“An absolute wonderful person to watch after your pet! She was so loving toward Charlie and he had an absolutely blast with her while I was out of town. Big thanks to Theresa!”

“Jess was great! Always communicated with me and gave good notes so I was aware of everything that happened during the visit. I knew my baby was in good hands. I would recommend to anyone and love to book her again!”

“I had a great experience with Jaime! She was quick to respond and worked with me to find a time that suited both our schedules. She arrived on time, was incredibly sweet with my dog, and really took the time to connect with her. It was clear she genuinely cared and made sure all of her needs were met. I would definitely recommend her and will continue to use her services moving forward!”

About: Since I was a young girl, I have always had family pets who have quickly become my best friends. I just spent three months back home in FL taking care of my family pup while my parents were away, so with my recent move I am missing him extra :( I have always cared for him whether that be dog sitting while my parents are away, walking & feeding him, or even just cuddling on the couch. I am a sensitive and caring individual and have a sweet spot for dogs, treating each as if they are my own. I am an avid animal lover and fall in love with every dog I meet. Since I do not currently have my own dog, I am always looking to spend time with friends and families pups. As your care provider, I can promise daily updates including photos, calm and patience with dogs of all ages, playtime and exercise, flexible scheduling, overnight stays, and most importantly love and attention to your prized pups. Having recently graduated college and graduate school, I just moved to the city and am currently searching for job opportunities so I have lots of free time on my hands and LOVE doggies! I have lots of experience caring for my own families dogs, along with other friends and families companions. I will ensure your pets are happy and loved as I spend time with them. I also will make sure your home is secured and the safety of your pets is my number one priority while I care for them!

About: I've taken care of a variety of animals since the age of 10. I grew up with a dog and cat who were partially my responsibility as well as fed, walked, and boarded friends and family members pets when they were out of town. In my adult life I've continued the habit of offering these services to friends and family members. Services include: walks, feeding regimens (including medication administration), litter scooping, playtime, and cuddles/pets. For the last 2 years I've had a dog of my own, Honey-Mustard, pictured on my profile. :) I genuinely enjoy taking care of and bonding with animals of all kinds! I'm experienced with chickens and small mammals (gerbils, hamsters, etc.) as well! I usually work 4 days a week from 630am-230pm. I will be available after 230 on work days and have open availability the other 3 days of the week. I am not offering in home care at this time, but I am willing to work with whatever resources my client's home can provide whether that be a yard, leashed walks, and/or indoor enrichment activities!
“She was amazing! Was able to take us on short notice, loved and played with our dog like we would. She is very communicative, and even gave our cat some love (which was not part of our request). Highly recommend and will be using her again!”

“Lexi was fantastic. I had a last minute trip and she was so easy to book with. She was very attentive and had my puppers taken out on time, every day. Thank you Lexi! I will definitely be rebooking with you in the future.”

About: I (and my partner, Nico) love taking furry 4-legged buddies on long, winding daily walks (multiple times a day, if needed), giving them all the fluffing and snuggles they would want, and whatever misadventures to get into. We are godparents here in KZOO to 3 pups; all who live nearby (1 <6 months and 2 older pups, 1blind). If your doggo likes to make friends, they'll also have 3 dogs around them (all in the immediate houses nearby) to say HI and FROLICK! We have a fenced-in yard with almost 0.5 acre adventuring space in Oakland-Winchell! In previous times, I've always had roommates (in different living situations) with small- to medium- to big- dogs (younger and middle-aged) and have cared for, walked, and taken them around. Can also provide pick-up and drop-off, too, to the dog park, on nice hikes, and most anything in-between. Additionally, if you need someone to come by to feed your furry friend & take them out, I can do that and stay longer to hang out with them, too, if your doggie friend loves attention! We shall shower it on them! YUSS! If I am watching your pup, it means that I am home from my 80% work travel schedule and that I am working from home. It also means that I can dedicate time to your pup as is needed for your pup! We have a fenced-in backyard of grass and fun. Within the house, we leave the windows and back door screen open (or closed) depending on the run-bility of your pup! If your pup is a chill pup and likes to sit with us while we work, we love that too!
About: I've taken care of many different types of animals. From bearded dragons to dogs and cats, there isn't anything I can't handle. I've been taking care my dogs from puppies to seniors since I was little. I love every single animal as if they were my own. I'm a rising freshman headed to Kalamazoo College currently looking for work over the summer. I have tons of time to take care of your pets and I know I will love doing it too! I have the whole summer to focus on making sure your animals are well taken care of and doing well. I have a large yard at home ( 2 acres) for your pet to play in. I also have lots of experience walking dogs from my own to friends who needed help when they were gone. There is no fence around my yard but a lead can be used if necessary. Almost anything your pet needs I can provide.
About: I've got several years of experience under my belt! I raised my family puppy Baloo since he was just a baby and now he's a whole 3 years old. We also had a cat for six years and I've gotten a lot of experience in cat care as well. I've also taken care of other dogs for the day and taken them out on walks. I'd love to take your best friend out on a walk and help you give them the time they deserve! I'm currently in my last year of medical school, which is a pretty flexible time with a lot of virtual stisginf included. I'm available to help most hours of the day and am usually available on weekends! I have a large apartment space and access to a large, fully fenced yard just across the street where we could play fetch! I have taken my family dog here many times and he's loved it.
About: From my childhood Labrador Sam, to Daisy Mae, my black lab after college, I have always been responsible for caring for animals. I officially began taking clients two years ago and I haven't looked back. And recently I began offering basic dog training to special clients as well. Nothing compares to the feeling of making sure a pet is well-cared for and happy. I've always been a friend people turn to for taking care of their animals while they're away. I have a client who is gone quite often and care for her animals several times a month. During the week, I still offer to stop in on my brother's two dogs. Animals are a priority in my life! I've prioritized my leash training skills and am very accustomed to going on many walks per day as well as providing tasks to keep dogs happy and healthy.
Oakland-Winchell dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kimberly is a total gem! She took the time to connect, play, and make sure my pup felt comfortable and happy. She kept me updated with photos, thoughtful notes, and little details that showed she really pays attention. It gave me total peace of mind knowing my fur baby was in such kind and capable hands. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, professional, and genuinely caring, I can’t recommend Kimberly enough. My dog absolutely adores her—and so do I!
First time using Rover, Maddie was my first booking and she’s been wonderful! I expressed how I was a bit anxious having a stranger take my Luna for a walk since I’ve always had family or friends take care/walk her. But Maddie made me feel at ease through it all!
