“Christi took exceptional care of my puppers while I was out of town. She was fantastic. The check in cards were a great feature, Christi gave updates and photos during visits. Knowing my fur family was in good hands provided the peace of mind I needed. I would choose Christi as my pup sitter any day!”

About: I've had dogs for as long as I can remember. My dad used to help help run a rescue for several years, and we had many dogs of varying breeds and ages in our home. I currently have one dog named Alvin who was born in 2022. He is a yellow lab with a lot of energy! I am venturing into the working world, and this is my only role. My availability is wide open and I'm willing to help when needed! I have a small fenced in area under our deck where my dog relieves himself. I go for walks and there is a dog park very close to the house. My dog has extreme crate anxiety, so he isn't created. I am comfortable helping to ensure your pet is created as necessary.
“Savannah was an amazing solution to my fairly last minute request to feed, walk and play with my pup. She was extremely professional and clearly great with dogs. She gave us updates via text and sent multiple pictures of our pup to let us know everything was okay. I would definitely recommend her services and will book her again the next time I need dog sitting services!”

“Farrell came and helped take Jaxon out and care for him while I was away and she did a fantastic job! Great at communicating, sharing photos and updates. 100% would book her again!”

About: As a dedicated pet sitter in Kalamazoo, I offer personalized, loving care with a professional touch, combining my deep animal understanding, flexible scheduling, and genuine passion for creating a stress-free experience for both pets and owners. I currently work full-time, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, but my office is located five minutes from my home. My centrally located residence and flexible work schedule enable me to provide frequent, attentive care. Despite living in a condominium, I have immediate access to multiple outdoor spaces, including well-maintained courtyards and adjacent green areas, ensuring dogs receive consistent exercise, bathroom breaks, and high-quality interaction throughout the day. My urban environment allows for convenient, structured pet care that prioritizes the animal’s physical and emotional well-being. I have two cats, both of which are very friendly to other dogs and cats. Our cats are our first priority, and the health and wellbeing of your pet will be our first priority and guarantee.
“Rebekah is incredibly reliable and professional. She followed all of my feeding and medication instructions perfectly and kept the litter area spotless. I really appreciated her communication and punctuality. It’s a huge relief knowing my home and my pets are in such capable hands. I will definitely be booking Rebekah again!"”

“Carly is the BEST! She's reliable, my dogs love her, and has amazing communication. My kiddos are kind of a handful, and I feel so comfortable trusting that she'll take care of them. She gives great updates, provides pictures, spends time with my pups, and really amazing at what she does. She's definitely my go-to when the kids need care!”
About: I've grown up my entire life surrounded by pets. I absolutely love animals, dogs and cats especially. I've spent the last year looking after the pets of fellow family and friends and worked my way up to watching for fellow residents in my city and cities nearby. I'm a full-time employee in a K-12 public school and a part-time student at Wayne State University. My college schedule is flexible, and I still have plenty of time during the day to help. Back home I would feed and water my pets every morning, take them for a walk if the weather was nice, and play games such as fetch. For my clients I will do have your pets fed at the desired time you prefer. I spend time playing with them, giving them the attention they deserve, and a walk.
“Melissa is amazing! My kitten had been through a blood transfusion and needed to have liquid medication given twice a day. Melissa was eager and willing to help! Melissa ensured that my kitten was well cared for when my husband and I were out of town and she kept me well updated on everything and sent me some pictures to help with my anxiousness about leaving. We even found out that we would be getting home later and she was flexible and willing to come one more time to visit Henry in order to make sure he could get his medication before we arrived home. I would highly recommend choosing Melissa to watch over and care for your pet, I am very thankful for her!”

About: Hi! I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for about 7 years now, so I’m very comfortable with all kinds of pups—different sizes, ages, and personalities. I also have a 6-year-old dog of my own who I’ve raised since he was just 8 weeks old, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your dog. I treat every dog like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and care while you’re away. Whether your pup loves walks, cuddles, or just hanging out, I’m happy to match their routine and keep them comfortable and happy. I’ll also keep you updated so you can relax knowing your dog is in good hands! I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the day, including weekends. Whether you need early morning visits, midday check-ins, or evening care, I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine to make sure they get the attention and care they need! I primarily care for pets in my client’s home so they can stay comfortable in their own space and stick to their normal routine. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special needs or medications. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while keeping their environment clean and stress-free. I also respect your home and keep everything just as you left it. You can expect regular updates and photos so you know your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away!
“Emily was great with dropping in to check on Fudge the cat. She was very easy to work with and had rest flexibility of coordinating to meet before the visits. It’s clear from the photos that my cat took to her very well. Would book again!”

I am able to give the dog a short up to a longer walk. My current living situation has a cat in the house. I provide care for the kitten when its owner is gone for the week. I am able to clean the litter box, give water/food and play with the cat. I just finished up my first year of teaching ending early June. I am now available after 12 pm on the weekdays and most weekends (any time range). My job is to take care of your furry friends and your home. I plan to be explicit when I am able to give your pet care and I will make sure your house is secure before leaving the house. I am there to be providing a service to your animal and making sure it gets the care it deserves and needed.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a young girl. I have had two dogs growing up, a miniature schnauzer and a beagle. I have paid close attention to their every need, cared for them, played with them and of course made them feel loved. I have watched my neighbors dog while they were oh vacation. I have also taken care of my friends dogs. I am a dog mom and a lover of dogs who has a lot of experience taking care of them. I love it! I am currently working part time so I will have a lot of free time to care for, play with and walk dogs. They will have my attention and focus. I have a beagle who is one. There is space for them to play together and I live 2 minutes from a huge dog park where they can let out their energy and have even more space to run free. If you like your dog separated I can have mine in her gated area :)

About: I have had four dogs while growing up and of course, each one was so different. Throughout my 20+ years of living with animals, I have learned the ins and outs that come with them. I am a high energy and loving provider who has the patience and kindness to wait for your furry family member to get to know me. I love to hike, climb, run trails, swim and bask in the sun. Basically, I am your dogs next best friend while you're away. My motto in life is to help others and if I can alleviate some stress or worries in your world, it would be my pleasure to help. I love every type of dogs; large, medium, small - we will have fun no matter what!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
