About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, that led me to working in veterinary offices in high school and college years. Owned daycares for 15 years and in retirement I’m looking to get back to caring for animals. If you have an older pet with extra care needs is not a problem for me. In your home care available for minimal distruptiin to your pets life or your dog can join my pack for a dog park like experience! I’m on 3.5 wooded lot so most dogs are happy to stay near the home and watch the chickens. I can put an electric fence collar on any if parent feels they are runners. Lol. Retired and home most days. Gone some evenings for social things. I love being outside myself and dogs go in and out multiple times a day. I live on 3.5 acre wooded lot. House being tucked back in the woods means most dogs don’t try to run. If anything the dogs go for the chickens but no one has caught one yet! Lol. We have an electric fence collar to put on with owner’s permission. Do have cats in the home but they can be separated from main house area if a dog doesn’t like them. Otherwise coming to our house is like a day at the dog park with friends galore! Golden mom and son duo are always here and very sweet. Moose is 3 and still full of play! Rilee is slowing down but has her times where she jumps in the action. She is known to put herself between dog arguments and settle that nonsense before I make it across the yard. I understand dog behavior and pack pecking order well and can help new dogs find their comfort zone in group settings. We don’t crate ours but happy to crate any pups that are use to that.

About: I grew up with many cats and dogs through the years. Since living on my own I’ve had two dogs and two cats. Even when living at home it was just me and my mom so I did most of the animal care. I work 3 nights a week at Borgess and looking to work on my days off! I can’t work a set schedule because my own schedule varies but I’m willing to do what I can for you. I have one dog Winnie who is very calm and gentle and great helping pets adjust. My family says I have a “sixth sense” with animals because I can get just about any living thing to trust me. I just really love animals and need some extra money!

Erin N.

“Erin has a lot of experience with Animals and is very reliable. Bailey seems very comfortable with her new friend!”

Hannah J.

“Hannah was great with Beau when I had to leave town on short notice. She came by at the requested time, played with Beau in the backyard and gave him so much love. She also brought in a package and took a bunch of pictures! Would definitely recommend.”

Dani R.
“Dani was beyond helpful in watching my pugs and cat! She sent me pictures through the duration and I came back to a spotless, clean home. It looked better than how I left it! Will definitely book with Dani again!”

Anika K.
“Anika has an extraordinary ability to make pets and people feel deeply loved and cared for. She is kind, diligent and an excellent communicator. She takes exceptional care of her dog and other peoples’. Her compassion makes her one of the few people I’d hire to care for my pups. You can rest assured that your fur baby is well taken care of with her.”

Ashley G.

“Leaving my fur family behind while traveling causes great anxiety for me... hoping that they're properly being cared for while away. Ashley was super friendly, extremely communicative and sent the best pictures every day. As long as she's around, I will continue to hire her every time I need to leave town. Thank you Ashley!!”

About: I have been involved with dogs (specifically rescues) for my entire life. I have helped take care of my dogs for as long as I can remember. I was around 12 when I started taking care of my very own dog. My schedule is always flexible! The only issues that may come into play are the possibility of working a part time job at some point in the near future. I would prefer to keep pets in their own environment until they are more comfortable with me as a person and once I gain some trust. Just so they feel more at ease with a new person!

Destiny E.

“Destiny was wonderful with our cats. She was friendly and extremely helpful. She also kept us updated on things around the house. Our more social cats were happy for the company. First time having anyone look after our pets thru Rover and very pleased.”

Grace S.

“I’m so grateful to work with Grace! She’s very communicative and prompt and kind, and my cat is in greats hands with her. Thank you, Grace! 🥰”

Kaitlyn S.
“Kaitlyn has been watching my pets, including my dogs and cat, for years now. She has always done a wonderful job. I can’t express how much I recommend Kaitlyn as a pet caregiver.”

Omayra M.
“She loves all things furry and four legged! She would always keep my pup fully fed and tired out while I was at work. In no time my dog fell in love with her and her joyful attitude.”

Ryan T K.

“Ryan is amazing with both our big dogs. They just adore her! The real kicker was Bean (our mean old cat) took an immediate shine to her. 10 out of 10 stars dogs, cats, and humans agree! We will for sure be using Ryan again.”

Tracy M.

“We appreciate Tracy's help with our pup!”

Elizabeth S.

“Elizabeth was great! She kept me updated during her visits with my 2 cats and seemed to enjoy her time with them.”

About: Ive been hired to work with animals since 2016, I always knew I wanted to care for animals since I was young. I absolutley loved saving wildlife with my mother, rehabiltating them and releasing them back into the wild. I spent summers completing chores at my grandparents who had 16+ cats. I have experience working with smaller animals such as hamsters, rats, rabbits, chinchillas, and birds. I turned my love for animals into a career after highschool, hired as a veterinairy assitant positions throughout the state of Michigan. I own a Great Pyranees named Max. I rescued him from a boarding situation when he was 2 years old. He has been with me throughout my journey and is currently 7 years old. I also have experience in grooming, as I have been grooming Max myself monthly for the last 5 years. I am always willing to take on an animal in need of love and care. During this time I am mainly focused on schooling. I want to become a veterinairy technician (vet nurse). In clients home I will ensure your animals are comfortable, fed, always have water, and will never be bored while im there! I am a certified fear free proffessional. Making a stress free enviroment for every animal is very important to me.
