I moved to the Kalamazoo area from Tampa, FL, where I worked as a full-time veterinary assistant for several years. Additionally, I have accumulated hundreds of hours volunteering at animal shelters. Between these, I have developed skills that allow me to be comfortable caring for all kinds of animals, and allow me to help those with specific needs, such as medication/fluid administration, first-aid, aggression/anxiousness, puppy/kitten/senior care, etc. I also offer pet-sitting for other types of animals, including hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, ducks, lizards, turtles and more. It's important to me to be patient and understanding with any animal. I have no issue interacting with animals who may be reactive, anxious, aggressive, or all of the above.

Cared for our dog on short notice. Was attentive and he seemed to enjoy to visits on long stretches at home. Highly reccommend!
Dominique was awesome. I was nervous about leaving my small kitten for the first time. The pictures shared each day made us feel like we never left. She took time to play and care for both cats, even though one is a little grumpy. I would recommend Dominique to anyone looking for the best possible pet sitter!

We had a last minute scramble for an out of town trip and had just adopted our dog from the local pound. Our long standing pet sitter retired and since we hadn’t had a fur kid in a while we had no contacts for help. I wasn’t leaving him in a kennel given the situation. So, we had a friend stay the night who could take care of the majority, but needed someone to let our dog out and play a bit during the day. I found rover and jumped on to find someone. We got a message from two sitters and diplomatically just went with the first person who messaged. We did a meet and greet, Our new dog liked her, so we took a chance. We did a two visits per day schedule. We just needed someone to roughly keep our times by showing up & be kind. Everything went smooth. No worries. We even got pictures! I would hands down rebook. Prompt, worked with our schedule, dog loved her, experienced, handled our pibble and his quirks… need I say more? We have found the best! We will absolutely rebook!
Always sends lots of pics playing with our dog! Love to see how happy he looks and how much fun he’s having!

Schedule
I am now pet-sitting full-time, which allows my schedule to remain fairly flexible. I am also open to same-day requests, as well as any other last-minute requests or needs.
