Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced in yard and barriers within the home to keep your pup separated if need be. Our dogs are very welcoming but some guests are nervous upon leaving their owners. We are able to keep them separate until they’re comfortable enough to join the rest of the pack or use it if they have any food aggressions and need to be fed separately.

Home

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 2 dogs, has cats
No children present

Information Rachael H. would like to know about your pet

Is there any food or toy aggression? Good with cats? How are they with intact male dogs? Would you prefer them to free roam or crate sleep at night?

A typical day

Quiet neighborhood walks. Most of our town is filled with sidewalks, so we are able to avoid walking directly in the road. Jeep rides! Nearby dog park! Fenced in back yard! Lots of tug o' war and ball fetching! If your pup is too tired to play, we're good at couch snuggles too!

Pet care experience

What better person to care for your dog than the girl who is CPR trained, and has raised and trained 2 puppies and 2 kittens under the age of 3 months all at once?! I am an avid animal lover with a high tolerance for the craziness that dogs can bring. As I said, I am CPR trained, but should something happen (I am VERY cautious regardless), there is a Veterinarian's office less than 10 minutes from our home. My puppies and I love to take walks around our quiet Hopkins neighborhood. There is a nearby park for the dogs to run, if they desire! We're also very good at couch snuggles, tug of war and fetch! If allowed, we do take topless Jeep rides. We have dog-friendly seat belts that hook directly to your dog's collar!

My dog was so happy with Rachael. It was clear that she loves animals and understands them as soon as we met. She treated Nova like her own pet. Nova got to play with Rachael's dogs, and run around in a fenced in yard. She slept like a rock when we got home! We hope to use Rachael's services again when we travel!

Rachel did a great job caring for our pups at her home. She treated them as her own and provided us with updates and pics. I would highly recommend Rachel!

Highly recommend! I felt very comfortable leaving my babies with Rachael, and when I picked them up they were happy and tired from playing! We have definitely found our new go-to Rover sitter!
