One of the best experiences I’ve had on the rover app. Quick response. I had to come to town for my grandpas funeral and I didn’t want to leave my dogs behind but needed someone to watch them so I could be fully present during the viewing and funeral service. Stephen and his two male cats made out 9-year-old tuxedo cat feel right at home. It was nice that his non-smoking home had a patio door that she could look out, and an extra carrier to bring all the pets to shelter in case of a tornado warning. We plan to use Stephen again for our little princess.

Jamie is great! Super easy to communicate with, listened to all concerns we had and wasn't phased by any. She has a lovely calm energy, and Loki felt very at ease with her. They sent pictures and updates and responded quickly to any questions. Definitely recommend!
Ryan took care of my two dogs for an overnight stay at their home, and I truly could not have asked for a better experience. From the start, I felt completely secure leaving the girls in their care, which says a lot—especially since one of my dogs is 13 and has a lot of feelings and specific needs. Ryan showed so much understanding, generosity, patience, and empathy with her, and it meant the world to me. The girls settled in quickly, and Ryan sent photos of them snuggling shortly after I left and continued sharing updates throughout their stay because they knew how important that would be to me. Ryan never made me feel like my questions, check-ins, or verifications were too much—in fact, they reassured me many times (even saying “data is my jam” 😊), which made the whole experience feel easy and supportive. When I picked the girls up, they were excited to see me, but once I sat down with Ryan to talk through how everything went, they quickly settled again—which told me they truly felt comfortable and safe there. It’s very clear Ryan genuinely cares for the dogs they watch and treats them like their own. I had absolutely no concerns while the girls were with them, and Ryan will absolutely be our go-to resource from here on out. I’m so grateful we found them.
We cannot say enough good things. They have taken wonderful care of our two dogs and have been consistently amazing hosts. The dogs get excited when we pull in and seem genuinely happy to be staying with them. We appreciate the regular picture updates, giving us peace of mind. They’ve been flexible and helpful when we’ve had delays or travel disruptions. Overall, we could not recommend them more highly and plan to continue using them as our dog sitters indefinitely.
