I’m home full-time for most of the day, with only school drop-offs/pick-ups and occasional errands taking me away. Because of that, I have a very flexible schedule and can provide frequent potty breaks, typically every 1–2 hours, as well as regular check-ins, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I love being home and having animals around, so pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle rather than feeling like just another job. 🐾 I tailor care to each pet’s individual needs, personality, routine, and comfort level. For boarding and doggy daycare in my home, pets become part of our household routine with plenty of attention, supervised play, potty breaks, and downtime. I have a large home and a country setting, so there’s room for pets to be comfortable and enjoy their time here. For dog sitting and walks, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible—including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, potty breaks, and any special instructions. I’m home full-time for the most part, so I’m able to provide frequent care and attention rather than leaving pets alone for long stretches. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. About: Lifetime pet owners of cats and dogs alike, Maeve and Jason have shared decades of pet-sitting duties for friends and family and all that entails from crate training to medication administration. We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions.
 Our home is very dog-friendly but to that end, kept very clean. We do tick checks and our girls are always up to date with their vaccinations and preventative meds. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

About: I grew up on and farm and I’ve had animals my whole life. I believe animals make the best company. As of right now I only have a grand puppy. I recently lost my mini schnauzer she was 17 so I may be adding a new member to our family soon. I would like to spend sometime with your animals and spoil them. I live inKalamazoo in a pet friendly condo complex with not only an extensive yard but with walking trails near by. I’m very comfortable with opening my home to Your pet and making them feel like they belong. I already have plenty of toys and things to keep them busy. About: I have cared for my German Shepherd for 10+ years now in addition to dog sitting through Rover and friends’ dogs for 7 years. My German Shepherd, Layla gets along great with all dogs and your dog is sure to have a great time with us as well as receiving top quality service. I currently work from home Monday through Friday and am usually around on weekends! I currently live in a house with a nice backyard for you pup to play in. Because of my work/life flexibility I am able to provide top level service so you never have to worry about your dog being left alone for a long period of time. In my home your dog will be free to roam around without having to be caged as well as the ability to relax on my bed, sofa, or my dog’s dog bed. I will always be around to make sure your dog is well taken care of and all their needs are met. Your dog will get plenty of outdoors time as well as enjoying comfortable air conditioning in the home. My flexible schedule allows me to provide constant care for your dog. Your dog will have someone close by at all times so there is no need to worry. I am responsive to all concerns and issues and will be available to reply whenever there is a concern. In addition you will receive pictures and updates throughout your pets stay on how they are doing.

About: I’m an attorney and moved to Granger recently. I have been on Rover for a few years (previously in Chicago and Colorado). I’ve had a cat since I was 7 years old, have worked with horses (not that I’m expecting to actually pet-sit any horses), and just adore animals. I have a 7 year old cat and a 1 1/2 year old dog. Experience with long term care of large pit bull that needed training assistance in Arizona. If you are not in Kalamazooo, I am more than willing to travel to you for a small fee, depending how far it takes for me to drive to you. I want you to be at comfort and ease while you’re away, so I always ask for a little note about your expectations of me, your pet(s) feeding schedule, walking schedule and typical routes, what is ok/not ok in regards to (being on the furniture, offering treats, jumping on people - I don’t mind being jumped on at all by a cute dog, but if that’s something you’re trying to train your dog NOT to do, please note that, for example, so I can contribute to your training rather than mess it up. My home is open to dogs (only one at a time) who are OK being around my cat, Oliver. He has been acclimated with dogs.. and I would typically keep them separated if you want me to watch them in my home. I have an apartment, and we have a nice dog park.. but do keep in mind; I might have to fluctuate your fees depending on what adjustments I may need to make to my home or lifestyle to accommodate your pet in my home temporarily! In your home, I am very respectable and trustworthy (with plenty of references so you feel comfortable). I don’t mind doing light cleaning while I am in your space, I always clean up after myself and your pet while you are away. Again, any expectations of me? Just inform me! :)
