I also have crates available when needed or if your pet is most comfortable having their own secure space. I have watched family, friends and neighbors dogs including feeding, walking, hiking, training, medication dispensing, bathing, mental stimulation and lots of snuggles. I am an empty nester and my husband is a pilot (gone for extended periods of time). I work from home as an accountant. I love dogs and cats. About: Hi! I’m Jeff I currently have 8yo black/white male Husky named Thorik and a 5yo red/white female Husky named Willow. Willow is actually my sisters dog and stays with her, but her and Thorik are together every day out at our family’s place. They are both well balanced dogs and will get along with anyone who decides to come for a visit. They will kiss you to death though so be prepared! I live on my family’s 180 acre old farm in the country just outside of the Otsego/Alamo area. I am out there every single day, especially in the Summer months, so that Thorik has a safe place to play and swim if he wants. Should you decide to book with me, and with your permission, your pets can enjoy unlimited fenced in yard time along with as much swimming as they’d like! I currently work for a Petcare provider here in Kalamazoo. My week consist of multiple visits for multiple clients a day, this does however allow me plenty of time throughout the day to return home and take care of anything I need to, your pets included! Out at the farm I do have a fenced in backyard away from the road that provides the dogs, a safe, secure place to play. Any time the dogs are not outside playing, or they are at my apartment in the evenings, they are inside the house with me free to do as they please.

About: I was born into a family of pet lovers. We have had a wide array of pets in our home-cats, dogs, lizards, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish and more. I have become my church and friends' go-to pet sitter for years. I not only provide the love and care that pets need, I am also a licensed pet massage therapist, so your pet will get extra love! About: I've owned dogs my whole life and I can appreciate every breed. They all deserve love and compassion, and I've recently made room for cats, as well. Pets are family members, so I don't mind lending a hand for family! I have two jobs, but I am hoping to make this a replacement second job. My day job, I get out at 3pm and I have the rest of the day to help out. Of course, I have my own dog, so I'd like to stop home and care for her first before helping out where I'm needed, but other than that, I have a pretty open schedule, especially on the weekends! I will always opt for going to a client's home because I rent my place of living and am limited in bringing around other pets. I will follow any instructions given to me by my clients, and am very good at sending updates!!

About: Hi! My name is Olivia. I started dog walking at my university in California to get my “pet-fix,” only to realize how much I love caring for other people’s pets! I seriously love all animals, from geckos to cats to dogs, and I would be happy to care for your friendly family members. I have been a pet caretaker for 20+ years personally and professionally. I am a certified foster parent for Best Friends of Los Angeles, a certified foster parent for Midcoast Humane Society, and I have also spent two summers as a volunteer dog Walker for the Animal Humane Society. I most recently fostered a pregnant mama cat who gave birth to SEVEN kittens. I am happy to encourage any training techniques that you have been practicing as well reinforce (the much more necessary) attention and cuddles. I am also happy to arrange bathes, training strategies, or different medications per your necessity. I am a medical student, but since a lot of my lectures are online, my schedule is usually flexible. I am usually home and studying but overall, I am an active person who likes getting outside for walks and runs. I love having animals be part of that daily routine. About: My name is Paige and I am currently working at a local dog daycare where I have been employed since February 2017. I also work at a local boarding kennel and am a dog trainer there. I’ve worked there since January 2022. My dogs and I compete in dog sports (dock diving, disc, etc) as much as we can! I have even gotten some clients into it. I went to college for a year in Florida (Lynn University) and studied biology, taking part in their animal welfare club and the zoological society. I have my associate in arts from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. I have a certificate in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University. I also have a certificate of attendance for a canine fitness workshop hosted by Elite K9/Northeast K9/Colorado State University Pueblo. My schedule varies throughout the week as I work a full time job and teach training classes. Please reach out to me about my schedule to accommodate pick up/drop off. I have several personal dogs, so safety is first and foremost for me. I frequently have at least two client dogs staying with me. I utilize crates, baby gates, and x-pens to ensure safety. We live on an acre and it is completely fenced in. If you are looking for a place to board your pup, but want a more intimate and home-like setting, look no further! Rest assured that your dog will be physically and mentally stimulated daily. Dogs are kept in 4’ x 4.5’ x 4.5’ runs with access to water 24/7. All runs include stall mats and/or Kuranda dog beds (cots)- which are great for the older guys and gals! Your dog will be let out at least 3x daily for a minimum of 30 minutes each time for potty breaks. Several hours are spent outside daily for group play if your dog tolerates it. Yard time includes anything and everything your pet loves to do: sniffing, exploring, fetch, pool time, basking in the sun, and playing with other pups (if they are ok with others!). Benebones are included with each run! Blankets/beds/toys are welcomed if your dog is not a chewer or shredder. Otherwise I provide dog-safe bedding. When dogs are not playing, they are resting in their 4.5 x 4.5ft x 4.5ft kennels with comfy raised cot beds (stall mats also available). Due to the large amount of dogs I have here (including my own), this is crucial for their safety and provides structure for all. I currently work split shifts between the daycare, boarding & training, which allows me to be home at random hours of the day to let dogs out. Quieter than a boarding kennel!!! And daycare included! Dogs are kept in spacious kennel runs with their very own comfy beds (personal stuff encouraged if not a shredder!) if they are not outside running around being crazy dogs. My yard is completely fenced.

CATS (very experienced and skilled with cats - my knowledge of them is above and beyond, as I have 2 of my own myself, both rescues.) (2) Rabbits - one was my roommates; the other belongs to a very close friend and her Husband. I am experienced feeding them and I have knowledge of their temperaments and needs. Reptile experience: 2 Snakes (I am not comfortable feeding them mice, however, sorry about that, but I am experienced with humidifying their environments and checking up on them - fearlessly!) Please just ask me! :) My Mom passed away last summer and I decided to move back home to Michigan and take a year off to tend to my Father, being that I’m an only child and he’s my only family left. I am grateful to be back home in Michigan, and I’d like to utilize my free time wisely - pet sitting / house sitting / spending time with animals brings me peace and joy! My career consisted of a tremendous amount of safety and security tasks. I am a reputable individual with drive and passion and I love connecting with people. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur babies!!! I am available in the greater West Michigan area. If you are not in Kalamazooo, I am more than willing to travel to you for a small fee, depending how far it takes for me to drive to you. I want you to be at comfort and ease while you’re away, so I always ask for a little note about your expectations of me, your pet(s) feeding schedule, walking schedule and typical routes, what is ok/not ok in regards to (being on the furniture, offering treats, jumping on people - I don’t mind being jumped on at all by a cute dog, but if that’s something you’re trying to train your dog NOT to do, please note that, for example, so I can contribute to your training rather than mess it up. My home is open to dogs (only one at a time) who are OK being around my cat, Oliver. He has been acclimated with dogs.. and I would typically keep them separated if you want me to watch them in my home. I have an apartment, and we have a nice dog park.. but do keep in mind; I might have to fluctuate your fees depending on what adjustments I may need to make to my home or lifestyle to accommodate your pet in my home temporarily! In your home, I am very respectable and trustworthy (with plenty of references so you feel comfortable). I don’t mind doing light cleaning while I am in your space, I always clean up after myself and your pet while you are away. Again, any expectations of me? Just inform me! :)
