“Lynn is an absolute Godsend! She provided me multiple updates daily including photos. She offered food and health recommendations as well as resources to review and research. Lynn pampered and spoiled ChiChi during our nearly weeklong vacation. I would trust her with my own life, not just my dog’s life. She’s that darn good! I will only use her from now on and recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter!! Thank you again Lynn!!! 🫶🏼”

“This was my dog’s first time boarding and he is a very excited dog, but kudos to Tiffani for taking such great care of our dog. Also appreciate you for taking last minute booking.”

“Lindsay is fabulous! Margot loved her four night stay at her house. she was able to play with the dogs in her care during the day and she was extremely patient with her when she was whining at night in the beginning. I was worried that my six month doodle was going to come back matted after having five days without being brushed. I didn’t need to worry. Lindsay kept on top of the brushing (without being asked to do so). If we ever need a dog sitter in the South Bend area, we will jump at the opportunity to use Lindsay’s services again!”

“Kimberlee and her family loved our dog as if he were their own. They even gave us some training tops for our young dog. I will return again and again for such excellent care!”

He clearly loved them and di so well! We hope to use them for future vacation needs. We could not have asked for a better place for our fur baby to stay while we were gone. ❤️🫶🥰”

“Katherine was amazing with Odie! He stayed with her for five days and kept me updated on him by sending me pictures and brief daily messages. Before Odie's stay, she invited me to the meet and greet so that Odie could get to know her and other members of the household. Our conversation that day, and the way she interacted with Odie, let me know that she would be a perfect caretaker for him. I felt at ease the whole time I was away knowing that he was in good hands. I definitely plan on booking with her again!”

We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such kind hands. Highly recommend!”

“Mariah was great! She came beforehand to do a walkthrough and sent pictures when she stopped by. It was reassuring to know the kitties were well taken care of. Will definitely use Mariah again!”
“Ms. Lauren seems to be new to Rover, but is destined for top billing in Michiana. She was chosen for the convenience of proximity to our drop-in visit home, and turned out to be as outstanding and conscientious as it's possible to be. We've had four Rover visitors over 4 years and two homes, and we say without hesitation that Lauren is the best. Better snap her up before her schedule fills!”

About: I've been taking care of my own and others' pets since I was a baby! I've trained a few puppies on how to sit and stay, come here, and generally behaving better. I promise I'll ensure your pets are not only safe but happy! Please note that I don't accept German Shepherds under 3 years old or Huskies. I have Silence Unknown Callers on, so please be sure to specifically text me about stuff! I can let your dog out to a fenced-in yard on a very consistent basis. I’m starting to work third shift, but my parents are first shift. I have a fenced-in yard, very friendly dog, and three cats to keep your pets entertained and exercising. Whether or not your dog is good with cats, ours will actively avoid the dogs anyway - just so long as your dogs aren’t actively violent towards them.
“Heather truly cares about the pets she’s looking after. I mean the poor woman drove through a blizzard to get to our kitties! She is kind, caring, responsible, and keeps visits to a regular time each day. We will definitely work with her again.”

“Casey recently spent the night with our senior cat who struggles with separation anxiety, and we returned to a very calm and happy kitty! Casey is always very communicative, sending photos and updates during her stay. We're completely comfortable having Casey stay in our home - she always leaves everything just as it was and is very neat and conscientious.”

“Alyssa took great care of our 13-year old cat while we were away. She sent pictures daily and our normally reluctant cat took to her right away. We will definitely book Alyssa again the next time we need a sitter.”

“Syd was very attentive not only to my cats, but to how anxious I was going on my trip and leaving my epileptic cat behind. She was prompt to her check-ins, sent plenty of photos, and confirmed my one pet received her medication after every visit. I appreciated her regular communication while I was out of town and will definitely hire her again!”

“Debra took good care of both my cats and was available during all 4 of their meal times. She played with them and made sure they and the home was clean. She shared pictures of every visit and gave nice updates about each day. Thank you so much for taking care of them!!”

“Lindsay is amazing! She had no problem taking care of my special needs cat - she even cleaned up all the messes he made due to his medical issues. She was prompt, communicated with me the whole trip, and I came home to very happy cats. Definitely will book with her again!”

“Madison was awesome! Being away from my pets is always the worst part of traveling, but she sent me lots of pictures and information about how Chidi was doing. I felt so much happier on my trip knowing he was doing good.”

“Shannon was great with our one-year old puppy. She was very responsive and took the time to get to know us and our dog before staying with her. Shannon was very friendly and asked questions about our dogs temperament, allergies, medications, etc. She was very detailed and came prepared with a notebook and treats for our pup. She sent photo and text updates and our dog had a great time with her. I’d highly recommend Shannon, she is friendly, trustworthy, and caring and she clearly loves dogs and sees them as part of your family.”

About: I got my first cat when I was 9, his name is Nestle. A few years later we got another cat and they had kittens!! I’ve also grown up around cats whether they were my own, my grandparents, or at work!

About: I’ve been a cat owner for 5 years and truly understand their unique personalities and needs. Friends often ask me to look after their cats because I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with felines. I also love cats so much that when I travel, I always choose to stay with host families that have cats — because no trip feels complete without a purring companion nearby.
“As always, Christina took great care of our cat Caesar! This was a last minute trip and Christina accepted without hesitation. It’s been so great having her look after Caesar these past few years and we’ll miss her when we move out of state!”

“I’ve been bringing my dog, Mykonos, to Lynn for daycare, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. Every morning, he gets so excited to go back, which says everything about how comfortable and happy he feels with her. He comes home calm and content, showing no signs of stress or anxiety. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Lynn clearly cares deeply for the dogs she looks after, and I’m grateful for the warm, safe environment she provides.”

“Our dog had such a great time with Lindsay! She sent photo updates and even sent our pup home with a cute bandana. Lindsay was so great with our pup - we will continue to use her for our doggy day care needs.”

I am always available unless I am running errands. I do 2 meals a day and walk in the afternoon. My pets rule the roost. I will take care of your pets as if they are my own. About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. You can always ask if there is room for one more. 😉 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. My animals have always had the run of the house but I can provide a crate if need be. If you need an extended period of time, let me know. My last foster was 6 months old, from a local shelter and was here for over 2 months.

“Michaela did a wonderful job caring for our crazy 3 month old puppy. He was very tired and calm when we picked him up. We also appreciate how flexible she was. We hope to contract her again in the future for day care. Highly recommended!!!”

“I don’t think I can say enough good about Haley and Pierce. Pierce is the perfect combination of laid back and playful. He patiently tolerated her initial over-excitement and then ran and played “chase” with her at the beautiful park where Haley took them. Haley was friendly and professional, providing frequent updates and photos. I will most definitely be using Haley again!”

“Emily and Ryan did a great job watching Hopscotch. They were easy to communicate with and were flexible with my schedule. I would recommend them if you need someone to watch your dog.”

“We contacted Val the morning of and she was more than happy to have our Remington over for daycare on such short notice. We were super pleased with the amount of photos and videos that were shared through her Instagram. We found it to be very convenient on staying updated with our pup's activities. We can tell Remington had a blast and hope to book with her again! Thank you Val!”

“Katherine was great. She took great care of Snuggles. We have an older dog and she made sure she was comfortable with her dogs before we dropped her off. As a bonus she gave her a bath so she came house fluffy and smelling good.”

About: Hi! I have been training and caring for dogs since 2010. I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant and Professional Service, Therapy, and Pet Dog Trainer. I own All About Dogs Training. I train and board dogs out of my home. I have an extremely flexible schedule, so I would be available for all of your pet’s needs at anytime! I live on a 0.5acre lot with a fenced in yard. I have 5 personal dogs who love to play with other dogs of all sizes! I do crate all the dogs in my care overnight and anytime I leave my house.
About: I have three pups. I've fostered for different rescues in the area and can provide references upon request. We've had every type of pup here and haven't ever had to turn one away. I only work about 20 hours a week so I'm home often to love on your pups. I have a completely fenced in backyard and dog doors so your pups can have freedom to play and potty when they need My pup is Ollie, a yellow lab born around 2014. He was a rescue from Homeward Bound animal shelter and is the best boy! Paddy (Padfoot), my Labradooodle was born around 2021 and has such a sweet disposition! He was also adopted from Homeward Bound. My pup Fred Rogers (Chi-Weenie) was also born around 2021 and was actually a client's (turned friend) pup through Rover. My client unfortunately passed but she asked that he stay with me and he has become an amazing part of the family. I've also fostered dogs through SBARC and for Homeward bound. I love helping our furry friends feel comfortable and loved.
“We were very pleased with the care our beagle received. Her back yard is fenced which allowed Spencer to be outside without a leash, which he loves. Will use her again, absolutely!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve potty trained them, taught them how to walk with a leash, taught them tricks like sit stay and say your prayers, and too many to say. I will spoil your fur babies like I do mine. You would never have any worries while you’re away they will be in good hands. I love and enjoy being around dogs and or cats. I’d send you videos and or pictures of your fur baby. Some owners have their fur babies on a schedule if so I will do the same. if there is a park nearby I’d probably take them there. But first I would ask the owner what they would like me to do sense it is their pet. I'm retired so I'm flexible. My routine is the fur babies routine. I'd like to keep it that way for them, so I would need to know. I have a fenced in yard, not big for big dogs tho. They will be fed, played with and cuddled. If they need to be caged I have a large one for their comfort.
“I couldn’t recommend Bailey more! She was incredibly flexible with scheduling, always kept in communication, and truly listened to my needs and concerns. She was punctual every time and made both me and Junior feel comfortable and cared for. Just all-around fantastic service!”

“Emily is always super-reliable in every way and our dog Jilly enjoys walking with her so much that she has stopped barking at the doorbell as she always hopes it might be Emily!”

“Kimberlee was great! She was responsive to my request. She was on time for both walks and sent pictures of Finn. I will definitely use her again in the future and highly recommend that you book her as well.”

“Jamie is awesome! She took great care of out little golden doodle, Julep!! She walked Julep for us 3 times in one long, Notre Dame football game day!! Jamie also took time to stop by and meet us before sitting for Julep the next day!! We will definitely hire Jamie again!!”

About: I love being a pet sitter because I’m just so passionate about dogs (and all other animals too)! Nothing makes me happier than spending time getting to know them and caring for them, so being a sitter really is a dream come true for me. Dedicating my time to keeping them safe, happy, and healthy is always a rewarding experience. Dogs bring so much joy and happiness to our lives, and I love contributing to that, being part of their lives, and giving back all the love they give us! I have years of experience of professional pet sitting/boarding/dog walking in addition to volunteering at various animal shelters. I’m well-versed in obedience and leash training, and am a skilled practitioner of positive reinforcement methods. I enjoy walking a variety of dogs - all breeds, ages, temperaments, personalities, shapes, and sizes - to continuously learn about, and deepen my understanding of canine behavior. I'm also well acquainted with the gamut of leashes, collars, and harnesses out there, and have experience leash training dogs of all ages. On walks, we will bond, learn, communicate, exercise, explore, and always have lots of fun! I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet when taking on a new client, because it’s a great opportunity for us to meet and make sure we are all a good fit for one another. When I meet a dog for the first time, I bring treats (always being mindful to check with the owner about allergies first, of course). Reading the dog’s body language and behavior, I adapt to whatever makes them most comfortable, communicating that I’m happy to be the new best friend! I like getting as much information on each canine client before caring for them – anything and everything from what they love to do, what their favorite toy is, to dietary needs/restrictions and overall personality. The more I know, the better! I don’t prefer any breed preferences; I love them all! During our time together, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Providing high-quality care fueled by my love for animals is the name of my game, so I take to heart the responsibility of keeping pets happy and healthy. I pride myself on providing loving, patient, and professional care that caters to each dog's unique personality, specific needs, and favorite activities. Establishing meaningful relationships with owners and pets, rooted in trust, respect and understanding, is at the heart of my pet care approach. I always aim to give high-quality care, and look forward to providing the best experience imaginable! I’ll always be available if you ever have to get in touch with me for any reason before, during, or after a stay, and I’ll make sure you’re kept up to date on every important detail as well. I love sending owners pictures of their pups having fun, so you can definitely look forward to that as well!
“Lindsay was great! Very quick to respond and could walk Remy on short notice. Her and her kids even stayed to play with him a little in the house!! Would definitely recommend her to anyone”

About: Hello, my name’s Anna. I have been taking care of dogs since I was 26. My family got a golden doodle several years ago and he has definitely been a joy and a task. Having a dog such as mine has made me more comfortable in my dog caring skills and fairly knowledgeable about what needs dogs have. I’m also very well equipped to handle puppies as I recently got a cocker spaniel several months ago. But given that, my passion for dogs continues to grow. I now as an independent adult have 2 dogs who I’ve had the pleasure of raising as puppies to where they are at now. I work full time but like to stay active and adding furry friends to the mix on my days off is no big task. I would love to see more dog friends and help them socialize and make someone’s life easier. I don’t have a fenced in back yard, but I am capable of taking dogs on as many walks as needed. I am also capable of putting dogs in a crate and preparing them for crating as long as needed.
About: My family always had a pet dog. As a kid I would feed and walk dogs in the neighborhood while they were out of town. As I grew older I would stay at family or friend's homes if they went out of town. I'm in search of a similar situation in South Bend - dog walking and light housework included! Weekdays I can stop in and let the dog(s) out for bathroom breaks. On weekends/evenings I can stay at your home so that the dog is familiar and will make myself available 100% during that time. I prefer to stay or drop in to my client's home. I find that the dog is more familiar/comfortable this way too. I am happy to do a test run so that everyone feels comfortable/familiar!
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve worked with playful puppies, independent cats, and senior pets who need extra patience and attention. I love getting to know each pet’s personality—whether that means long walks, playtime, or quiet cuddles—and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel like they’re with a friend, not just a sitter. Pet care is already part of my daily routine because I care for my own cat every day, from feeding and cleaning the litter box to playtime and making sure she feels loved and comfortable. Having my own pet has made me attentive to routines, behavior changes, and the small details that help animals feel safe and cared for. I also love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or giving them the attention and exercise they need. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and make time for every day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, clean up after them, and make sure they get the playtime, walks, or quiet companionship they need. I believe pets feel most secure in their own home because it’s their safe space, surrounded by familiar smells and routines. Being able to care for them in that environment helps build trust and creates a stronger, more positive relationship, making the experience less stressful for both the pet and the owner.
“Heather does outstanding with my two girls! My littlest baby lupita who has always been very fearful of strangers absolutely loves her. She usually takes a while to warm up to new people but met heather the first day and loved her. My oldest girl Nana is a big love bug so she of course had to be all over her the first day she met her. Heather made the process of trusting someone other than myself to love and care for my babies as I would a very easy and stressless process. She accommodated all the special needs of my girls, checked in frequently, and answered any questions I had. She was very flexible with her schedule when a change of walking time was needed. I have nothing but good things to say about heather and could not have picked a better person to trust my baby girls with.”

About: I love walking dogs and I make sure I have 2 water bottles for me and the dog(s) or cats. I’m a local, so I know all the hip spots where the dogs like to mingle. I can also care for sick pets and have experience with dogs having seizures and cats with diabetes. I’m willing to learn the proper way to care for your pet when they are in my care. If your pet has any special needs please inform me in full. I can currently only pet sit small dogs and cats in my current residence. A little info about me: I’m a local recent college grad involved in the artistic community around South Bend IN. I work for a local book store and have flexible hours. Mondays - Wednesdays my schedule is more giving. Thursday-Saturday, I am free after 3PM to care for your pet family. I work in the NN Neighborhood, so I’ll finish up at the book shop and can take your pets on a nice walk through the neighborhood. When I am home sitting for a pet parent, I’d like to know if the pets is on a specific schedule and if they are in need any medications. I spend time with the animals sitting outside in the yard or inside the home for pets who cannot handle outside weather conditions. If you have cats, I’ll make sure their litter box is clean when I leave and that all water and food bowls are filled.
About: Ive always known my love for animals since I was very little, especially dogs. I’ve volunteered at a dog shelter a few years ago and loved every minute of it. Animals are misunderstood and some haven’t experienced real love from a human. I’ve worked with puppies to older dogs, big and small. Anything from walking, bathing and some commands I was able to teach. I’m no expert though. I do have one dog of my own and I’m currently fostering for Heartland Rescue to get more hands on. I want to take this to the next level and now care for dogs full time if possible. As I continue this, I will open up more services. You’re pet will feel loved by me even when you're away, as if you never left. I do have a third shift job as well so my schedule at the moment is limited but I make sure to keep it up to date every week. If you are unsure, feel free to ask! The same love, joy, and patience that you show to your pet is the same that I will do. I will also keep the same routine you have for your pet if that is what you would like.

I have a full time job, which ends at 2:00pm. From 2:00pm until bed I spend with my dog whether it be training, or walking. I spend a minimum of 2 hours a day training with Beau. I believe that your dog can fit right in and be in a comfortable, safe, home away from home. I do not have a fenced in yard yet but I’m outside every time my pups go out. If need be, I have leashes I can use to let your pup outside as well.
“Haley is AMAZING! She took care of my 15 week old puppy last minute, and was super communicative. She sent photos and updates, as well as took him to socialize and made sure he was well taken care of. THANK YOU!”
