About: I volunteer at a local animal shelter and have experience caring for both cats and dogs of all ages and personalities. I’m comfortable working with young animals, fresh litters of puppies, pregnant dogs, senior pets, and everything in between. I understand that every pet has unique needs and will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I am currently giving softball lessons, but because it is a self made schedule, I have plenty of availability to check in on your pets! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress free. I prioritize safety, follow all care instructions closely, and make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I also respect your home, keep things clean and tidy, and provide regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away!

About: I have experience with puppies and senior dogs and everything in between. I grew up with dogs and know how to care for them. They will be in good hands! I currently have a cat who is very friendly! I am a grad student with night classes, so I'm home during most of the day. I have a part time job but it won't get in the way of caring for your pet! I have a spacious apartment that will house your pup nicely. My apartment also has a park area that would be perfect for walking and playing with dogs!

About: Since I was a young girl, I have always had family pets who have quickly become my best friends. I just spent three months back home in FL taking care of my family pup while my parents were away, so with my recent move I am missing him extra :( I have always cared for him whether that be dog sitting while my parents are away, walking & feeding him, or even just cuddling on the couch. I am a sensitive and caring individual and have a sweet spot for dogs, treating each as if they are my own. I am an avid animal lover and fall in love with every dog I meet. About: I have had pets my whole life and love to spend time and play with all animals. I have been dog and cat sitting for 8 years for coworkers and friends. I have a 5 year old Catahoula Hound mix that I adopted from the SPCA! When I house sit he does need to come with me. He has never had issues with other dogs or cats. I am a medical assistant during the week for Bronson and would love to spend time with animals on the weekends or after work playing or going for walks. I make a point to let the animal smell and come to me. It is their environment and they don't know me yet! Once they are comfortable I love to get on the ground and play.

My friend who ran a successful rescue trusts me with her medically complex rescues. I follow whatever instructions are there with special attention paid to any medications that need to be given or other special details. I'm a freelancer that spends too much time sitting while I work. I'm very excited to add more walks into my life and a bit more out of the house time taking care of your furry friends when you need! In your home I will do everything in my power to take good care of your four legged friend. Whether that means medicating them at the right times, chilling on the couch for a bit of snuggling, or playing fetch in the backyard (or living room) until the exciteable animal is a little more chill from getting energy out.

About: Hi there! My name is Ashley, and I’m a lifelong animal lover based in the Kalamazoo area. I work full-time in hospitality sales, but caring for animals has always been one of my favorite things to do. I’ve been dog and cat sitting on and off for about 15 years and love getting the chance to spend time with furry friends of all kinds! I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have a rescue Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix named Leo, who has taught me so much about patience, behavior, and individualized care. I also have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels, from easygoing seniors to high-energy terriers and anxious or shy pets. I’ve also cared for cats, guinea pigs, and other small pets over the years. I typically prefer caring for pets in their own home because I believe familiar surroundings help them feel more comfortable and less stressed while you’re away. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for the entire time you’re gone. I’m also a big believer in communication, so you can always expect regular updates and photos throughout the stay! I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I work at a job in Kalamazoo from 9-5, Monday-Friday and we have a hybrid work schedule. I need to be in the office 1 full day and another half day for the most part. Depending on my week and schedule I can work where I need to and can adjust based on what you need. Some weeks are busier than others, and typically if I know I can't be available or will be busy for 8 hours or more, I will make myself unavailable. Currently I live in a rental house with a small yard that is not fenced in. I am able to let my dog out in the yard and we also take daily walks. I have a smaller house and prefer to watch dogs in your home if possible. I find that they are much more comfortable in their own home and I can do my best to follow their routine just like you would if you were home.
