Ruby seems like a kind person and the animals were happy when I came home. However, she didn’t follow the pet care instructions. The day I left, my animals were left alone for close to eight hours. Even though I mentioned to her that they need to be seen more often. She didn’t spend the night the first night. She left around 2am and returned after 11 am. I reminded her that I expect the animals to have someone with them overnight. The litter boxes were not cleaned for around 31 hours. I had to ask her to do them. There was tons of dog poo on my deck that I cleaned up when I got home and the home smelled horribly. I wonder if she threw the litter remnants in the trash, because that is what it smelled like. I only got a few updates about my pets. One time she didn’t respond for 16 hours to my inquiry about how they were doing. I’ve used Rover for quite some time now and have had good experiences. Unfortunately, I spent a good part of my trip out of town worrying about the care of my animals.

Ruby was dependable and easy to get ahold of. My dogs are usually pretty slow to warm up to strangers, but she put them at ease quickly!

Ruby house sat for our two dogs for a few days. We came home to a clean house and happy dogs. She was great!

We’ve had such a great experience with Ruby watching Bubbles over time. She’s always dependable, communicative, and so caring with her. It’s clear that she really enjoys spending time with Bubbles, and we always know she’s in good hands. Highly recommend her!
