About: I have 2 dogs and a cat. I have been a multiple pet household for 20 years. I help my friends and neighbors with their pets when they are away. I have fostered dogs before and I have volunteered at the spca. I know how hard it is to find good pet sitters and would love to help others with this. I work from home so am flexible and able to help out during the day. I currently work from home so have the flexibility to care for your pets during the day and evening. I'm also open to boarding at our home so long as they get along with our other pets. I have a fenced in yard, 2 friendly dogs and 1 cat. I can come to your home for walks and/or play time as well.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has been caring for pets since I was 14 years old. Over the years, I’ve helped care for dogs, cats, and other animals for friends, family, and neighbors, and I truly treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I understand how important it is to feel confident and comfortable leaving your pet with someone you trust. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and loving while also following your pet’s routine and needs closely. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm and safe presence, I’m happy to provide care that fits their personality. I’m comfortable with pets of different ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I’m happy to communicate regularly with updates and photos so you always know how your furry family member is doing. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work part-time and am currently completing my master’s degree online, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be home often. This flexibility allows me to provide consistent attention, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the day rather than pets being left alone for long periods. When pets stay in my home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment where they can feel relaxed and cared for. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and rest. I know consistency helps pets feel secure, especially when they are away from their owners. I provide plenty of attention, supervision, and affection based on each pet’s personality and comfort level. Whether a pet enjoys being active and playful or prefers a quieter, relaxed environment, I adjust my care to meet their needs. I also make sure pets always have access to fresh water, a clean environment, and a safe space to rest. I take safety very seriously and monitor pets closely while they are in my care. I am happy to follow any specific instructions, including medications, crate routines, or special care requests. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident and reassured while they are away.
“Trina was the first dog sitter we left our pup with for a week. I was a bit nervous, but that was silly. Trina was so easy to work with, kind, and clearly experienced with dogs. My dog is shy with new people, but she was at ease with Trina. When I came to pick her up, it was clear that my pup was well cared for and comfortable with Trina. I will happily leave my best pup friend with Trina for trips in the future.”

“Luke and his family were exceptional! He was incredibly flexible with accommodations. We were able to leave Rosie and Loki with him in complete confidence that they would be taken care of, and provided daily photos and updates. I would highly recommend!”

“This was the second time Sarah had watched our dog and we are still so happy with the care that Sarah provides. She was also very accommodating with a slight change in drop off/pick up time. We know he is well loved and enjoys playing with her dogs as well. So grateful to have found Sarah!”

“Jessica did a wonderful job with our three kitties! She did everything as expected and then some. She was easy to communicate with and would send us daily photos of them eating, playing, or rolling around. I plan on reaching out to Jessica in the future when we need someone to look after our kitties again.”

“Jaime was very gentle to my cat and was always on time and my cat loved his presence. My cat is very shy and doesn’t usually like visitors, but Jaime really bonded with my cat. Will definitely rebook him!!”

“Lynn was incredibly kind and reliable! She was wonderful to meet and certainly loved on my cat, who was very happy to meet her too. Would definitely book again!!”

“Elizabeth was amazing with my two cats!! Sge was on time and communicated with me daily while we were gone on a long cruise. I loved the videos she sent me all the details of what she was doing with my boys. And could see they absolutely loved her. It was the first time I ever had someone other than family watch my boys while I was gone. She made us feel very comfortable and respected our home from the initial meet and greet through the time we got home. I could tell from the videos and pictures she was sending that my boys really enjoyed her and were comfortable with her. I’m sure they miss their play and outside time with her. I highly recommend Elizabeth!”

“Our cats love having Madaline drop in on them while we're away! She changes the litterbox, gives them wet food, sits with them, and sends us updates after each visit. She's definitely our go-to cat sitter!”

About: I believe cats are part of the family and deserve the same dependable, attentive care while their owners are away. I’m comfortable helping with feeding, fresh water, litter boxes, playtime, and spending time with your cat based on their individual personality and comfort level. I understand that some cats want attention while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to follow their normal routine and your specific instructions. I’ll also provide updates and photos so you can feel confident your cat is safe and well cared for.

“Farrell did a great job with drop in visits to take care of my cat while I was away on vacation for a week. I was always notified of the check in daily and Farrell sent pics of my kitty along with a short update on how she was doing. My cat can be temperamental and sassy, but Farrell did a great job! I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that my kitty was well taken care of.”

“Camryn responded immediately and came out to meet my doggies beforehand. The dogs like her! She came out with her little one, but the dogs weren't quite sure about the baby carrier with the fan on it :). They were really curious though. Camryn took good care of my fur-babies, fed them and made sure they went potty before she left. I will contact her again.”

“Theresa was excellent! She was very detailed and took caring for my cats very seriously, while loving on them and keeping me updated on everything. I would definitely book with her again, she is very trustworthy and thorough.”

“We felt so comfortable with Christy and her daughter dropping in on our cats! They were so well loved during our week away and even gave extra attention to our one cat who needs to be kept separate from the other. Communication was wonderful and she even gave some yummy food recommendations for our trip. She is wonderful and we would have her back in a heartbeat!”

“Vanessa was GREAT!! She went far and above our expectations. You would be hard pressed to find a better Rover. Abby loved her and Vanessa went out pf her way to make sure we knew what was happening with Abby at all times.”
About: Hi, I’m Debbie, and I have always had dogs in my life! I retired a little over a year ago, and I love spending time with my husband and our 2 year old Golden Retriever, Frankie. He’s our second Golden and we love this breed, although we really love all dogs — cats, too! I enjoy walking Frankie and we are avid walkers in this house. I’d love to take your dog on walks, too! I’m available for dog walking, drop in visits for feeding and potty breaks (with or without Frankie tagging along, that would be up to you); I can also housesit your dog in your own home while you’re away on vacation or other travels. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I’m retired, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I occasionally have appointments and other activities, but I can easily fit your pet’s care into my lifestyle. I have a fully fenced backyard where my Golden Retriever, Frankie, would be ready to make friends with your dog if you’d like them to meet. If you’d prefer that your dog stay at home in his/her own surroundings, I’ll be happy to oblige whatever requests you have in order to keep your pet comfortable and happy.

“Thank you Avery for taking care of our cats in the last minute! She took care all 3 of our cats really well, and all of them love Avery! I’d 100% recommend her to be your next sitter as I’ll do so as well.”

“I used Rod again for my pugs! They LOVE him. I scheduled him last minute and he immediately responded and made me feel good — once again—to leave my babies with him. He stayed longer than he needed to and i felt so comfortable being away.”

“Ashley was great! She gave us frequent updates and pictures every day:) And my cat loved her! Which we were surprised about because he’s usually very shy and hides, but he always comes out for Ashley! Would recommend.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Portage

“Ellie did a fantastic job watching my pup and was a pleasure to work with! She made sure Ophie’s needs were met and provided a great environment for her to get her energy out. I got plenty of updates during her stay, and she came home relaxed and happy. I highly recommend Ellie’s services!!”

“Nayoma was great! It was our first time leaving our dog with someone other than family. He takes a while to warm up to others but Nayoma was patient with him and he got more comfortable as the day went on. We were happy to get an update and some pictures of him throughout the day. I will definitely use Nayoma again in the future!”

“Natalie is incredibly self-possessed, which creates a sense a calmness around her that Greta reacted to right away. From all the updates she sent, I could tell my girl was relaxed and just being welcomed to be herself. It was clear from the photos provided that Natalie was getting right on her level and that Greta felt secure. I was late droping-off and picking up, but Natalie was so flexible, which I greatly appreciated. I'm really looking forward to seeing Greta get even more comfortable there, and it just felt like the right fit. I really trusted that Natalie would use good judgement if any issues were to arise, and they actually live a couple doors down from a vet. I could tell Natalie was confident in this role, my dog felt safe and cared for, and I could enjoy my time knowing that she was in capable hands. Greta was so calm when I picked her up, when normally she seems a little frantic to be back with me (even at my mom's)-- if you're looking for a chill place for your pet to feel at ease, this is it. Natalie also asked a lot of important questions when I dropped off Greta which made it clear she was thinking ahead and trying to create an environment that my girl could be happy in. I'm so appreciative of Natalie's considerate approach.”

“Julie and her husband, Joe, took good care of Obi. It was his first time staying with them. Julie sent me a picture and video of Obi having a good time. Their dog Barron was not home to play with, but I think they played with Obi and gave him lots of attention.”

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life, and they have enriched my life so much. I volunteered at animal shelters, working with dogs of all kinds, and socializing with the cats. I regularly walked dogs and was a dog/house sitter for over a year, then took a brief hiatus while I was working full time and am getting back into dog sitting now that I have a house of my own, and can offer boarding services! I have also had two puppies over my life that I helped raise and take care of into their old age. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to spend loving your critters, and my partner works fully remote so he is available to let dogs in and out while I am gone! We have a large fenced in backyard with lots of room to run and play, plus we love going on walks when we have dogs visiting us. We have two cats, Swiper and Bilbo, who are both familiar with dogs, and can be shy but very friendly. They also have their own hideaway which houses their food and litter that dogs do not have access to in case they need some time to themselves. My mom's dog, Juno, also visits us frequently, and she LOVES having playmates around and gets along with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I make sure to take swift action on any problems that may arise, and communicate frequently in detail. You can rest easy knowing I treat any critter in my care as if they were one of my own, and you will also receive picture updates every day, usually multiple times a day.
“Thanks again for providing great care to my dog, Sarah! I’m so glad your dogs and Moe get along so well. That’s great. Sarah is an awesome dog sitter if you’re looking for one.”

About: I grew up on and farm and I’ve had animals my whole life. I believe animals make the best company. As of right now I only have a grand puppy. I recently lost my mini schnauzer she was 17 so I may be adding a new member to our family soon. I would like to spend sometime with your animals and spoil them. I live inKalamazoo in a pet friendly condo complex with not only an extensive yard but with walking trails near by. I’m very comfortable with opening my home to Your pet and making them feel like they belong. I already have plenty of toys and things to keep them busy. I regularly babysit my grand puppy who is use to having other dogs around. I would really enjoy getting to know you and your pet, hope to accommodate you soon. Thank you Trina
About: I’ve been caring for all kinds of animals my whole life. My real passion is dogs and I’m focused on dog sitting/boarding/daycare, but I’m happy to take care of cats and drop in for other animals. I have owner trained (working with professional trainers) one at home service dog and am in the process of owner training a public access service dog. I use fear free training methods and animal management (no tools like e and prong collars). This means sometimes things take a little longer and look a little chaotic, but as long as all the animals are safe and as happy and healthy as possible, that’s what matters. I have two yellow labs (one bench, one field), a mixed breed rescue, and a cat. All my animals are very animal friendly. My big lab does take a noisy minute to adjust, but he’s a big sweetheart once he’s got the lay of the land. I have a yard with a living fence and a wooded property where the dogs can be walked if needed. I am home full time and just becoming an empty nester, so I have plenty of time and attention to devote to our furry friends. Most days it will just be me and the animals on our wooded property so there’s plenty of time and room for relaxation and play. I have a fairly large fenced yard and wooded surrounding property. My home is laid back and the animals are treated like family. They are welcome on furniture and have plenty of room to play and toys to play with. I just ask they be on tick and heartworm prevention as there are many bugs in the woods. I utilize positive reinforcement techniques in my home and do not use tools like e and prong collars. We use lots of treats to reward good behavior, so if there’s something your dog can’t have, please let me know. I have regular experience with basic grooming and administering meds. I have crates available if needed or preferred. I’ll do my best to care for them as you want. Our big lab, George does have some scary looking anxiety upon meeting (barking and growling). If you are boarding/daycare/meet and greet with us, George will be in a pen on leash, harness, and muzzle to start (either inside or outside weather dependent-prefer outside). As your dog explores, I will work with George to adapt to the new situation and eventually greet your dog appropriately. Once that happens, he’s good with appropriate play, boundary setting, etc…. It’s just the initial greeting that needs a little more management.
About: Devoted and die-hard dog Momma over here! I have a Muttley crew of dogs including Labrador Retrievers and Pitt Bull mixes. My pack includes senior aged dogs through to young dogs. I have dedicated the last couple years to fostering dogs and absolutely fallen in love pivoting my world in the direction of companion pets. I have also worked at a local doggie daycare and volunteer often with my dogs as control dogs in a local dog training group's reactive rover class. I currently work part time in a local dog park as well. Needless to say, I encounter all types of dogs throughout my day and love learning their unique personalities. I have studied dogs at length with my personal pack, in training classes, with my dog centered jobs, and I continue to enjoy deep discussions on dog body language to learn even more! Dogs are fascinating animals to me, and I adore learning more to better communicate with them. I have a flexible schedule currently. I work part time at a local dog park in the afternoons during the week, and volunteer by fostering dogs. I have a fenced in yard and friendly dogs at home that are social and enjoy playing with new pups, proven with the foster pups I bring home. My pack is excellent communicators with other dogs and help draw out shy dogs and teach them how to dog. Dogs are welcome on the furniture (couch and bed) in my home. New dogs through foster or dog sitting sleep in a crate for naps during the day and at night out of an abundance of caution for safety.
About: Hello, my name is Amanda! I would be honored to provide peace of mind, knowing your home &/or pets are safe and cared for, while you are away, during the day or longer. I offer drop in visits, dog walking, doggy daycare, boarding and house sitting. Additionally, I have experience taking care of my parent's diabetic cat, when they went out of town, which included giving him insulin shots twice a day, so I am comfortable with some medical needs' animals. My cat, Penny, is technically a senior cat, and she remains very healthy and happy! I also have experience taking care of my friends' senior dogs overnight when her and her family went out of town. As well as my own senior dog, Bentley, who has passed away. It has been a few years, but my heart is still too broken to think about welcoming a dog into my home for forever, but I so miss having a dog's company, so, temporary will have to do for now! I know just how much I loved my dog and wanted to protect him and keep him happy & healthy as long as possible, and I promise to treat your pets the same. I was also the proud owner of 4 chickens when I lived in Florida. They were the greatest entertainment! By the time I moved to Michigan, there was sadly only one remaining chicken, I didn't want to confuse her with the weather change, so of course she became a house chicken. She got to live her last two years living inside the house, cozy as can be, with me, my dog & cat. We all loved it! Long story short, I'm also available for some farm animal sitting. I promise to keep them out of your house! Unless... I would love to chat with you about your pets and your situation, and see if I can be of any assistance to you! Thank you so much! Talk soon! I would really love for pet care to become my full time work, and at this time I have open availability, in order to achieve that. I have a fully fenced yard and no off-limit spaces in my home, your pets will be treated as my own, while in my care!
About: I've always loved being around animals and understand the trust it takes to leave your furry family members with someone new. I'm highly responsible, attentive to detail, and will treat your pets with the same love and care as if they were my own. As a university student with a very open schedule right now, I have plenty of free time to dedicate to your pets! I am available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and boarding, and can easily adapt to your furry friend's daily routine. I am highly detail-oriented and meticulous when it comes to your pet's safety. I double-check all gates, doors, and leashes, and I strictly follow your specific care instructions to maintain a secure, stress-free environment for your furry best friend.
About: Dogs and cats have been part of my family my whole life! I have also been a dog sitter for over 10 years. A few years ago, my husband and I raised 6 puppies from birth until they went to their new homes at 10 weeks. We currently have three dogs: Ash (Siberian Husky), Koda (Australian Shepherd), and Hickory (Husky-Australian Shepherd mix) who we love to play with, take for walks, and run around in the backyard. I'm currently off for the summer so I have a lot of time at home. I will let the dogs out every 2-4 hours when away but they will be out roaming the house when I am home. Dogs are welcomed in all rooms and on beds and furniture in the home. I have a large fenced in yard and three dogs to keep your pup company. We live in a dog friendly community and near a nature preserve for long walks and hikes.
“I can’t say enough great things about Katherine and her lovely pups/cats! She was incredibly attentive to my pup, communicated clearly and consistently, and truly went above and beyond to care for Percy. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring sitter.”

About: I have owned dogs all my life including active, high energy ones. Australian cattle dog, border collie, Australian shepherd and Labrador. I have watched family, friends and neighbors dogs including feeding, walking, hiking, training, medication dispensing, bathing, mental stimulation and lots of snuggles. I am an empty nester and my husband is a pilot (gone for extended periods of time). I work from home as an accountant. I love dogs and cats. I have ample time to spare and need the physical activity myself. I can have a pet in my home or come to your home. I can do overnights, walks, hikes, I am mature and understand the importance of routine with animals especially when their person is away.
“McKensi was super awesome with my dogs! Lots of pictures and updates during my pups first daycare, and made me very comfortable that he was safe and loved during his stay! Will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have had pets my whole life and love to spend time and play with all animals. I have been dog and cat sitting for 8 years for coworkers and friends. I have a 5 year old Catahoula Hound mix that I adopted from the SPCA! When I house sit he does need to come with me. He has never had issues with other dogs or cats. I am a medical assistant during the week for Bronson and would love to spend time with animals on the weekends or after work playing or going for walks. I make a point to let the animal smell and come to me. It is their environment and they don't know me yet! Once they are comfortable I love to get on the ground and play.
“I had a great experience with Jaime! She was quick to respond and worked with me to find a time that suited both our schedules. She arrived on time, was incredibly sweet with my dog, and really took the time to connect with her. It was clear she genuinely cared and made sure all of her needs were met. I would definitely recommend her and will continue to use her services moving forward!”

About: (if in need of a "constant care" visit, please mention that in your request so we can discuss that rate). Experience with puppies and senior dogs. It feels great making sure a pet is well-cared for and happy. I have a client who is gone quite often and care for her animals several times a month. During the work-week, I still offer to stop in on my brother's animals. I've prioritized leash training and am accustomed to going on many walks per day as well as providing tasks to keep dogs happy and healthy.
About: Your pets deserve the best and you shouldn't have to settle for anything less. I have taken care of cats and dogs of all sorts, whether they be energetic, laid back, nervous and shy, or total goofballs. When my friends and family go out of town, I'm the person they call to watch their fur babies. I am reliable, loving, patient, thorough, and considerate of your home, expectations, and needs. I am currently working a part-time job that is 3 days a week, so I am looking to fill my time with walks, fetch, and cuddles! I am happy to comply with however you typically do things with your pets. I am experienced with dog training commands, crate training, and dog body language.
About: I have had pets of many kinds almost my entire life and many friends have entrusted me with the care of their pets while away. My friend who ran a successful rescue trusts me with her medically complex rescues. I follow whatever instructions are there with special attention paid to any medications that need to be given or other special details. I'm a freelancer that spends too much time sitting while I work. I'm very excited to add more walks into my life and a bit more out of the house time taking care of your furry friends when you need! In your home I will do everything in my power to take good care of your four legged friend. Whether that means medicating them at the right times, chilling on the couch for a bit of snuggling, or playing fetch in the backyard (or living room) until the exciteable animal is a little more chill from getting energy out.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I used to assist my mom in breeding and have been pet sitting for family and friends for many years. I currently have a bulldog of my own and a leopard gecko. I work full time but I have my own dog so I can easily make sure our furry friends are well taken care of and looked after when your away! I can easily follow whatever your furry friends schedule is, whether it’s putting them in a crate to keep them safe and secure or making sure they are safe roaming through the house while your away!
About: I just love pets … and want to take care of yours as my own! I have either owned or had a pet in my life … ALL of my life! I do know what it takes to love and care for them and take this responsibility seriously 😊. I am a retired Army guy of 34 years and this is just a next opportunity for me to help those in the community that need someone to entrust their fur baby to someone and honored it could be me! Please note, I am currently only doing a maximum of 6 nights for sits, thanks for your consideration! Just again a retired army guy that has a fair amount of flexibility and doing this as a fun gig job … if the dates and times work for both of us then great, if not I hope I can align with you another time! We currently are taking care of our ‘granddog’, Larry the Corgi. Larry has a partially fenced yard but has been trained to stay in yard while we are out with him. We have also had huskies which of course needed a fenced in yard so we also had that for their safety as runners! Both dogs each walked on leashes, he plenty of playtime outside with other dogs, and provided safe and comfy sleeping places in and out! Our fur babies where treated like family and look forward to treating yours as the same per YOUR guidance and preferences
About: I've been around dogs my whole life, as many of us have. I think what sets me apart is patience and experience providing medical care for elder pets. I'd be delighted to care for your family members. An open, flexible schedule allows me to care for pets any evening, for any weekend. Willing and able to assist clients with medication administration to pets on a strict schedule. Patience and consistency is key to quality pet care. I vow to respect the home of all of my clients, and provide the best service I can.
About: There have been several points in my life where my mother or my father have owned more that one of a certain animal at once. I’ve grown up around dogs with my mother, namely pit-bulls and schnauzers, and my father currently owns 9 cats. Since I was the one who wanted a lot of these animals (besides the cats those were all my fathers doing) I took care of them! If we were to branch out to animals beyond cats and dogs that i’ve taken care of, I’ve owned rats and take care of a fish pond at a frequent clients house! I have an extremely free schedule as i’m an artist and love the company of a furry friend around whenever i’m relaxing. I am extremely flexible with scheduling and thorough with my job, I want to do well not only by the pets but by the owners too. I follow the directions i’m given VERY thoroughly. Doors in my home are closed throughout the day and I keep the floor clean, not only for myself but for other animals who are being dropped off at my home. This means that the living room and kitchen are the only open spaces they’d be walking into without a member of my home with them.

About: I have had animals all my life! Currently have a 8-month old German Shepard, and 2-year old Shepard, making it two German shepherds in my household! I have went through two separate, puppy training clinics with my own dogs! I have another full time job that I work - however it is quite flexible and am looking to fill my time doing other things as well. I currently live in an apartment, so I do not offer in home sitting. With my German Shepards, we go to the onsite dog park daily, and they are my trail running partner!

About: I grew up with pets and currently have my own 4 fur babies at home! I own my home with a fenced in yard! I can watch your dog in my home if you prefer but do not mind staying over if that is what you would like! I offer walking services as well if that is what your fur baby needs during the day. I do allow my pets on the furniture and bed but can keep yours off if you would prefer! Being crate trained is not necessary and I can help with potty training for any puppies that will be in my care. I do have a full time 9-5 job but I can easily leave at lunch for any potty breaks your fur babies will need! I do work full time 9-5 every day but I can leave for lunch to let your fur baby outside or give meds if needed! I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in! I stay outside with them while they do business to ensure safety. Playtime is a necessity so we will have multiple times a day to play outside with a tennis ball or go for walks
About: Hi my name is Christie and I am a huge Animal Lover! To me, dogs and cats aren’t just animals they are lifelong companions. 💕 I have many years of experience caring for a multitude of animals (30+ to be exact). As a kid, we had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds you name it. In high school, I worked for a groomer and learned a lot about how to properly care for different animals. I've always had a passion for rescuing because of my mom and her love of rescuing/saving animals in need of a home. It’s something that she passed down to me. RIP Momma I Miss You! ❤️🩹 My philosophy is that every animal deserves to know what love is in its fullest form so that is what I strive to provide to each and every animal in my care. We have a 2 beautiful rescue cats Bella and Lio as well as a 2 year old rescue dog named Nova. They are my furrkids, my companions, my therapy animals, and my little loves. 🐾🩷 As a self-employed cosmetologist, I am blessed with a flexible schedule which allows me the opportunity to be here to help care for your pet companions in the best ways possible. I have references available from those whose animals I have cared for previously that I will happily provide. Exercise is important to me so we like to spend time taking the animals we care for on long walks or hikes, swimming, or to the park to chase a ball or frisbee. I strive to give them the love and play time that they need and deserve. 🫶🏻 I am currently self-employed so I’ll have lots of time to dedicate to your furbaby/furbabies. I’m dedicated to making sure your pet feels loved and accepted in our home. We love to have lots of playtime fun. We teach tricks and go for daily walks, play fetch, and support lots of playtime. Daily snuggles and love are a must!!
