Safety, trust & environment

Safety and comfort are always my top priorities when caring for pets. When arriving at a client’s home, I make sure all pets stay secure before entering to prevent any curious escape artists! Once we’re settled, it’s time for lots of pets, cuddles, and attention before heading outside for fresh air and playtime. For cats, interactive play is a must! I love keeping them engaged with toys and activities that match their personality. After playtime, I take care of feeding, refreshing water, and tidying up — including scooping litter boxes or cleaning the yard, washing food bowls, and keeping the space neat and comfortable. Pets staying in my home will enjoy a cozy environment with a fenced yard, a big comfy couch for lounging, fresh water, and plenty of toys. I also have a medium sized kennel available if your pet prefers a safe, quiet space. My two friendly beagles and dog savvy kitty are always happy to welcome new friends! Structured rest breaks are provided, where I may step out of the home for a quick drop in for other pets needing love! All dogs are either crated or separated behind gated doors when left unsupervised.

Information Elizabeth V. would like to know about your pet

I have two dogs and a kitty of my own who are very friendly to new guests. I do ask for a meet & greet for boarding/daycare if you are unsure if your pet will get along with my pets, and that dogs are either crate trained or comfortable being left alone for short periods of time. Please let me know if your pet needs any special accommodation so I am able to provide the best experience possible for them. ❤️

A typical day

Your pup’s visit will be full of fun, play, and relaxation! We’ll spend time outside playing their favorite games, fetch, frisbee, tug of war, or even scent work for curious noses. We’ll also enjoy neighborhood sniff walks, exploring all the exciting smells and saying hello to friendly doggy neighbors along the way. After playtime, it’s time to relax! Inside, your pup can curl up on the big comfy couch with calming classical music in the background and enjoy a snack (or two). Kitties get the VIP treatment too! They’ll enjoy plenty of cuddles, playtime with their favorite toys, relaxing cat TV, and of course a few tasty snacks. My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, happy, and loved- Because a happy pet, means peace of mind.

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Ellie 😊 I’m a 27-year-old homeowner who loves sharing my home with animals. I’ve owned and cared for dogs and cats for over 12 years and have 2 years of experience working with dogs in a professional setting. I’m also certified in pet CPR, so your pet’s safety is always a priority. In my teens and early 20s, I spent much of my free time dog sitting and house sitting for friends and family, and I’m happy to provide references upon request. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and my goal is to make both you and your fur babies feel completely safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. ♥ I have experience working with reactive dogs and understand that every pup has unique triggers and needs. I’m comfortable handling dogs who may be reactive to other animals, people, or new environments, and I always prioritize safety, patience, and clear communication. I’m happy to follow any training plans you have in place and will work at your dog’s pace to build trust and keep them feeling secure.

This was my first time using Rover and choosing Elizabeth was the perfect decision! She’s kind and easygoing while also being incredibly professional. She went above and beyond during her visit to make sure my cat had everything she needed—food, snacks, new fresh water, litter changes, and lots of snuggles and pets. I especially appreciated photos and the video she sent of my kitty. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cat was in good hands while we were away. We will absolutely be booking with Elizabeth again in the future and highly recommend her business to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful pet care!
