“I have had my dog, Obi, go to Amanda's for day care many times. I am always happy with the care he is given by Amanda. Obi loves going to day care and when we pull up to Amanda's house he can hardly contain himself he is so excited. He loves playing with Amanda's dogs, especially her puppy Marley. I appreciate that Amanda is always flexible with drop off and pick up times, and she is very easy to communicate with. Obi and I give Amanda 5 stars!”

“Burton had another fun and energy burning day with Sari, Loren, their kids and dog Milo! Burton was so excited to see them again that as soon as he got out of the car, he just bolted straight to their front door with excitement. Will for sure be making this a weekly event! Last time Burton was there, he was pooped for two days. Nice to have a little break after I come from work and Burton has already had his exercise for the day. I mean, I think my dog is adorable and lovable, but can tell this family thinks so too.”

“Thanks again for providing great care to my dog, Sarah! I’m so glad your dogs and Moe get along so well. That’s great. Sarah is an awesome dog sitter if you’re looking for one.”

“Rebecca took great care of my dog during a long daytrip for work. She sent photos of him throughout the day and he really seemed to enjoy his day hanging out with her. Ozzy gives his stay five stars!”

“She is so nice, kind and she loved my puppy! He was so happy in playing with her and her son and they had a lot of fun during his stay at Heidi’ house! I definitively recommend her ! Thanks!”

“Oh man, I'm not going to be able to say enough nice things in this review. Melissa sent me pics of Boomer and Storm during the day. Kept me updated, a few times. Boomer seemed to have had a great time while in Melissa's and Ashton's care.as for myself, it was a worry free day. Thank you Melissa and Ashton.”

“Natalie is incredibly self-possessed, which creates a sense a calmness around her that Greta reacted to right away. From all the updates she sent, I could tell my girl was relaxed and just being welcomed to be herself. It was clear from the photos provided that Natalie was getting right on her level and that Greta felt secure. I was late droping-off and picking up, but Natalie was so flexible, which I greatly appreciated. I'm really looking forward to seeing Greta get even more comfortable there, and it just felt like the right fit. I really trusted that Natalie would use good judgement if any issues were to arise, and they actually live a couple doors down from a vet. I could tell Natalie was confident in this role, my dog felt safe and cared for, and I could enjoy my time knowing that she was in capable hands. Greta was so calm when I picked her up, when normally she seems a little frantic to be back with me (even at my mom's)-- if you're looking for a chill place for your pet to feel at ease, this is it. Natalie also asked a lot of important questions when I dropped off Greta which made it clear she was thinking ahead and trying to create an environment that my girl could be happy in. I'm so appreciative of Natalie's considerate approach.”

About: I’ve had multiple pets since I was a kid, and currently have 3 dogs of my own. 2 of them are seniors at 12 years old, one is 7. I have experience with rescues, as well as all different types of breeds and sizes. I’m happy to meet your pet where they’re at, whether that’s a good walk, exercise, throwing the ball, or just providing a lap to cuddle. I am able to administer medication as well as shots as needed. I have experience with diabetic animals as well as thyroid problems. My own pets have had various quirky needs so I am happy to follow your instructions on how to give the best care for your babies. I have no problem attending to whatever routine is going to make them comfortable =) I work from home and set my own schedule so I am available at any time of day, any day of the week. My 3 dogs hang out with me all day, so I’m happy to share some of that love with your pets as well. I have a fully fenced in backyard, with a nice walkable neighborhood. I am happy to stay with your pet in their home as well, whatever is best to keep them comfortable.
About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life—from guinea pigs and fish to dogs and birds—and I truly love them all. I have a senior dog of my own, so I’m familiar with the extra care and attention older pups need, including those with special needs. Whether it’s playtime, quiet companionship, or sticking to a specific routine, I’m dedicated to making sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved. I'm a mom to a sweet 6-month-old baby boy, and we spend our weekdays at my best friend Emily’s home in Portage, where we care for a small group of kids—including her two daughters. We absolutely love our daily routine, and we’d be thrilled to welcome some furry friends into the mix! Your pup will be surrounded by love, attention, and a safe, kid- and dog-friendly environment. There are plenty of adults and kids at the house at all times that would love to love on your dog! We look forward to meeting your furry family member!
About: Hi my name is Abi, I am a recent college grad of Western Michigan’s College of Aviation! While I am a pilot, I am in a waiting period to move. I have a Silver Lab puppy named Stetson, who is the sweetest and most excited little man! I have grown up with all kinds of animals! I can take care of your furry friend most days! I am home most days and enjoy walks along our trails near our apartment or near your home! I do not have a yard, however there are 7 miles of walking trails around me, lots of open space to throw the ball, and my apartment is puppy friendly! I do have a silver lab puppy who is 9 months, but he loves everything and everyone and we have never had an issue with another pup!
“Kennedy was awesome. Very friendly, responsive and amazing with my dog. I got lots of updates, photos and videos and she was kind enough to take my request last minute. Will use again if I’m in the area!”

About: Hello, my name is Kat, and I am an MFA graduate in poetry from the University of Maryland, but I'm originally from the Bay City / Saginaw area. I am a current PhD student in poetry at Western Michigan University where I also teach English Composition 101. I live in/nearby the Vine neighborhood close by downtown with access to neighborhood walking and nearby dog parks. I'm also happy to take your doggy for a field trip to their favorite dog park or nature trail! I often walk up to 4 miles a day, so I look forward to bringing your dog along for some of the adventure! I am available to feed animals, take care of potty business, provide play time, take them to the park, give them love, brush/groom (with instruction if needed), and give medications depending on your dog's temperament (instructions needed). I may be available for additional services depending on the request / depending on the animal. Cats are my favorite animal and as a lifetime owner of cats, I am often able to work with all of their different personalities and love them for it! Here to provide pets, play time, food, and clean up fur balls, and litter boxes, etc. I can help with medications, too, depending on your cat's temperament (instructions needed!) As a grad student, I have pretty flexible hours during the school year, only teaching one class and then taking classes. We can communicate nuances in my schedule when the time comes, but generally, I have room to maneuver. I am available for Meet and Greets: In person Meet and Greets are welcomed and preferred! FaceTime or online meetings are welcomed, too, to discuss specific expectations or specific details about your pet(s) before services. I've owned dogs and cats my entire life and I've always found animals to be a source of comfort. I believe interacting with animals through walks and nurture is a way to repay the comfort and happiness animals give us, and I look forward to creating a bond with your pet(s) that can be beneficial for them both physically and mentally. Thank you for your interest and consideration! I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) soon! -Kat As a grad student who only teaches one class a semester, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule allowing me to spoil your pet with plenty of drop ins, walks, or longer visits. I do, however, have my own cat, so I won't be able to do more than three nights away from my home at a time and I will need to be able to return to my home at some point everyday to take care of her and spend at least 2 hours with her, but I will still have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby! Small dogs are welcome in my home! This fall I teach Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:00 am-12:15 pm and have office hours until 1:30 on those days as well. On Wednesdays I have class 6:30-9 pm. My independent studies will create other small nuances in my schedule which may be subject to change, so we can discuss. As a past owner of a skittish, black cat, I'm really good with all cat / animal personalities and have gained patience and intuition in respecting individual animal boundaries and creating trust, and eventually a unique bond. I live on the second floor of an apartment house and have a large balcony for fresh air away from direct traffic and foot-traffic to allow your dog some relaxing outdoor time. I am also an avid walker, often walking 4 miles a day and can guarantee I'll be able to keep your dog under control and engaged.
