About: Hi! I’m Jeff I currently have 8yo black/white male Husky named Thorik and a 5yo red/white female Husky named Willow. Willow is actually my sisters dog and stays with her, but her and Thorik are together every day out at our family’s place. They are both well balanced dogs and will get along with anyone who decides to come for a visit. They will kiss you to death though so be prepared! I live on my family’s 180 acre old farm in the country just outside of the Otsego/Alamo area. I am out there every single day, especially in the Summer months, so that Thorik has a safe place to play and swim if he wants. Should you decide to book with me, and with your permission, your pets can enjoy unlimited fenced in yard time along with as much swimming as they’d like! I currently work for a Petcare provider here in Kalamazoo. My week consist of multiple visits for multiple clients a day, this does however allow me plenty of time throughout the day to return home and take care of anything I need to, your pets included! Out at the farm I do have a fenced in backyard away from the road that provides the dogs, a safe, secure place to play. Any time the dogs are not outside playing, or they are at my apartment in the evenings, they are inside the house with me free to do as they please.
About: I have had dogs in my life for 57 years. I have had 2 miniature poodles and 2 standard poodles. I have trained them all. I currently do door dash part-time. I have plenty of time to take care of your loved pet. I have time to walk your dog, play with your dog and even train your dog if you’d like. I have a nice yard, and I live in a beautiful modular home park. We have a dog park here for your dog to play.

I also housesat and petsat for a family with a large Weimaraner who had special needs (nervous problems especially) in Kalamazoo, Michigan that I had to be extra sensitive and mindful to. (Each of these families both kept me on for multiple years, depending on my location at the time.) CATS (very experienced and skilled with cats - my knowledge of them is above and beyond, as I have 2 of my own myself, both rescues.) (2) Rabbits - one was my roommates; the other belongs to a very close friend and her Husband. I am experienced feeding them and I have knowledge of their temperaments and needs. Reptile experience: 2 Snakes (I am not comfortable feeding them mice, however, sorry about that, but I am experienced with humidifying their environments and checking up on them - fearlessly!) Please just ask me! :) My Mom passed away last summer and I decided to move back home to Michigan and take a year off to tend to my Father, being that I’m an only child and he’s my only family left. I am grateful to be back home in Michigan, and I’d like to utilize my free time wisely - pet sitting / house sitting / spending time with animals brings me peace and joy! My career consisted of a tremendous amount of safety and security tasks. I am a reputable individual with drive and passion and I love connecting with people. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies!!! I am available in the greater West Michigan area. If you are not in Kalamazooo, I am more than willing to travel to you for a small fee, depending how far it takes for me to drive to you. I want you to be at comfort and ease while you’re away, so I always ask for a little note about your expectations of me, your pet(s) feeding schedule, walking schedule and typical routes, what is ok/not ok in regards to (being on the furniture, offering treats, jumping on people - I don’t mind being jumped on at all by a cute dog, but if that’s something you’re trying to train your dog NOT to do, please note that, for example, so I can contribute to your training rather than mess it up. My home is open to dogs (only one at a time) who are OK being around my cat, Oliver. He has been acclimated with dogs.. and I would typically keep them separated if you want me to watch them in my home. I have an apartment, and we have a nice dog park.. but do keep in mind; I might have to fluctuate your fees depending on what adjustments I may need to make to my home or lifestyle to accommodate your pet in my home temporarily! In your home, I am very respectable and trustworthy (with plenty of references so you feel comfortable). I don’t mind doing light cleaning while I am in your space, I always clean up after myself and your pet while you are away. Again, any expectations of me? Just inform me! :)
