It feels great making sure a pet is well-cared for and happy. I have a client who is gone quite often and care for her animals several times a month. During the work-week, I still offer to stop in on my brother's animals. I've prioritized leash training and am accustomed to going on many walks per day as well as providing tasks to keep dogs happy and healthy.

About: I have had pets of many kinds almost my entire life and many friends have entrusted me with the care of their pets while away. My friend who ran a successful rescue trusts me with her medically complex rescues. I follow whatever instructions are there with special attention paid to any medications that need to be given or other special details. I'm a freelancer that spends too much time sitting while I work. I'm very excited to add more walks into my life and a bit more out of the house time taking care of your furry friends when you need! In your home I will do everything in my power to take good care of your four legged friend. Whether that means medicating them at the right times, chilling on the couch for a bit of snuggling, or playing fetch in the backyard (or living room) until the exciteable animal is a little more chill from getting energy out.

About: I have 2 dogs and a cat. I have been a multiple pet household for 20 years. I help my friends and neighbors with their pets when they are away. I have fostered dogs before and I have volunteered at the spca. I know how hard it is to find good pet sitters and would love to help others with this. About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've been lucky to parent dogs, cats, and horses, including two retired racing Greyhounds and a tuxedo cat who made me a certified cat person. Beyond my own, I've been caring for pets professionally (i.e., beyond friends and family) for more than 15 years, and after taking some time away while completing my PhD and living abroad, I'm excited to be back doing something I've always loved. In 2011, I started walking pups professionally in Chicago as a side gig during my breaks from tour managing for a band, which quickly turned into my dog-walking clients asking me to stay in their home with their pets while they were away. Over the span of just a few years, I built relationships with more than 30 clients, with most of them turning into repeat (and repeat and repeat!) clients. I've cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes and everything in between. I've also worked with many pets that required extra patience or specialized care. I've cared for senior pets, dogs < 1yo, a blind Australian Cattle Dog, a deaf cat, highly anxious and stranger-wary dogs, VERY stranger-wary cats, a Beagle with a seizure disorder, and pets receiving medication. I've also been the go-to sitter for a couple of families going through difficult times with their critters, including caring for their pets with terminal illnesses during their final days (both a black lab named Maggie and the sweetest deaf black cat named Sam) . Over the years, I've handled a few very unexpected situations as well. Whether it's a medical event requiring an unexpected trip to the veterinarian or even arriving to a cat drop-in visit to find that the apartment had experienced a break-in (in my Chicago days, which included working with police and gathering the terrified cats from the apartment stairwell), I've stayed calm, communicated clearly, and focused on keeping the critters safe and the clients informed. There have also been several occasions where I've extended my stay last-minute due to a client's canceled flight or interrupted travel plans. One of the biggest differences between my prior pet sitting days and now is my flexibility due to my remote work. When I pet sat extensively throughout Chicago, my tour managing days had ended and I worked a full-time 9-5 downtown. This was fine for my clients, as they had a similar schedule. But I now work fully remotely, so I have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to spend much more time with your pets throughout the day than I could years ago. I essentially do my best to work around your pet's normal routine. I'm happy to accommodate early mornings, evenings, or midday visits whenever possible. My goal is to make life feel as normal and stress-free as possible for your pets while you're away. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I'd expect someone to show mine, as I've also hired pet sitters over the years for my own critters. I follow your instructions (the more the better!), keep you updated with photos (lots!) and messages, and make sure your pets receive the same routines, rules, and attention they're used to (e.g., their feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, cuddle time, or simply keeping them company).

About: I love dogs and my father always had dogs around and I loved to walk them and play with them. I am gentle when I am dealing with a puppy but I am also very playful. I love the outdoors and going on long walks. I would love to become friends with a lot of friendly dogs that would love to become friends with me. I am outgoing and I am very active. I also work at a fast food restaurant at the moment and i am planning on going to Cleveland State University but my hours are very flexible. I got this app because I love interacting with animals especially dogs they are a guys best friend. But I am happy if you choose me to watch and play with you dog. I am currently working part time so if you communicate your needs I can accommodate my schedule for you. I am pregnant so I do have days where I have appointments but they aren’t too long but I will let you know ahead of time when booking with me. I live in an apartment but there is plenty of other places to walk as well as parks around me. Also I can do short car rides if your dog likes that as well.

About: Ive taken care of dogs and cats since i was able to walk. Ive petsit for family and friends. I raised 2 litters of puppies from birth I book with my fiance for safety reasons if doing overnight stays or house visits I am currently unemployed but while I look for a permanent job, I am pet sitting and babysitting, id love to spoil and give your fur babies all the love and attention I will make sure I am taking the babies outside hourly for potty breaks, ensure their water is filled and they have been fed. I'll also make sure they get some exercise on a walk or playing outside or even inside.

About: I've had dogs all my life and it's a necessity to pet every dog that goes past me, so it only feels right to help others with their beautiful fur babies. Your dog will never be bored with me! I'll make sure to give them lots of love and attention. Play time is a must, and they will never miss a meal or a bathroom break.
