I’ve owned many small animals over the course of my childhood… hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, bunnies, mice, many types of fish, as well as a leopard gecko… and then I owned my first dog at age 17 whom I had until she passed at 15 years old. During that time I also branched out into other areas like working as a Veterinary Technician in a few different clinics and then as a Dog Groomer… and found my niche with caring for pets as well as grooming them. I love all of it so much! I’m also working on becoming a Dog Trainer through Rover as well, and my own dog I have now who is 5 years old, a Standard Poodle named Perdita, is very well behaved, knows many tricks, and she is also a big sweetheart.

My perspective on dogs and cats is that they have a unique personality that is not the same as humans. They have different needs than we do and I honor and respect this difference. For example, you won’t see me coddling someone’s dog during a thunderstorm because I know that’s not what’s best for them… but you will see me having a presence and feeding them treats while I’m there if that’s what I think will help them in that moment. I want them to gain confidence and be more comfortable in what can be an uncomfortable situation for them. Not projecting feelings onto (our) pets is something that is important to me! I can come for daily visits if needed for walking or playing fetch in your back yard, as examples, and care for them in any way needed. Or if you need dog grooming care you can bring them to my house or I can give baths and do their nails at your house!

Schedule
I currently groom dogs out of my home as well as do DoorDash, so my schedule is very flexible to be able to help with any of your petcare needs!
