About: Ive always known my love for animals since I was very little, especially dogs. I’ve volunteered at a dog shelter a few years ago and loved every minute of it. Animals are misunderstood and some haven’t experienced real love from a human. I’ve worked with puppies to older dogs, big and small. Anything from walking, bathing and some commands I was able to teach. I’m no expert though. I do have one dog of my own and I’m currently fostering for Heartland Rescue to get more hands on. I want to take this to the next level and now care for dogs full time if possible. As I continue this, I will open up more services. You’re pet will feel loved by me even when you're away, as if you never left. I do have a third shift job as well so my schedule at the moment is limited but I make sure to keep it up to date every week. If you are unsure, feel free to ask! The same love, joy, and patience that you show to your pet is the same that I will do. I will also keep the same routine you have for your pet if that is what you would like.

I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean up after them, and make sure they get the playtime, walks, or quiet companionship they need. I believe pets feel most secure in their own home because it’s their safe space, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. Being able to care for them in that environment helps build trust and creates a stronger, more positive relationship, making the experience less stressful for both the pet and the owner.

About: Hello, my name’s Anna. I have been taking care of dogs since I was 26. My family got a golden doodle several years ago and he has definitely been a joy and a task. Having a dog such as mine has made me more comfortable in my dog caring skills and fairly knowledgeable about what needs dogs have. I’m also very well equipped to handle puppies as I recently got a cocker spaniel several months ago. But given that, my passion for dogs continues to grow. I now as an independent adult have 2 dogs who I’ve had the pleasure of raising as puppies to where they are at now. I work full time but like to stay active and adding furry friends to the mix on my days off is no big task. I would love to see more dog friends and help them socialize and make someone’s life easier. I don’t have a fenced in back yard, but I am capable of taking dogs on as many walks as needed. I am also capable of putting dogs in a crate and preparing them for crating as long as needed.

About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!

About: I worked as a pet-sitter in the Goshen area during college. I have experience with older dogs and multi-pet households. I’m happy to keep as close to your regular schedule as possible. I’ve just graduated from UND with my MFA and I am looking for a little extra income as I adjust to life post graduate school. My days are totally flexible and I am happy to work around your preferred schedule. I’ve accommodated picky eaters and older pets dealing with incontinence. I have a 14 month old yellow lab/golden retriever mix, she is so funny, so sweet and has such a great personality!! I do have basic training skills! On treat motivated pets lol! Jill I have a great flexible day schedule , I’m available almost any days , I also will do last minute drop ins on a short notice! I will greet your furry babies like they are my own! And I love to give treats when I come in if that’s OK! Then we will go outside for a potty break, have playtime and a walk if requested ! Make sure freshwater is in the water bowls! I can also put your pets in a crate if you need me to before I leave!
