About: 🦴 hii, i’m jo (they/them)! i like being playful, hiking, and adventure. 🐶 i’m obsessed with dogs and have been caring for them for 15+ years. i have really great boundaries, which i think is crucial in the care i can offer your dog/s. i also match their energy, from snoozers 💤 to zoomers 🎾 i’m able to accomidate dogs that require higher levels of attention, take them on extensive walks (15-30 mins) based on request and mobile ability, and am comfortable adminstering oral and topical medication. i know how stressful it can be to find a purrfect friend for your companion, so please feel free to ask questions before booking! if there’s any special accommodations i can try my best to meet them! i also take covid precautions:) my routine is very flexible, as i naturally prioritize pet care, just as much as my own:) depending on the day, i’m available for quick afternoon visits, setting aside multiple hours, as well as overnight sitting. establishing a trusting relationship is very important to me, whether that be with you or your dog/s. i’m dedicated to finding methods that work best for each individual needs. for example, i can walk your dogs leashed or let them freely wander fenced in yards. please don’t hesitate to communicate thorough desires/accommodations!

About: Hello! My name is Arica. I have been taking care of pets for many years. I love animals, especially dogs. I don’t have any kids and most of my time is spent at home. I do have a job but it is all remote and I can control the days and hours I work. I will treat your fur babies like my own and will make sure your house is looking as good as you left it. About: I’ve owned dogs since before I can even remember and they all still have a special place in my heart. I have tons of experience with pet sitting, dog walking, belly rubs and ear scratches. My skin care routine wouldn’t be complete without dog kisses. I’ve wrestled huge dogs since I was 6, so no dog scares me. And if I get bit, it is what it is cause I still love that doggo. I’ll treat your pets like I would my own - which means they’re family. They deserve the world! I am currently available every day, all day. I’d love to turn this into a career so this will be my number 1 priority. I live at an apartment complex that is extremely pet friendly and has GREAT areas for walking and two fenced in areas where dogs can run. I also have a sliding glass door that goes out to a patio and yard area because I live on the ground floor. I can crate your puppets if needed or they can be free to roam around.

About: I’ve been involved in pet care the entirety of my adulthood. From big sled dogs to frenchies and more, I’ve played along with more than I can say. Experienced specifically with large breed dogs and small to medium reactive dogs. I work almost full time at a local doggy daycare. If your pet is a client there I’m happy to be flexible about drop off and pick up from there. I have varying flexibility throughout the week. Friday is the day I’m least available. I offer primarily drop in visits and walks. Well mannered dogs may walk with myself and my friendly, female dog. Others may get a little more one on one time if uncomfortable with other dogs.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've been lucky to parent dogs, cats, and horses, including two retired racing Greyhounds and a tuxedo cat who made me a certified cat person. Beyond my own, I've been caring for pets professionally (i.e., beyond friends and family) for more than 15 years, and after taking some time away while completing my PhD and living abroad, I'm excited to be back doing something I've always loved. In 2011, I started walking pups professionally in Chicago as a side gig during my breaks from tour managing for a band, which quickly turned into my dog-walking clients asking me to stay in their home with their pets while they were away. Over the span of just a few years, I built relationships with more than 30 clients, with most of them turning into repeat (and repeat and repeat!) clients. I've cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes and everything in between. I've also worked with many pets that required extra patience or specialized care. I've cared for senior pets, dogs < 1yo, a blind Australian Cattle Dog, a deaf cat, highly anxious and stranger-wary dogs, VERY stranger-wary cats, a Beagle with a seizure disorder, and pets receiving medication. I've also been the go-to sitter for a couple of families going through difficult times with their critters, including caring for their pets with terminal illnesses during their final days (both a black lab named Maggie and the sweetest deaf black cat named Sam) . Over the years, I've handled a few very unexpected situations as well. Whether it's a medical event requiring an unexpected trip to the veterinarian or even arriving to a cat drop-in visit to find that the apartment had experienced a break-in (in my Chicago days, which included working with police and gathering the terrified cats from the apartment stairwell), I've stayed calm, communicated clearly, and focused on keeping the critters safe and the clients informed. There have also been several occasions where I've extended my stay last-minute due to a client's canceled flight or interrupted travel plans. One of the biggest differences between my prior pet sitting days and now is my flexibility due to my remote work. When I pet sat extensively throughout Chicago, my tour managing days had ended and I worked a full-time 9-5 downtown. This was fine for my clients, as they had a similar schedule. But I now work fully remotely, so I have a highly flexible schedule that allows me to spend much more time with your pets throughout the day than I could years ago. I essentially do my best to work around your pet's normal routine. I'm happy to accommodate early mornings, evenings, or midday visits whenever possible. My goal is to make life feel as normal and stress-free as possible for your pets while you're away. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I'd expect someone to show mine, as I've also hired pet sitters over the years for my own critters. I follow your instructions (the more the better!), keep you updated with photos (lots!) and messages, and make sure your pets receive the same routines, rules, and attention they're used to (e.g., their feeding schedules, medications, favorite walking routes, cuddle time, or simply keeping them company).

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, for family and friends who are pet parents, I am their first choice when it comes to pet sitting. I have also volunteered at my local animal shelters and to me, the animal's well-being is my highest priority. I have a job with flexible work hours so I can always make time to take care of your best friend. I also work remotely so I can be with your pet for however long is needed. If I am at the client's house, I will follow any and all special instructions involving taking care of their pet. I will make sure the dog is fed, gets plenty of exercise, clean up any messes, and just make sure that they feel safe and cared for.

About: Having a few furry friends of my own (two cats and a corgi), I am always looking to make new furry friends and feel more than capable of providing quality care for your pets. I work an 8-5 job Monday through Friday, but can do after 5:00 drop-ins (potentially mid day drop ins when schedule allows) weekends are much more flexible and can be worked around. At my home, our corgi is crate trained and loves to play (lots of energy!). My cats could not be more opposite of each other — one of them is lovey and greets you at the door, while the other is shy and likes to hide. Either works for me!

About: I have a 1.5 year old German Shepherd mutt & have experience caring for all cats & dog of all ages & sizes. I grew up with pets my entire life & am excited to meet yours I am currently available Saturday-Thursday any times. This is schedule to change once I transfer to my new job but for now, I have extremely open availability I’m willing to help with walks, potty breaks, play time, feeding, & any additional care you may need. About: Hi, I’m Kaitlyn! I have experience regularly caring for different types of animals since I was about 13 years old. I used to volunteer at my local animal shelter before moving to Kalamazoo and have lots of experience with different breeds of dogs of various sizes, ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. I also have experience with dogs with different temperaments from extremely timid to extremely outgoing and hyper as well as ample experience with reactive dogs. I’m currently a student at Western Michigan University and I also work part time as a server. My schedule is pretty flexible and I should be able to accommodate most requests. I treat your fur baby like they are my own! I’m very attentive and can continuously update you with pictures/videos so you can feel completely confident that your pet is in good hands!

About: If I could pick one thing that seperates me from other walkers/sitters, it would be that I genuinely have a strong passion and connection to animals. I know all the DO'S and DON'TS when it comes to taking care of a pet. I have a dog of my own and I love and care for him like he's my child. I know not to give him chocolate, grapes, raisins and to keep him away from hazards like antifreeze, oil spills, dead animals, trash, poisons and other dogs feces. I'm also very aware when it comes to the details of an animals behavior and partake in fast acting solutions when it comes to avoiding conflict between them. I could say with a full heart that your pet would be comfortable, feel loved and safe under my care. :) I currently am available anytime for drop-ins and/or walks M-F and have full availability on weekends unless I have otherwise marked "not available" on my availability calender. :) At this moment, I am not currently available for overnight house/pet sitting, but I'm here for the rest! I normally take the pet/pets outside to go potty first thing, give treats, give attention, give love, feed, distribute supplements/medication if needed, fill water, play with toys, take photos for my client, walk, pick up doggy poo, scoop/change the litter box and clean up any messes that are made while the client is away.

About: I ’ve grown up surrounded by dogs my whole life—whether inside the house or playing outside, I’ve always had a pup by my side. From small breeds with big personalities to large, energetic dogs who love to run and play, I’m comfortable caring for all types. Over the years, I’ve been the go-to pet helper for friends and family, often stopping by to walk their dogs, feed them, and make sure they get the love and attention they need. Because of that, I know every dog has their own personality and needs—some are full of energy and love long walks, while others prefer snuggles and quiet time. No matter what your pup loves most, I’ll treat them like part of my own family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I’m a 23-year-old photographer who’s currently traveling with my fiancé for his work. Because I don’t have a 9–5 schedule, I’m home most of the day and have plenty of time to give your pup attention, walks, and playtime. I love being active, so daily walks (and even extra adventures if your pup enjoys them!) are part of my routine. I live in a first-story apartment with easy access to the outdoors—perfect for quick potty breaks and long strolls. While I don’t have a fenced-in yard, my neighborhood has lots of sidewalks, and my apartment complex has a safe dog park for extra playtime. Safety is always my top priority: I’ll keep your dog on-leash during walks, supervise outdoor play, and make sure they feel comfortable and secure in my care. Your pup will always get the love and attention they deserve, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I have always been around dogs growing up. I have had huskies, labs, border collies and several mixed breeds including a St. Bernard mix. I love dogs and love taking dogs for walks.
