Destiny E.
About: Hi! My name is Destiny, I have such a strong love and passion for our fur babies and pet care is what I will always want to do long-term. I have been working on Rover for a little while but also have other previous experiences from owning various pets of my own such as dogs, cats, bunnies and fish. As well as working at a veterinary clinic, volunteering and fostering at rescues. I can’t wait to meet all of your amazing animal friends and take great care of them while you're away. I'm currently only working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to play and care for your fur babies! Days unavailable due to other obligations will be reflected upon the calendar provided through Rover. Please don't be afraid to ask either way! :) I will keep your fur babies safe by keeping in touch frequently including pictures and/or videos. Following all directions provided by the owner. Keep them active with plenty of play time as well as supervised outdoor play time, walks and if your fur baby is in need of another pup friend I do have a very friendly/social mini goldendoodle pup of my own I can bring by for some supervised playtime (he would need to be brought by to the meet and greet to ensure the safety of both pups)!

About: I've owned dogs my whole life and have been studying them pretty much since I learned to read. I worked at a pet store for a year and a half, volunteered at a animal rescue for 3 years and have been doing services like these for 6 years. I also studied dog grooming and dog training/behavior. My schedule I try to keep pretty open for people to accommodate what they need. You name it and I'm sure I'll be free, message me anytime! I have a 6 foot fenced in yard and a dog pool for the dogs in the summer, I'm less than 5 minutes away from most things and there's also a dog park near me. I do have an in ground pool as well.

Breanna W.
“Breanna is a very caring, responsible and dependable dog caregiver. She is educated and has such a passion for animals. You can tell just in the first meeting with her and how she interacts with the fur babies. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving person to care for your pets.”

Hunter C.
“I hired Hunter to house sit my 2 dogs over a weekend and he was phenomenal. He was frequently sending me check-ins with a bunch of photos and videos of my dogs playing, which I really appreciated. I’m bilingual, and my dogs are mostly used to Spanish commands, since that what we mostly used. He was able to help us continue to enforce those command words since he’s also bilingual. Our dogs weren’t completely house trained at this point but he made sure to clean up all the mess, even went as far as mopping the house for us. All in all I he did a great job and we still use him to this day. 10/10 would recommend.”

Dominique Y.

“ Dominique is a gifted animal-caregiver who takes extra special care of our dog Harley. She is dependable in her work, and loving in her interactions with our dog. We trust Dominique to walk our dog and have had her stay overnight with Harley when we have gone out of town. She is a trustworthy person and our dog's best friend!”

Jack L.
“Hello. I know Jack for over 20 years and can honestly said he is a very kind and caring individual. He has always loved animals and especially dogs. He is very caring, loving and patient. I would trust Jack to care for my pets anytime as I know they would be extremely well looked after and taken for long walks but also know that he would be careful of any dangers to the pet he is looking after and to others.”

Maggie W.

“Maggie is the best!! Our dogs were staying with my elderly parents while we were out of town and needed to be walked everyday. Maggie came to our rescue and walked them daily and gave them VIP treatment! Maggie is a dependable, professional loving care giver and we would definitely call her again to care for our dogs!!”

Amber D.

“Amber just started walking my 80lb Bernedoodle and he gives all hi fives and a bunch of wagging tails and kisses. We look forward to having Amber continue taking such great care of Phinda.”

About: What started out as babysitting quickly turned to dog and cat sitting as parents and friends saw the love that I have for children and animals. As a recent WMU grad, I am looking to fill my time with fulfilling work that I love. What’s better than hanging with animals? When I’m not nannying or working as a behavioral therapist, I enjoy spending time with our furry friends. Because I live in an apartment, I prefer to go to clients homes and care for pets where they feel most comfortable and at home. Though I do have a large yard and gated dog park where I live!

Theresa D.

“An absolute wonderful person to watch after your pet! She was so loving toward Charlie and he had an absolutely blast with her while I was out of town. Big thanks to Theresa!”

Connie K.
“I can attest that Connie is a very loving, caring, and responsible pet caregiver. She comes from a family owning 3 Brittany Spaniels. She has volunteered and assisted NBRAN (a rescue group for Brittanys) by helping foster Brittany's of all ages from puppy to elders, some with major health problems. She has personally assisted me while volunteering at the Alcona County Humane Society. She has years of experience taking care of many dogs and is responsible with walking them, meals, administering medications if needed, and giving an abundance amount of love to your fur baby. She has a devout work ethic in keeping your house clean, secure, and providing that one on one care for your loved one should you need overnight stays. Please consider her as a trustworthy and loving individual who will provide the perfect care for your house and pets!”

Megan M.
“For Megan, a dog isn’t just a pet. It is part of the family. She is gentle and caring but firm with rules. So much better than boarding my dog because she takes away the anxiety of being in a kennel. My dog Max loves her!”

Lauren L.

“Our dogs are always so happy to see Lauren. She’s the best!”

Barb C.

“Barb is amazing!!! Every time she gets home, Lola gets super excited because she knows is time for her walk! Barb is sweet and very kind with my baby!! 100% recommended!!”

Omayra M.
“Omayra has been wonderful for our dog sitting needs. She regularly watches our high maintenance husky, Nani. Nani is very particular with who she likes and Omayra was slow, patient and caring with her.”

About: I have a Bachelor’s in Zoology. I was a zookeeper for 8yrs, vet assistant for 2yrs, manager of a boarding/daycare facility, manager of a veterinary clinic kennel and manager of a dog rescue. I’ve done it all! Medicate. Groom. Feed. Socialize. Exercise. Train. I am currently in the process of finding a new job, so my schedule is very flexible. I clip nails, bathe, feed and medicate my dog, 2 cats and care for my fish!

Joseph H.

“Joe (& Heather) were great! We contacted him very last minute when other plans fell through. Contacted him Saturday, they came out for a meet & greet Sunday & filled our care needs on Monday. We were very pleased that he had Heather come with him— we have Rottweiler/ Newfoundland crosses that weigh in at 130+ & 115+ and sometimes can be like trying to walk a freight train on a leash. Our female tends to be more reticent, especially towards men, but she immediately went right to him and both dogs were absolutely in love at first sight. Even my super skittish & shy old cat that hides from most people came out for them (it helped that it was here dinner time ?) We will definitely be calling on him again!!”

About: I completed the Dog Walking Academy in November 2018, provided by TipTopTails Training in Kalamazoo. Also completed Pet Tech CPR, First Aid and Care in November 2018. Having recently retired from WMU, I am looking forward to spending time with your dog(s) or cat(s) and earning some extra income. I have been a dog owner all of my life, my husband and I currently have one American Staffordshire Terrier rescue named Mazzie who is three years old. I am available to come to your home to visit with and care for your pets, I am not able to house your animals at my home during the day or overnight. Eventually, these services may also be available. I have experience with dogs who need daily medications (insulin, seizure meds) or those with chronic issues. I am available to care for your pet(s) in your home while you are away for the day or on vacation. I am retired from WMU and have fairly open days and evenings. I am not able to do overnights at this time. I have had many dogs and right now we have adopted a new rescue dog, a Staffordshire terrier who is about 3 years old. For that reason, I do not bring your animals to my home, I come to you.
