About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life! Experienced all ages and kinds. I’m also experienced in cat care as well as kittens. I’ve raised livestock since age 10! I relish human connections, but I have a deep passion for connecting with animals. I am highly adaptable when it comes to caring for your furry companion. I have a cat who needs his own space. I live in a large house with multiple levels and rooms, and I’m more than willing to make adjustments to accommodate him. My cat takes medication daily, and I’m knowledgeable about animal behavior.
“Christi took exceptional care of my puppers while I was out of town. She was fantastic. The check in cards were a great feature, Christi gave updates and photos during visits. Knowing my fur family was in good hands provided the peace of mind I needed. I would choose Christi as my pup sitter any day!”

About: I bring 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. I’m an active person who loves long walks and can even keep up with high-energy dogs on runs. As a medical student, I’m attentive, responsible, and quick to notice changes in behavior or health, so your dog is always in safe, capable hands. Above all, I’m kind, dependable, and treat every dog like my own My schedule is flexible! I’m available on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays, and since I work rotating shifts, I often have full weeks off where I can offer even more daytime availability. I tailor my care to each dog’s routine and needs. For walks and drop-ins, I focus on making sure dogs get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention—whether that’s long walks, playtime, or even a run for higher-energy pups. For sitting, I aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m attentive to behavior and comfort, and I always prioritize safety, communication, and making sure your dog feels happy and cared for while you’re away.
About: I have been taking care of all sorts of animals my whole life. I used to have a small farm. I have experience with dogs of all sizes. I work part time from home. I can bring your dog out at any time, for walks and I’m available for boarding anytime. Also kids to play with them. I have 3 friendly dogs, cats and kids so your furry babies will have company so they don’t get lonely. They will be loved and well cared for.
About: Hello! My name is Arica. I have been taking care of pets for many years. I love animals, especially dogs. I don’t have any kids and most of my time is spent at home. I do have a job but it is all remote and I can control the days and hours I work. I will treat your fur babies like my own and will make sure your house is looking as good as you left it. If you agree to let me take care of your babies I will do the best in my power to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Message me if you have any questions. Thank you 😊 I work for a company that is remote. I have full control of the scheduling and when I work. So there would be no problem fitting it in to my routine! I make sure to treat them like family. I take care of the home as well. I would follow all of owners guidelines for walks, crating, and administering medication. Always making sure your pup is safe, having a tight hold onto leashes when walking!
“Farrell came and helped take Jaxon out and care for him while I was away and she did a fantastic job! Great at communicating, sharing photos and updates. 100% would book her again!”

“Kierra was exceptional! She was on time, attentive, and our dogs really loved her! She didn’t just “check the box” for the drop in visits- she really spent time with the dogs. We will ask for her services again in the future!”

“Savannah was an amazing solution to my fairly last minute request to feed, walk and play with my pup. She was extremely professional and clearly great with dogs. She gave us updates via text and sent multiple pictures of our pup to let us know everything was okay. I would definitely recommend her services and will book her again the next time I need dog sitting services!”

About: I've had dogs for as long as I can remember. My dad used to help help run a rescue for several years, and we had many dogs of varying breeds and ages in our home. I currently have one dog named Alvin who was born in 2022. He is a yellow lab with a lot of energy! I am venturing into the working world, and this is my only role. My availability is wide open and I'm willing to help when needed! I have a small fenced in area under our deck where my dog relieves himself. I go for walks and there is a dog park very close to the house. My dog has extreme crate anxiety, so he isn't created. I am comfortable helping to ensure your pet is created as necessary.
About: I've grown up my entire life surrounded by pets. I absolutely love animals, dogs and cats especially. I've spent the last year looking after the pets of fellow family and friends and worked my way up to watching for fellow residents in my city and cities nearby. I'm a full-time employee in a K-12 public school and a part-time student at Wayne State University. My college schedule is flexible, and I still have plenty of time during the day to help. Back home I would feed and water my pets every morning, take them for a walk if the weather was nice, and play games such as fetch. For my clients I will do have your pets fed at the desired time you prefer. I spend time playing with them, giving them the attention they deserve, and a walk.
About: I've been taking care of critters of all sorts since childhood. I grew up with cats, then when I was deemed responsible enough a slew of guinea pigs, hamsters and a ferret. During my adult years I've rescued, and rehomed more then a dozen cats. I'm also a bit of a dog lover; I've dealt with behavioral issues, doggys that need more training and a couple aggressive canines. My current pup has anxiety issues, I consider myself a bit of a master in getting all dogs to love me. I enjoy going on walks, and do appreciate being able to give your pet some happiness while their favorite human is away. My schedule is mostly open, I do have my own pup that does need my attention but I'm currently not working, and in a transitional state. my own pets eat better then I do. They are more spoiled then most children, I do appreciate getting to play and taking them for walks. It's all based on your animals need of care. I've had clients who's dog would overheat and go into seizures (thankfully never with me) but we'd throw the ball until you could tell she was warm and then go inside for a break. Play is dependant on the animal, but I do enjoy taking them for walks or throwing the ball!
“If I could leave ten stars I would. Halle is simply the most intuitive, most attentive, and most caring sitters that my two cats have had the pleasure of spending time with. I cannot recommend Halle more favorably!”

“Elli is awesome and provided great care for our kitties! She was communicative, attentive, and kept in contact with us! We are the type who loves pictures for peace of mind😍 Elli always sent these after each visit. She was wonderful, and we will not hesitate to use her again.”

Jadeyn was great! Super kind and had good communication. She helped us out with lunch time check in’s for the week. She took cute pictures and left thoughtful updates every day showing that she spent quality time with our dog and cat for the full 30 mins. They were happy and calm each day when we got home from work.

Avery kindly accepted a last minute request to watch my dog and did an amazing job! She was communicative, super friendly and sent lots of cute photos of my fur baby. She even went the extra mile to bring in some packages that were delivered while we were away. I would definitely rebook again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Kalamazoo with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
