“Sometimes luck is on your side. We chose Cara at random from possible Rover dog walkers, and it turns out she is a dream come true! Punctual, flexible, kind, funny, and smart, she has turned out to be exactly the right person for our needs and preferences. Pivo goes nuts with excitement when he sees her coming. He performs zoomies on walks, and even though she says he's tired out, will do them when he's back. We love her! Yay, Cara! Awesome job!”

“Maggie is the best!! Our dogs were staying with my elderly parents while we were out of town and needed to be walked everyday. Maggie came to our rescue and walked them daily and gave them VIP treatment! Maggie is a dependable, professional loving care giver and we would definitely call her again to care for our dogs!!”

About: I have had pets of many kinds almost my entire life and many friends have entrusted me with the care of their pets while away. My friend who ran a successful rescue trusts me with her medically complex rescues. I follow whatever instructions are there with special attention paid to any medications that need to be given or other special details. I'm a freelancer that spends too much time sitting while I work. I'm very excited to add more walks into my life and a bit more out of the house time taking care of your furry friends when you need! In your home I will do everything in my power to take good care of your four legged friend. Whether that means medicating them at the right times, chilling on the couch for a bit of snuggling, or playing fetch in the backyard (or living room) until the exciteable animal is a little more chill from getting energy out.

“Theresa was very accommodating and took very good care of our Rosie. She went above and beyond to make sure our dog was well cared for. We will be using her again when we need someone!”

“First time using Rover, Maddie was my first booking and she’s been wonderful! I expressed how I was a bit anxious having a stranger take my Luna for a walk since I’ve always had family or friends take care/walk her. But Maddie made me feel at ease through it all!”

“Michelle was wonderful and was able to help us in a pinch on short notice! She took great care of our old man and sent us updates and pictures each visit. We would highly recommend! Thank you so much Michelle!”

“Hunter was great with Dot. Very patient and loving. With no fault of his… the snow storm prevented him from doing his walk visit on the 5th. However, We will have and look forward to using Hunter again. Very happy with his communication and commitment.”

About: Over the past two years, I have house-sat a multitude of times for all types of animals; birds, dogs, and even cats. I make sure that they get lots of love and playtime when I'm with them and any other requests by the owners. I have administered medicine to pets while I have house sat so there would be no worries while you are away! I have experience with foster dogs as well and volunteer at Animal Rescue Project. My family also has two dogs and on the owner's request, I can give your dog the opportunity to socialize and get to play with other dogs in a fenced-in yard! I am a college student so I have a very flexible schedule! With my classes, there is plenty of time for me to spend time with your furry friends and give them all the love they deserve while you are gone! I have a fenced-in yard and two playful dogs that would love to make new friends if you want your dog to socialize. When at your home, I'll make sure that your pet(s) gets fed on time, takes long walks, is let out when needed, and gets plenty of time to play. I also love to take pictures to send when you're away because everyone needs to see their fur baby while they are away. As the owner of two dogs, I understand the importance of wanting someone that you can trust to take care of your loved ones and I always make sure I provide the service and time that I would want for my pets.

“Dean was amazing! I needed someone last minute and he accommodated for my request. Great communicator and my puppy enjoyed their interactions. Will definitely book again!”

About: Since the age of 12, I have taken care of both dogs and cats! I love animals and do not discriminate against breed or age. I want your pet(s) to feel comfortable and at peace when you are away from them. My experience ranges from overnight sitting, day sitting, bathing, feedings, bathroom breaks, administering medications, and quick check-in's. My goal is to make your pets feel loved, well taken care of, and happy while in my care. I work a full time job, Monday-Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. I typically only work 1 day in office and the other four at home. I am able to bring my computer and do my work outside of my office and home location. When I am in the office, there are opportunities for me to stop by and let your animals use the bathroom, eat, or play. In your home, I will make sure to follow the routine that best fits your pet. Whether it is adhering to a specific diet, giving them medicine, following a bathroom schedule, etc., I want to make your time away from them as easy as possible. I will care for your pets like they are my own and always keep open communication throughout my time with them.

About: Growing up my family and extended families have always had a family dog which they trust me to walk watch over and feed the dogs. I have had my own Chihuahua since 2020. I love him🥰, looking forward to spread more love to all the future pets. I have great communication skills, integrity. I prefer to have Louie with me as much as possible. I am currently self-employed, servicing hair clients in my spare time, so I have plenty of time to attend to Louie and anyone else who needs help. I prefer to have Louie with me as much as possible. Thank you. When my dog has to take his preventative pills I use peanut butter to encourage him to take it. I prefer to take Louie out every two hours.

About: I grew up with pets and currently have my own 4 fur babies at home! I own my home with a fenced in yard! I can watch your dog in my home if you prefer but do not mind staying over if that is what you would like! I offer walking services as well if that is what your fur baby needs during the day. I do allow my pets on the furniture and bed but can keep yours off if you would prefer! Being crate trained is not necessary and I can help with potty training for any puppies that will be in my care. I do have a full time 9-5 job but I can easily leave at lunch for any potty breaks your fur babies will need! I do work full time 9-5 every day but I can leave for lunch to let your fur baby outside or give meds if needed! I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run around in! I stay outside with them while they do business to ensure safety. Playtime is a necessity so we will have multiple times a day to play outside with a tennis ball or go for walks

About: Hi! My name is Adaora, I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats since I was 10 years old, and have taken care of my family’s now senior dog most of his life, so I’m well versed in all stages of dog life at this point. Currently I have one 2 year old dog who I raised from 3 months old (who is very high energy, so there will be plenty of walks and exercise while your pup is here.) I also have experience training dogs, so if you need some additional help with basic commands and dog walking, I’d be happy to assist! I am a student full time during the week, but have availability and a lot of energy throughout the weekends from sitting in class all day, which is where your dog comes in! I love spending my time with my dog and others dogs, and I spend as much time as I can outdoors in my backyard gardening or going on walks and hikes which is always more fun accompanied by a furry friend! I have a fenced in yard and 1 other doggo who has plenty of energy and toys laying around the house to help entertain your pup. A typical daycare day will usually look like hanging out outside for a bit, play time with me, snack time, at some point I’ll separate the doggos so they can all rest, then we’ll go for a walk and maybe snuggle up inside for a bit. If everyone is particularly energetic we’ll go back outside and play again. My goal here is to give your dog a fun, stress free place to be while you are at work or away for the day/weekend, because that’s always what I want for my dog when I’m gone.

“Great walk! Erin was on time and took great care of both dogs while I was out of town for the day. I appreciated the pictures and map of their dog walk route! Thanks, Erin!!”

“Barb is amazing!!! Every time she gets home, Lola gets super excited because she knows is time for her walk! Barb is sweet and very kind with my baby!! 100% recommended!!”

“Jackie is amazing!!!!! She went above and beyond in every way. She truly cares + adores the animals she watches. This was our first time using her and hope to use her many times going forward. Our dog ended up getting sick and she cared for him like he was her own. Her communication was thorough and prompt. She updated us throughout the entire booking. We are so thankful for Jackie!”

About: I (and my partner, Nico) love taking furry 4-legged buddies on long, winding daily walks (multiple times a day, if needed), giving them all the fluffing and snuggles they would want, and whatever misadventures to get into. We are godparents here in KZOO to 3 pups; all who live nearby (1 <6 months and 2 older pups, 1blind). If your doggo likes to make friends, they'll also have 3 dogs around them (all in the immediate houses nearby) to say HI and FROLICK! We have a fenced-in yard with almost 0.5 acre adventuring space in Oakland-Winchell! In previous times, I've always had roommates (in different living situations) with small- to medium- to big- dogs (younger and middle-aged) and have cared for, walked, and taken them around. Can also provide pick-up and drop-off, too, to the dog park, on nice hikes, and most anything in-between. Additionally, if you need someone to come by to feed your furry friend & take them out, I can do that and stay longer to hang out with them, too, if your doggie friend loves attention! We shall shower it on them! YUSS! If I am watching your pup, it means that I am home from my 80% work travel schedule and that I am working from home. It also means that I can dedicate time to your pup as is needed for your pup! We have a fenced-in backyard of grass and fun. Within the house, we leave the windows and back door screen open (or closed) depending on the run-bility of your pup! If your pup is a chill pup and likes to sit with us while we work, we love that too!

6. Morgan M.
“When we relocated from Arizona to Michigan, one of the struggles we had with the decision was losing Morgan as our pet caretaker. I am heavily involved in animal rescue and work with cats and dogs with both emotional and physical special needs. Morgan is the only person I trusted the care of a multi pet high needs house to. He always made sure medications and feedings were correct and on time. This is a huge ask when one dog has seizures and needs meds three times a day, while another dog has anxiety and thyroid meds twice a day, and the special needs cat needs his specific food and meds at precise times twice a day intermingled with random incontinence. Morgan handled them all with grace, giving them love and care as his own pets. They were always well cared for and happy when we came home, and the house in order. If you want someone with competence, love, and the ability to care for your healthy or sickly pets as one of their own...you want Morgan.”
