But, it only took a few minutes before she joined him in a game of “chase” in Kay’s spacious backyard. When Kat’s other dog, Chewie, ran out to join the fun, all three played together very well. I was very comfortable leaving LiLi with Kat.”

About: I have spent the last 17 years working with herding dogs and workings k9s. For about 14 years I bred, raised and trained some of the nicest AKC Australian Shepherds, some of our bloodlines are still competing in show. About: Im 63 years old. Had pets all my life. I will take care of them like they were my own. There care will be my top priority Im retired after 30 years. I just lost my dog after 16 years. I love all animals. Very healthy love to go for walks daily I live in a quiet subdivision on Scott lake. Very nice place to walk pets. we have nice trails. and place to swim if they like that. And a very comfy home.

About: We had a small dog when our children were out of high school and our world revolved around him. We miss him a lot since he crossed the rainbow bridge but I am lucky to be a grandma to 5 dogs—a Saint Bernard, a chihuahua mix, 2 terrier mixes and a German Shepherd mix. All rescue dogs with some quirky personality traits that make them a challenge and fun. I have also cared for my sister’s senior Maltese and a neighbor’s senior Boxer. Dogs are my favorite animal and I just love spending time with them! I recently retired from being a paraprofessional at a local school so I have a pretty flexible schedule. My husband works on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays so those days I am much more available but he is flexible if I’m working or have something scheduled. We live out in the country and have a fenced in yard so dogs can play and have some fun time running free. Our neighborhood is safe to walk dogs (we used to walk our little guy around the block daily—1 1/4 miles) and there are also 2 parks close by that we could walk if they seem bored with the block.

About: Lifetime pet owners of cats and dogs alike, Maeve and Jason have shared decades of pet-sitting duties for friends and family and all that entails from crate training to medication administration. We have flexible schedules, reliable transportation with dog seatbelts, a large wrap around fully fenced-in yard, and several forested acres with private nature trails to share with your best friend. Maeve is a WFH graphic designer and Jason is a self-employed carpenter living with our two sweet velcro cavalier king charles spaniels — Cricket & Disco. We have very flexible schedules with lots of love and attention to spare. We can easily break away for walks and drop-ins. We live across from Eagle Lake with a large wraparound fully fenced-in yard overlooking 15 private forested acres with trails for leashed nature walks. We have oodles of experience walking, camping, hiking, swimming, and playing with dogs in all environments and elements. Crates and gates are available if your best friend needs their space, but everybody is allowed to make themselves at home. We have lots of cozy nooks and beds. We work to ensure smooth introductions.
 Our home is very dog-friendly but to that end, kept very clean. We do tick checks and our girls are always up to date with their vaccinations and preventative meds. JIC, we have reliable transportation and are not far from Michiana Veterinary Hospital. We are also able to drive to your preferred vet.

About: I am a long time pet owner with a flexible schedule. Retired lifestyle allows for ample loving care. Standard pet meds administered timely. Open yard and groomed trails through a natural fen, perfect for invigorating walks/runs. Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce, special diets don’t upset us. As mentioned above, my retired lifestyle allows for a flexible schedule and the ability to provide ample care on our ten acres of open yard and groomed trails. Your pets care is top priority. I am a proud parent of a 11 lb Chizer and work from home, which allows me to care for your dog throughout the day. My dog gets along with all sized dogs and loves buddies to play with, so your dog will not be alone. I work full time from home and will be around your dog at all times as we never leave our own dog alone. I am able to care for your dog during the weekend as well, as schedules permit. I have a small fenced area to allow your dog to play freely off leash. I also have a huge unfenced yard to take your dog for breaks and to walk around. Food and any medication will be provided per your guidance. Please let me know if your dog has any medical issues in advance so I can care for him/her appropriately.

Your pet will be my main focus for the duration of their stay whether it be training or sitting. The same goes for sitting or training in your home as well. I adapt well to new houses, don’t mind cats as well. I like to keep clean around the house, and I do offer deep cleaning as an extra.
