5. Adaora O.
About: Hi! My name is Adaora, I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats since I was 10 years old, and have taken care of my family’s now senior dog most of his life, so I’m well versed in all stages of dog life at this point. Currently I have one 2 year old dog who I raised from 3 months old (who is very high energy, so there will be plenty of walks and exercise while your pup is here.) I also have experience training dogs, so if you need some additional help with basic commands and dog walking, I’d be happy to assist! I am a student full time during the week, but have availability and a lot of energy throughout the weekends from sitting in class all day, which is where your dog comes in! I love spending my time with my dog and others dogs, and I spend as much time as I can outdoors in my backyard gardening or going on walks and hikes which is always more fun accompanied by a furry friend! I have a fenced in yard and 1 other doggo who has plenty of energy and toys laying around the house to help entertain your pup. A typical daycare day will usually look like hanging out outside for a bit, play time with me, snack time, at some point I’ll separate the doggos so they can all rest, then we’ll go for a walk and maybe snuggle up inside for a bit. If everyone is particularly energetic we’ll go back outside and play again. My goal here is to give your dog a fun, stress free place to be while you are at work or away for the day/weekend, because that’s always what I want for my dog when I’m gone.
6. Daniel O.
“Daniel is a sweet animal lover who takes excellent care of both his own pets and those of his clients. He's very patient and understanding with animals, and it's obvious they can sense he is a true friend. I have no worries leaving my beloved animals with Daniel, as I know they are always in good, loving hands. Daniel is very responsible and trustworthy, and I always know my babies will be treated wonderfully under his watch!”
7. Jess P.
“I have been a client of Jess' grooming service. I have a large dog who I rescued from a bad situation. He's very timid and has a hard time trusting people, which made finding a groomer who was patient and understanding very difficult. When I found Jess, it was a miracle! She was very gentle, very patient, and understanding with my boy! Took her time to make sure he was comfortable through the whole process. She is absolutely amazing!! She also does a fantastic job with my other dog as well! I recommend her to anyone who asks me for advice on where to take their animals. Amazing person and amazing with animals!!”
8. Mckenzie K.
“McKenzie has a true heart for animals. I think she’d have them all live with her if she could. Our dog is a bit aggressive and she handles him just fine. She just pours out so much love on animals. Your pets will be in great hands if she takes care of them for you. She is respectful and trustworthy.”

About: I completed the Dog Walking Academy in November 2018, provided by TipTopTails Training in Kalamazoo. Also completed Pet Tech CPR, First Aid and Care in November 2018. Having recently retired from WMU, I am looking forward to spending time with your dog(s) or cat(s) and earning some extra income. I have been a dog owner all of my life, my husband and I currently have one American Staffordshire Terrier rescue named Mazzie who is three years old. I am available to come to your home to visit with and care for your pets, I am not able to house your animals at my home during the day or overnight. Eventually, these services may also be available. I have experience with dogs who need daily medications (insulin, seizure meds) or those with chronic issues. I am available to care for your pet(s) in your home while you are away for the day or on vacation. I am retired from WMU and have fairly open days and evenings. I am not able to do overnights at this time. I have had many dogs and right now we have adopted a new rescue dog, a Staffordshire terrier who is about 3 years old. For that reason, I do not bring your animals to my home, I come to you.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid My grandmother was a dog breeder and my step dad is a veterinarian. We are active in our house, we do dog walks, and play in the backyard. Your dog will be everywhere my dogs are. I have two Weiner dogs and a Aussie English shepherd. I don’t have any kids or cats in the house. I’m very knowledgeable about dogs and dog breeds. I do prefer to just watch one family’s dogs at a time. I’m currently working out of the home for my small business. Therefore my schedule is completely flexible. I’m willing to give dogs rides to and from home, if needed. I don’t have any children or responsibilities that could affect my ability to care for your pets. My dogs get walked everyday we have playtime in the backyard. Your dogs go and do what my dogs do. They’ll never be locked outside or mistreated. If your pup stays the night they sleep with me and my dogs unless they are crate trained and that’s how you want them at bedtime. A good routine is important for our pets and I’m committed to helping keep that.

I'm very playful with animals and I always make sure that the animals I take care of are comfortable and happy being around me. I am currently a full time student. If you need me on weekdays please let me know because I have different schedules each day. Notes: I am pretty much available for the summer! My apartment is pet friendly. There's a big field next to my apartment. There is a lot of puppies in my neighborhood so your dog won't ever get lonely. There's also dog waste bags everywhere near my apartment, so your dog can potty anywhere. For cats, I have cat toys in my apartment because I have 2 cats but they currently live at my parents house, for potty I might have to buy the sand or if you could provide one that would be awesome!

19. Jordan M.
“I've known Jordan since we were in Middle School. To say this woman has survived and thrived would be a huge understatement. She's by far the most resourceful, innovative, and passionate person that I know. She goes above and beyond to ensure that everything and everyone around her is well taken care of. Nova (her snake) is extremely lucky to have found her forever home with Jordan. Anyone would be blessed to have Jordan take care of their pet.”
