“Alexia is a super dog person and goes extra miles, literally, to care for my canine. I thought Tilda might be coming down with an UTI when I left her with Alexia. We discussed that possibility and stayed in contact about how she was behaving. The call came Friday evening that Tilda wasn’t getting better. Long story short, Alexia took Tilda to her vet on Saturday morning and confirmed the infection and started her on two prescriptions for the rest of the weekend. Alexia was gracious to extend the extra care and Tilda was feeling much better at pick up time. Thank you so much Alexia.”

They get potty breaks, playtime, and fenced-yard fun, and if I’m at work, crating is never more than 4 hours, with breaks on lunch or as needed. Your pet will be my main focus for the duration of their stay whether it be training or sitting. The same goes for sitting or training in your home as well. I adapt well to new houses, don’t mind cats as well. I like to keep clean around the house, and I do offer deep cleaning as an extra.

Drop off and pick up times are flexible. I am a retired school teacher with flexibility to give your dog a good experience. About: Hello! I am a second year veterinary student at the University of Illinois. I am home in MI with my parents for the summer, so I’d love to care for your pet(s) while you’re away. I have experience with dogs and cats of all temperaments and energy levels. I am also Fear Free certified, so I pride myself on providing comfortable visits. I will be in the Battle Creek area from June through August. Come August, I will be in the Champaign, IL area. My daily/weekly schedule is fairly open as I do not have a current job. My pets are allowed on furniture. However, I will respect whatever rules you have in place with your pet. I tend to do an outside break every 2-4 hours depending on weather, but in the summer most days are spent outside. I feed my dog on a 2 meal schedule, but can accommodate the pet(s) normal meal routines.
