I work from home full time and take breaks throughout the day for walks or to play ball in the backyard. If I have to run errands after work, it’s normally for 2-3 hours at most.

Pet care experience
We always had dogs growing up. I learned basic dog care at 10 years old. When I was a teenager, our first dog became diabetic and I learned how to give her shots. After getting married, my husband and I adopted a German Shepherd puppy and a few years later, I started fostering for Pet Refuge. I have fostered over 50 dogs since then. I’ve taken in puppies that were just separated from their mom as well as older dogs and everyone in between. I’ve had dogs with anxiety, lots of energy, high maintenance, low maintenance and health issues. When my friends and family go out of town, they ask me to watch their dogs for them and fully trust me with their well being.

As always Haley was wonderful, careful, and caring of my 12-year old Corgi, Spooky. Thanks so much for caring enough to let me know when she’s not 100%. I should’ve told you about spooky’s old bowl that stops her from aspirating her food, which was the choking that you heard. But AnyWho, I know she’s had a happy time with you caring for her. Haley is so wonderfully sweet to my little old corgi girl Spooky. I’m so grateful to the kindness and care you show her. She can be ornery, but there’s nothing like a sweet Spooky cuddle. Thanks again for watching her! She was a sleepy happy girl when I got home.
Haley is a most caring dog walker. She confirms details regarding how I feed my dog and that’s really important to me. She lets Spooky out; and takes the time to understand Spooky’s wishes; whether she wants a walk or wants to go back inside. Haley will play with her to fill the time and give her a treat before she leaves…all the things that I would do. She truly has been a blessing to us when I need to be away from home.
