About: Iâm super good with dogs and cats. I have 3 cats who I love! Iâm good with antisocial animals, I have a cat that is very much so a loner: I also have 2 cats that are very full of personality. I love to play with my cats and dogs! They are my world! My dog knows fetch and how to sit and she is only 4 months old! The pers are what is most important. I worked in hospitality for year. Not just for humans but also for pets. I worked in a hotel that allowed pets. They were also our guests and I treated them as so. This included feeding and walking occasionally upon their owners request. It has drawn me to this job and I look forward to spending time with your special pets!
âDaryle is kind, responsive and my Harley seemed to enjoy his stay. Much thanks to Daryle for helping out in a pinch when I couldn't care for my own pup while recovering from COVID vaccine reaction and my sweetheart was out of town.â

About: I grew up with dogs my entire upbringing. Had a Golden Retriever and Daschunds. Iâm a very reliable person and also willing to negotiate what works to your needs. Have had lots of experience with all different kinds breeds. Very knowledgeable about pets. Iâm a recent graduate and now working as a software engineer - looking for some walks and to spend time with your pet! Iâm working full time a software engineer. Iâm mostly remote during the week, but work on-site on Wednesdayâs. Iâm a good companion to have around pets! I live in a bottom floor apartment of a house in the Vine neighborhood. I do not have a fenced yard. I have one other roommate. If I care in a clients home, i usually bring things to do with me, so I can spend the appropriate amount of time needed with pets.

âNatasha was very accommodating to our travel delays. She sent lots of pictures and updates. Natasha is our #1 dog sitter. If you're wondering which Rover to book, you'll be so happy if you choose Natasha.â

âWe left our 1yr old and 2 yr old cat with her for the weekend while my family ( whoâs allergic to cats) came into town. She communicated with us, sent us a picture when possible, she was very respectful and understanding! She also responded very quickly as well which I appreciated since Iâve had my 1 year old cat since she was 8 weeks old and Iâve never left her with anyone before and we got our 2 yr old cat 3 months ago, but being in the loop made me feel better đ they seemed to have fun, so we definitely would come back!â

âReed and Natalie were great to work with. They were both very kind and worked with my dog that is a little kiddish around new people. They took the time to slowly get her to come out of her shell. They sent many text updates, photos and videos. This was my first time using Rover and I will definitely book with Reed and Natalie again!!â

âThis was the second time Sarah had watched our dog and we are still so happy with the care that Sarah provides. She was also very accommodating with a slight change in drop off/pick up time. We know he is well loved and enjoys playing with her dogs as well. So grateful to have found Sarah!â

âRuby just loves her time with Eva. Eva is patient and knows how to provide the best care for her. Ruby gets to have outside time with other animals and gets to snuggle. I will definitely be booking with Eva again.â

âBailey had a great stay with Maddy and her two dogs. Maddy was very flexible on drop off and pick up times. Pics sent. Dog was walked during the stay and came home very tired. We would definitely trust Maddy with watching our fur baby again!â
âLuke and his family went above and beyond caring for our Yogi. They have a large fenced in backyard and a host of other animal friends that Yogi fell in love with. Our Yogi has a tendency to pee on himself vs the ground and they bathed him before pickup. My toddler wouldnât stop asking us to smell the dog on the way home. Thank you Luke and family! We will use you every time we need to head West to Wisconsin.â

âBarb was fantastic! She sent updates and pictures and was so great to work with. Brownie had so much fun staying with her overnight. He came home and was exhausted from all of his playtime and fun! We will most definitely use her again in the future.â

About: I have grown up with large dogs and been dog sitting for a couple of years now and have been dog walking/day time taking care of. I enjoy walking, bathing, and caring for all dogs weather a puppy or an older pup. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to help with anything like boarding, walking in, housesitting, and everything in between. I am currently a student ant WMU and working some weekdays and weekends, topically 3-4 days a week as a server. I am available to dog sit over night on week days and weekends. I live in an apartment but that doesnât prevent enjoying spending time outdoors whether thatâs visiting local dog parks, exploring walking trails, or going on daily walks. My top priorities are always the safety, comfort, and well being of every pet in my care. I treat each dog as if they were my own and provide the same level of attention, patience, and care that I would want for my own pet, my dog Tater Tot is my little baby and I know the love for our furry companions. I follow each ownerâs instructions closely and work to create a positive, safe, and enjoyable experience for every dog!
âRex was a great sitter for my dog, Roo. He was communicative and gave me plenty of updates and pictures. Roo is always a little timid at Rover stays, so he made sure she had her own space and was introduced to the dogs slowly. She was also a happy girl (and not anxious at all) when I picked her up so I know she had a good time :)â

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Parchment
Ryan took care of my two dogs for an overnight stay at their home, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience. From the start, I felt completely secure leaving the girls in their care, which says a lotâespecially since one of my dogs is 13 and has a lot of feelings and specific needs. Ryan showed so much understanding, generosity, patience, and empathy with her, and it meant the world to me. The girls settled in quickly, and Ryan sent photos of them snuggling shortly after I left and continued sharing updates throughout their stay because they knew how important that would be to me. Ryan never made me feel like my questions, check-ins, or verifications were too muchâin fact, they reassured me many times (even saying âdata is my jamâ đ), which made the whole experience feel easy and supportive. When I picked the girls up, they were excited to see me, but once I sat down with Ryan to talk through how everything went, they quickly settled againâwhich told me they truly felt comfortable and safe there. Itâs very clear Ryan genuinely cares for the dogs they watch and treats them like their own. I had absolutely no concerns while the girls were with them, and Ryan will absolutely be our go-to resource from here on out. Iâm so grateful we found them.

We cannot say enough good things. They have taken wonderful care of our two dogs and have been consistently amazing hosts. The dogs get excited when we pull in and seem genuinely happy to be staying with them. We appreciate the regular picture updates, giving us peace of mind. Theyâve been flexible and helpful when weâve had delays or travel disruptions. Overall, we could not recommend them more highly and plan to continue using them as our dog sitters indefinitely.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Roverâs reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
