About: We had a small dog when our children were out of high school and our world revolved around him. We miss him a lot since he crossed the rainbow bridge but I am lucky to be a grandma to 5 dogs—a Saint Bernard, a chihuahua mix, 2 terrier mixes and a German Shepherd mix. All rescue dogs with some quirky personality traits that make them a challenge and fun. I have also cared for my sister’s senior Maltese and a neighbor’s senior Boxer. Dogs are my favorite animal and I just love spending time with them! I recently retired from being a paraprofessional at a local school so I have a pretty flexible schedule. My husband works on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays so those days I am much more available but he is flexible if I’m working or have something scheduled. We live out in the country and have a fenced in yard so dogs can play and have some fun time running free. Our neighborhood is safe to walk dogs (we used to walk our little guy around the block daily—1 1/4 miles) and there are also 2 parks close by that we could walk if they seem bored with the block.

You’re welcome to send me messages about dates and about your pet. I’ll do my best to help out! I live in a large house, multiple floors. I have a large backyard with a leash anchor. Your pet will be my main focus for the duration of their stay whether it be training or sitting. The same goes for sitting or training in your home as well. I adapt well to new houses, don’t mind cats as well. I like to keep clean around the house, and I do offer deep cleaning as an extra.

About: I grew up on and farm and I’ve had animals my whole life. I believe animals make the best company. As of right now I only have a grand puppy. I recently lost my mini schnauzer she was 17 so I may be adding a new member to our family soon. I would like to spend sometime with your animals and spoil them. I live inKalamazoo in a pet friendly condo complex with not only an extensive yard but with walking trails near by. I’m very comfortable with opening my home to Your pet and making them feel like they belong. I already have plenty of toys and things to keep them busy. “Natalie is incredibly self-possessed, which creates a sense a calmness around her that Greta reacted to right away. From all the updates she sent, I could tell my girl was relaxed and just being welcomed to be herself. It was clear from the photos provided that Natalie was getting right on her level and that Greta felt secure. I was late droping-off and picking up, but Natalie was so flexible, which I greatly appreciated. I'm really looking forward to seeing Greta get even more comfortable there, and it just felt like the right fit. I really trusted that Natalie would use good judgement if any issues were to arise, and they actually live a couple doors down from a vet. I could tell Natalie was confident in this role, my dog felt safe and cared for, and I could enjoy my time knowing that she was in capable hands. Greta was so calm when I picked her up, when normally she seems a little frantic to be back with me (even at my mom's)-- if you're looking for a chill place for your pet to feel at ease, this is it. Natalie also asked a lot of important questions when I dropped off Greta which made it clear she was thinking ahead and trying to create an environment that my girl could be happy in. I'm so appreciative of Natalie's considerate approach.”

About: I have grown up surrounded by animals. I started taking care of pets on my own at the age of seven, and I’ve loved doing it ever since. I currently have two rescues of my own, and have experience in senior care. I currently work from home and have an open schedule. I have availability for a fixed schedule or just whenever you need the extra help. I know how important routine is in a pets life, whatever directions are given will be followed. And they will get plenty of cuddles and playtime.

About: I've had a dog since I was 3 and currently have my own 2 year old doggo that I got in Jan 2022. Neighbors and friends rely on me to pet sit for them. I have experience with all sized dogs. I also has experience with cat sitting as well! Me and my roommates currently foster cats. I’m a part-time student at WMU. I class 12-3 on Wednesdays, but other than that I’m pretty much free. I do have a dog of my own and need to care for him as well. I'm willing to do anything the pet needs whether that be making sure the animal take needed meds, changing wound dressings, or running around a dog park. I'm also very patient with animals!

About: I have had dogs in my life for 57 years. I have had 2 miniature poodles and 2 standard poodles. I have trained them all. I currently do door dash part-time. I have plenty of time to take care of your loved pet. I have time to walk your dog, play with your dog and even train your dog if you’d like. I have a nice yard, and I live in a beautiful modular home park. We have a dog park here for your dog to play.

About: We have a good sized house which we share with our sweet rescue dog, Penelope, 2 kittens, Lilo and Stitch and our almost 2 year old daughter. I offer dog walking, sitting, overnight, part day hang outs and even training! We live near several parks that are dog friendly which we frequent regularly. I've always lived with dogs but began training the family and neighbor's dogs around the age of 10. I want to make note that I understand it is a big responsibility to care for someone else's fur child and that I take it very seriously. I am home each day with my young daughter who is great with animals but in case you prefer she stay separate, we have gates and even a heated barn if full separation is needed. Our old girl has free rein of the house, even our kitties get outside every once in a while but we have the ability to set up a small fenced in area or a zip line style tether, and of course walks as needed. We love to snuggle all furry friends but also know some prefer their space.
