About: I have spent the last 17 years working with herding dogs and workings k9s. For about 14 years I bred, raised and trained some of the nicest AKC Australian Shepherds, some of our bloodlines are still competing in show. We are Currently have my heart dogs the wonderful German shepherd’s! I have thoroughly enjoyed having clients dogs stay with me for short and long term stays for boarding and training. Pets are never left unattended outdoors and are always kept on a leash, cable, or under direct supervision. Inside the home, I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and secure. About: We have a good sized house which we share with our sweet rescue dog, Penelope, 2 kittens, Lilo and Stitch and our almost 2 year old daughter. I offer dog walking, sitting, overnight, part day hang outs and even training! We live near several parks that are dog friendly which we frequent regularly. I've always lived with dogs but began training the family and neighbor's dogs around the age of 10. I want to make note that I understand it is a big responsibility to care for someone else's fur child and that I take it very seriously. I am home each day with my young daughter who is great with animals but in case you prefer she stay separate, we have gates and even a heated barn if full separation is needed. Our old girl has free rein of the house, even our kitties get outside every once in a while but we have the ability to set up a small fenced in area or a zip line style tether, and of course walks as needed. We love to snuggle all furry friends but also know some prefer their space.

From all the updates she sent, I could tell my girl was relaxed and just being welcomed to be herself. It was clear from the photos provided that Natalie was getting right on her level and that Greta felt secure. I was late droping-off and picking up, but Natalie was so flexible, which I greatly appreciated. I'm really looking forward to seeing Greta get even more comfortable there, and it just felt like the right fit. I really trusted that Natalie would use good judgement if any issues were to arise, and they actually live a couple doors down from a vet. I could tell Natalie was confident in this role, my dog felt safe and cared for, and I could enjoy my time knowing that she was in capable hands. Greta was so calm when I picked her up, when normally she seems a little frantic to be back with me (even at my mom's)-- if you're looking for a chill place for your pet to feel at ease, this is it. Natalie also asked a lot of important questions when I dropped off Greta which made it clear she was thinking ahead and trying to create an environment that my girl could be happy in. I'm so appreciative of Natalie's considerate approach.”
About: I grew up on and farm and I’ve had animals my whole life. I believe animals make the best company. As of right now I only have a grand puppy. I recently lost my mini schnauzer she was 17 so I may be adding a new member to our family soon. I would like to spend sometime with your animals and spoil them. I live inKalamazoo in a pet friendly condo complex with not only an extensive yard but with walking trails near by. I’m very comfortable with opening my home to Your pet and making them feel like they belong. I already have plenty of toys and things to keep them busy.
