in need of a home. It’s something that she passed down to me. We have a 2 beautiful rescue cats Bella and Lio as well as a 1.5 year old rescue dog named Nova. They are my furrkids, my companions, my therapy animals, and my little loves. As a self-employed cosmetologist, I am blessed with a flexible schedule which allows me the opportunity to be here to help care for your pet companions in the best ways possible. Exercise is important to me so we like to spend time taking the animals we care for on long walks or hikes, swimming, or to the park to chase a ball or frisbee.
