“Communicated well. I always seem to plan trips during the worst weather but she always gets to the house during requested times which was important since one of the cats needed insulin.”

About: I have two amazing cats at home that I’ve helped take care of since we brought them home at 11 weeks from the shelter. I’ve loved taking care of shelter cats and strays, entrusted by my family and friends, throughout my years in college as well! I’m currently home for the summer before leaving for my full-time job in fall. So my schedule is completely open to take care of pets! I’m able to stay for extended periods of times and multiple stop bys. I have extensive experience taking care of different aged pets with varying backgrounds. I love playing, cuddling, or just existing in the same space to provide company!
“Sarah is the very best! She is caring, thorough, patient and professional. I am always confident she will handle every aspect of my puppy and kitty’s care with love and professionalism. I give her my highest recommendation.”

About: Hello! My name is Garin and I’m a happy business owner as well as avid movie buff and traveler. If hired I promise to take the best care possible of your beloved furry ones whenever the time is needed! As a business owner I have unique flexibility for pet’s different needs and am available just about anytime even last minute and on some holidays We have a beloved cat Clover that mostly hangs out in our room and has a comfortable playpen when we take longer trips that we can’t bring her on. When caring for client pets we usually attempt minimal routine disruption and treat the pets as if they were our own on our own schedule
“Nicole was absolutely amazing with our two dogs, Tucker and Ruby! They each have very different personalities, and she handled them both with such care and confidence. I felt totally comfortable knowing they were in her hands — and it was clear they were well cared for and loved. Communication was great, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. I would absolutely book with Nicole again!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has been caring for pets since I was 14 years old. Over the years, I’ve helped care for dogs, cats, and other animals for friends, family, and neighbors, and I truly treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I understand how important it is to feel confident and comfortable leaving your pet with someone you trust. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and loving while also following your pet’s routine and needs closely. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a calm and safe presence, I’m happy to provide care that fits their personality. I’m comfortable with pets of different ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I’m happy to communicate regularly with updates and photos so you always know how your furry family member is doing. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work part-time and am currently completing my master’s degree online, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be home often. This flexibility allows me to provide consistent attention, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the day rather than pets being left alone for long periods. When pets stay in my home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment where they can feel relaxed and cared for. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and rest. I know consistency helps pets feel secure, especially when they are away from their owners. I provide plenty of attention, supervision, and affection based on each pet’s personality and comfort level. Whether a pet enjoys being active and playful or prefers a quieter, relaxed environment, I adjust my care to meet their needs. I also make sure pets always have access to fresh water, a clean environment, and a safe space to rest. I take safety very seriously and monitor pets closely while they are in my care. I am happy to follow any specific instructions, including medications, crate routines, or special care requests. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident and reassured while they are away.
“Heather was amazing!! First time using Rover's services, so I was a little unsure of the process, but Heather was very patient and willing to go the extra mile. Sent photos every day! Will absolutely be asking her to catsit again in the future.”

About: Your pets deserve the best and you shouldn't have to settle for anything less. I have taken care of cats and dogs of all sorts, whether they be energetic, laid back, nervous and shy, or total goofballs. When my friends and family go out of town, I'm the person they call to watch their fur babies. I am reliable, loving, patient, thorough, and considerate of your home, expectations, and needs. I am currently working a part-time job that is 3 days a week, so I am looking to fill my time with walks, fetch, and cuddles! I am happy to comply with however you typically do things with your pets. I am experienced with dog training commands, crate training, and dog body language.
“Excellent caring service, above and beyond! My dogs loved him and I received lots of updates. They acted as if I had never left when I arrived home. Thank you, Jordan and Luna!”

“Very grateful to Libby for caring for our cat on house visits while we were away. She jumped in last minute, was super communicative, adapted to our cat’s needs, and clearly won her over immediately. Highly recommend!”

“Maggie was a great pet friend and care taker to our elderly cat! She was a quick and friendly communicator and made an instant connect with our often times standoffish fur baby. We appreciated the text updates and report cards so much. We will definitely ask her to care for Spot again in the future!”

About: I’ve always had animals in the home. As well as working 4 years in a vet clinic that accepted walk ins and then working in an emergency veterinary clinic for 2 years which I loved. Trying the stay at home mom thing while also fulfilling my passion of taking care of pets. I am currently a stay at home mom who has tons of time to run around while you’re working or on vacation. When you cant be there, I can! I can come over to let pup out to go potty, I can also stay and play to release some more energy. I will give every animal lots of attention while I am in the home and will cuddle them like they’re used to.
About: With all the love I have for my friends' fury babies, I feel that I can share the love with all fury babies in the city of Kalamazoo. I would love to own a puppy of my own, but my living situation doesn't allow for it. Life is crazy and if I can help take a small weight off your shoulders, it would be a win-win situation. Not only will you not have to worry about your four-legged friend, but I will enjoy spending time getting to know your dog. Being a recent college graduate taking a year off before attending graduate school, scheduling will not be an issue. God gave us two hands to pet two dogs at once. I would love to love your babies!

Elizabeth was such an amazing dog sitter! From the meet and greet through the last visit, my dog and I both felt so comfortable with her. She is super friendly, communicative and went the extra mile while we were away. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, reliable and knowledgeable person to watch their fur babies. Will definitely be booking with her again in the future!

This was our second time booking Brennan, and it was an easy yes to hire him again. My wife and I were tied up with childcare, and Brennan stepped in seamlessly. Our dog genuinely loves him, and the care, attention, and reliability were just as great as the first time. Highly recommend. We’ll be booking again

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
