Jean C.
About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years I'm currently working part-times so I have extra time left to take care of beautiful fur animals. Being around dogs and cats make me happy I know very well how to handle very large dogs, especially big ones. I have received courses from very reputable German Shepherd police dog trainers

Alydia J.
“Alydia watched my dog for a 3-day weekend. She’s a sweet sitter. She treated my pup as if she were her own. My dog adores her, it just shows me she’s trustworthy.”

About: What started out as babysitting quickly turned to dog and cat sitting as parents and friends saw the love that I have for children and animals. As a recent WMU grad, I am looking to fill my time with fulfilling work that I love. What’s better than hanging with animals? When I’m not nannying or working as a behavioral therapist, I enjoy spending time with our furry friends. Because I live in an apartment, I prefer to go to clients homes and care for pets where they feel most comfortable and at home. Though I do have a large yard and gated dog park where I live!

Victoria R.
“Some people are just natural animal lovers. I see it every time Victoria interacts with our dog and two cats. You can tell she really cares and genuinely is happy to see them. Our dog absolutely loves her and he is very skittish around people. We trust her with our pets completely.”

Hunter C.
“I hired Hunter to house sit my 2 dogs over a weekend and he was phenomenal. He was frequently sending me check-ins with a bunch of photos and videos of my dogs playing, which I really appreciated. I’m bilingual, and my dogs are mostly used to Spanish commands, since that what we mostly used. He was able to help us continue to enforce those command words since he’s also bilingual. Our dogs weren’t completely house trained at this point but he made sure to clean up all the mess, even went as far as mopping the house for us. All in all I he did a great job and we still use him to this day. 10/10 would recommend.”

About: I began taking care of my family dog (black shitzu) when she turned 3 through the rest of her 15 years of life. In addition, I’ve assisted my grandparents in taking care of their dog (shitzu/Maltese mix) in tasks such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and walks. For my own pets (Princess Carolyn and Doffy who are both 1y/o cats) I have experience combing, bathing, and trimming nails. I love being able to play and cuddle with them on a regular basis! I’m currently working part time at the YMCA - Maple location as well as a full time student at WMU. I’m available any time after 6 Monday - Thursday as well as any time after noon Friday - Sunday. I am able and willing to follow any safety precautions required for you and your pets’ needs. Feel free to reach out with specific needs and I will be happy to accommodate.

About: I have a degree in zoology specializing in animal husbandry. I have experience working with dogs with a wide variety of behavioral and health issues such as blindness, deafness, and aggression issues. With me, your dog will get only the best care. If your dog needs 4 walks a day, I can do it. If your dog only eats form your hands, than I will feed them as such. I am familiar with the kenneling system and personally think it can be done better. At home, your dog will experience less stress and will be in an environment that they are familiar with and the routine they know and love. If you choose me, you will be only getting the best care. I can’t wait to work with you

Addison F.
“Addison has had 6 years of experience volunteering at an animal shelter in Mecosta county. She took care of dogs and cats while volunteering. Addison has also adopted a rescue dog.”

Anika K.
“Anika has an extraordinary ability to make pets and people feel deeply loved and cared for. She is kind, diligent and an excellent communicator. She takes exceptional care of her dog and other peoples’. Her compassion makes her one of the few people I’d hire to care for my pups. You can rest assured that your fur baby is well taken care of with her.”

Hanna M.
“I’ve never met someone that is more interested in the health and well-being of all animals, big and small. Hanna grew up with two large dogs whom she loves. She regularly attends the reptile expo in Kalamazoo to learn more about various snakes, spiders, and other insects. She even goes out of her way to understand which species may be invasive in the wild to better support her local ecosystem. I’ve seen her gain the trust of her professors to house sit and care for a range of different animals, all of which she has done a fantastic job. She understands that pets don’t just need food and water, but attention, love, and play as well. If there is a pet that needs to be looked after and you don’t want to worry, there is no one better for the role than Hanna.”

Barb C.

“Barb is amazing!!! Every time she gets home, Lola gets super excited because she knows is time for her walk! Barb is sweet and very kind with my baby!! 100% recommended!!”

“Delaney has grown up with dogs. She’s very attentive and loves animals deeply. She’s also very responsible having taken care of our family pets on her own while were out of town. She is able to prepare special food when necessary, keep wounds clean and administer medicine when necessary. She will make a an excellent dog walker and pet sitter.”

Kaylynn C.
“Kaylynn has sat for our dog, Gus, many times. She would be the first person we would think of when we needed a pet sitter! In Kaylynn's care, we knew Gus was being let out, fed, walked and cared for. Kaylynn's love of any type of animal is evident in how she cares for her own pets as well (dog, cats, rabbits)!”

Mary Beth M.
“There's not too many people I know that have the passion for animals that Marybeth has. She's fed and housed strays, took care of their litters, and when possible, took them in to be spayed or neutered. I have her watch over my own. There's definitely a love that she has for all animals.♥️”

Maura T.
About: I've been taking care of my two dogs for over two years. They sleep in my room, I feed them, walk them, and let them out at regular intervals. I love just getting to hang out with them, but I take it very seriously that they are dependent on me. I have done many jobs here on Rover, working with both cats and dogs, and have always done my best to meet the needs of my client's furry friends 😊 I am a full time student, but am available to do drop in visits, as well as some weekend stays.I am also very good at keeping track of routines, and will not miss points on a schedule, even if I go out in between. I absolutely love going for walks and runs, especially when I have a sweet pet with me. I also know how to keep an eye on pets, even when getting work done, or engaging in other activities.

Michelle O.
“Michelle has cared for and babysat my dog since he was a puppy. Now Obi is 1 and he has the best time with her and her dog Jamal. She brushed him when he needs it, takes him to the dog park to play, and goes on walks with her and Jamal!”
