4. Daniel O.
“In Switzerland, Daniel was volunteering at the official Zurich kennel. We have a bichon frisé, a rescue dog with parvo virus. He gets seizures when we miss his medication. Daniel takes him for daily walks. Until recently, we had a Shi-Zu, another rescue dog, named Binx. He was older., Daniel loved Binx. Unfortunately Binx had heart problems. Binx needed a lot of medications, and the vet had to put him down. Daniel was very upset about Binx. Daniel has a long history with dogs. He loves dogs.”
5. Maggie W.
“Maggie is the best!! Our dogs were staying with my elderly parents while we were out of town and needed to be walked everyday. Maggie came to our rescue and walked them daily and gave them VIP treatment! Maggie is a dependable, professional loving care giver and we would definitely call her again to care for our dogs!!”

About: I completed the Dog Walking Academy in November 2018, provided by TipTopTails Training in Kalamazoo. Also completed Pet Tech CPR, First Aid and Care in November 2018. Having recently retired from WMU, I am looking forward to spending time with your dog(s) or cat(s) and earning some extra income. I have been a dog owner all of my life, my husband and I currently have one American Staffordshire Terrier rescue named Mazzie who is three years old. I am available to come to your home to visit with and care for your pets, I am not able to house your animals at my home during the day or overnight. Eventually, these services may also be available. I have experience with dogs who need daily medications (insulin, seizure meds) or those with chronic issues. I am available to care for your pet(s) in your home while you are away for the day or on vacation. I am retired from WMU and have fairly open days and evenings. I am not able to do overnights at this time. I have had many dogs and right now we have adopted a new rescue dog, a Staffordshire terrier who is about 3 years old. For that reason, I do not bring your animals to my home, I come to you.

I have time to help others take care of their dogs and/or cats. I’m a retired high school counselor who is the biggest animal lover you will ever meet! I can care for your pets when you’re away and give them the care and attention they deserve. Whatever they need while you’re away, just let me know. I’m happy to help! They also have a water fountain and get bottled water only. They have tons of toys, many of which are interactive. They get their nails trimmed once a week and combed daily.

17. Alyssa K.
“Alyssa has been watching my dog since he was three months old, and now he is almost seven. I found her at a local doggy day care when I needed drop in visits for my puppy when I was at work, and she has been helping me ever since. No words can thank her for everything she has done for my dog and me. She has done drop in visits, taken my dog to and from doggy daycare when I have been unable to, and he has had multiple overnight stays with her when I have been out of town. She even took time off from work to take my dog to the vet when I was unable to after he was diagnosed with cancer. I always feel safe when he is with her. She has taught him multiple tricks and is an excellent trainer. He loves her and her dogs and can’t wait to see them. He always comes home tired from all the play he gets with them. Alyssa has been a blessing for my dog and I could not recommend anyone more than her.”
18. Rachel B.
“Did a great job meeting our two dogs and understood all the instruction we have for when we typically walk them. Enjoyed how the whole meeting went!”
19. Jenica D.
“Jenica is a caring, trustworthy, dependable and passionate person who loves pets. She will treat yours as if they were apart of her family. You won’t regret allowing her to spread joy to your own!”
20. Rod L.
“I’ve known Rod for over 30 years. Rod has had pets as part of his family for the majority of his life. He has owned mostly Husky’s. However, he also owned a German Shepherd and a cat. He is also a Grandpa to a three old energetic Corgi. Rod’s pets are considered pals. They do everything with him. He takes them for car rides, running, boating, fishing, and for long walks around the neighborhood. He even takes naps with them. 😊 He also enjoys interacting with pets in the neighborhood (too many to mention). And, on occasion he has been asked to care for their pets when they go on vacation or business trips. If you are looking for a pet care provider that will treat your beloved pet like a family member, is a person who honors commitments, shows up on time, and is trust worthy (retired military) then Rod is your person. I’d rate him two 🐾!”
