“Ellie did a fantastic job watching my pup and was a pleasure to work with! She made sure Ophie’s needs were met and provided a great environment for her to get her energy out. I got plenty of updates during her stay, and she came home relaxed and happy. I highly recommend Ellie’s services!!”

“Rebecca took great care of my dog during a long daytrip for work. She sent photos of him throughout the day and he really seemed to enjoy his day hanging out with her. Ozzy gives his stay five stars!”

“Julie and her husband, Joe, took good care of Obi. It was his first time staying with them. Julie sent me a picture and video of Obi having a good time. Their dog Barron was not home to play with, but I think they played with Obi and gave him lots of attention.”

About: I grew up on and farm and I’ve had animals my whole life. I believe animals make the best company. As of right now I only have a grand puppy. I recently lost my mini schnauzer she was 17 so I may be adding a new member to our family soon. I would like to spend sometime with your animals and spoil them. I live inKalamazoo in a pet friendly condo complex with not only an extensive yard but with walking trails near by. I’m very comfortable with opening my home to Your pet and making them feel like they belong. I already have plenty of toys and things to keep them busy. I regularly babysit my grand puppy who is use to having other dogs around. I would really enjoy getting to know you and your pet, hope to accommodate you soon. Thank you Trina
“We’ve sent our puppy for “daycare” to Melissa a handful of times now. We can tell she really loves working with dogs and Finn loves his days there. There’s usually at least one other dog for him to play with, plus lots of attention from the people, so he’s in heaven. He comes home happy and ready for a long nap. We love the updates she sends! At least 1-2 cute videos/pictures every day.”
“Daryl had a great visit with Natalie and loved playing with her dog. Natalie was accommodating, responsive and sent lots of pictures and videos. We would book again!”

“Thanks again for providing great care to my dog, Sarah! I’m so glad your dogs and Moe get along so well. That’s great. Sarah is an awesome dog sitter if you’re looking for one.”

“Kristi was a godsend for us! We traveled from St. Louis to Kalamazoo for a funeral and were worried about leaving our daughter’s golden retriever Buffy with strangers. But Kristi and her children were fabulous! They treated Buffy like their own treasured pet. Buffy bonded with their dog immediately, and she didn’t care that we left. She was so happy playing with the children and their dog. We took her back for a couple of hours the next day, and Buffy was thrilled to see her friends again. I wish we lived closer so we could use Kristi over and over. She really was the best!”

“Gunner absolutely loves going to Heidi’s house!! He gets to play with the kids and enjoy her closed in fence. Every time I pick up Gunner he is happy but worn out from a fun filled day! We will always keep Heidi in mind when Gunner needs a day of exciting activity while his mom is at work!”

“Adaora and Cairo were very welcoming. Adaora sent pictures and made sure to jeep me informed on.my pup's day. They went on walks and played in the back garden. Cairo is all legs and love and definitely made for good company.”

About: I've had a dog since I was 3 and currently have my own 2 year old doggo that I got in Jan 2022. Neighbors and friends rely on me to pet sit for them. I have experience with all sized dogs. I also has experience with cat sitting as well! Me and my roommates currently foster cats. I’m a part-time student at WMU. I class 12-3 on Wednesdays, but other than that I’m pretty much free. I do have a dog of my own and need to care for him as well. I'm willing to do anything the pet needs whether that be making sure the animal take needed meds, changing wound dressings, or running around a dog park. I'm also very patient with animals!
About: We had a small dog when our children were out of high school and our world revolved around him. We miss him a lot since he crossed the rainbow bridge but I am lucky to be a grandma to 5 dogs—a Saint Bernard, a chihuahua mix, 2 terrier mixes and a German Shepherd mix. All rescue dogs with some quirky personality traits that make them a challenge and fun. I have also cared for my sister’s senior Maltese and a neighbor’s senior Boxer. Dogs are my favorite animal and I just love spending time with them! I recently retired from being a paraprofessional at a local school so I have a pretty flexible schedule. My husband works on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays so those days I am much more available but he is flexible if I’m working or have something scheduled. We live out in the country and have a fenced in yard so dogs can play and have some fun time running free. Our neighborhood is safe to walk dogs (we used to walk our little guy around the block daily—1 1/4 miles) and there are also 2 parks close by that we could walk if they seem bored with the block.

About: I've cared for all breeds and sizes of cats, dogs and various other creatures in my life since I was a child. I am trauma informed, science backed, and consent based in everything I do. I am force free/fear free. I don’t use any aversives with any animal. I follow the most up to date animal science and firmly believe that through positive reinforcement and giving animals agency to opt in or out of most situations is the best way to be in relationship with them. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2019, and am very passionate about animal care and am excited to get to know you and your fur babes! My first love was a husky mix named Dutchess. I was a rough and tumble three-year-old and she looked like a furry loaf of bread with rolled up newspapers for legs, who never let me out of her sight until the day she crossed over the rainbow bridge. And thus began my love affair with pretty much all animals. Each pet has their own unique personality and style. I adapt to your pet's needs and wants. If they want cuddles, if they want space, if they want to run around in the back yard and play catch or tug-o-war then that is what we are going to do! My aim is to make them and you, happy with the stellar care they are being given. Animals have always been an integral part of my life, and I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to love and care for them and provide for my own family as well. <3 Animal care and companionship is my life. I work with animals multiple times a day everyday of the week to ensure they get all the enrichment, exercise, attention, and love they want and need. Trusting me with your home and pets is a big deal. Rest assured I will communicate regularly with pictures, videos and text updates throughout our stay together so you can feel at ease with the care of your fur babies.
“I can’t say enough great things about Katherine and her lovely pups/cats! She was incredibly attentive to my pup, communicated clearly and consistently, and truly went above and beyond to care for Percy. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring sitter.”

About: My name is Jasmine J M, although people might say they absolutely LOVE dog sitting, I love sitting for all types of animals in general. I have always had animals in my household; dogs, birds and cats. The best thing about having a cat or dog is that you can take them out for walks. Taking your pet out for walks is great exercise for me and the dog/cat. Besides that, I do not mind bathing our animals to make sure their coat is nice and clean. The best part of working in this field is that, it helps me get experience in going to school for zoology. That bring, working with all types of animals in general. I would love this opportunity and more. I am currently open to work with animals long term. Something that I love doing. In my free time, I am dog sitting or doing local work runs. I have a cozy home, with workable heating and cooling. I live around big dog parks and a lot of my neighbors have dogs. You will see a lot of people walking there dogs around, so my area is pet-friendly.
