About: I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood and enjoy a peaceful home environment. I work, stay active in my church, and love winding down with a good book or movie. I’m down-to-earth and will treat your dog like family. My daughter, who’s now abroad, used to dog sit and encouraged me to try it myself—knowing how much I love dogs, even though I’m not ready to have one full-time. I often helped her with dog sitting before she left, and truly enjoyed the companionship. It would be a blessing to care for your pet and offer you peace of mind. I’m flexible, reliable, and would have a great time making sure your dog feels safe and loved. I work hybrid, which means your pet will have plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I love taking regular breaks to go on walks, give belly rubs, or just relax with a furry friend nearby. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate feeding routines, bathroom breaks, and any special care your pet may need. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly apartment with plenty of space for your dog to relax comfortably. While I don’t have a backyard, I take regular walks in safe, green areas nearby and always supervise outdoor time. I follow your care instructions closely, including feeding, medications, and routines, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos. Whether in my home or yours, I provide calm, attentive care to help your pet feel secure and loved.

About: I have been a pet owner (cats, dogs, birds, rodents) for more than 25 years. I have done some pet sitting on and off for friends and family for years. I also foster dogs for a local rescue and have experience leash training puppies. I am always caring for my two cats and dog with playtime and long walks. I do work full-time, but I have evening and weekend availability. I have a huge fenced-in backyard with plenty of room to run and play fetch. I have a medium-sized dog who loves to go for walks and run in the yard. He’s very chill.

About: I've been taking care of dogs for most of my life. Puppies to the end of life care. I also volunteer with Harbor Humane society. Pet care is my real day to day joy. Currently, this is a side job, but I would love to have regulars and make this a full time gig! I have training from Dog Gurus, in dog behavior. I have worked at dog kennels, and have training in dog handling of rescues. I want to show your dog to not be afraid and to enjoy our time together.

About: I have had pets for as long as I can remember. My sisters and I would bring home stray pets knowing once our mom saw them she wouldn't say no. At one time, we had 3 dogs and five cats. I currently have a boxer/ rat terrier/ coonhound mix named Bentley. I have dog sat for family friends and love having extra snuggles and wet kisses. I know its hard to leave our fur babies behind and look forward to having the trust to care for them and put your mind at ease. Very flexible and can accommodate most schedules on potty breaks and exercise. We take frequent walks around the neighborhood and have a nice big park across the road. We recently adopted a new addition to our family, Bandit. ❤️ He’s a 1.5 year old heeler mix, socialized, and fostered with puppies. He’s happy to make new friends.

About: I have owned dogs for over 15 years. I've been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up around large German Shepherds, a Doberman and too many cats to count. Today I have much smaller dogs. Mr. Miygai is around 19lbs and looks like a terrier mix but is part Chi and part Mini Poodle. Zoe is all stumpy tail Cattle dog mix and about 30lbs. Both love other dogs and get along great with them. Mr does prefer smaller dogs. Over the years I have owned 2 Dachshunds and a Sheltie Mix who was deaf. My Doxies lived to be 15 years old and one survived back surgery. I have experience taking care of young and old dogs. I am very comfortable with providing medication as well. I would love to take care of your dogs and treat them like they are my own. Currently taking a break from the corporate world. Have a lot of time to help others. Available most days of the week including weekends to take care of animals. I have a fenced yard and 2 of my own dogs. They have free roam of the house and yard. Dogs are treated as family.

About: I have had cats and dogs since I was a kid and raised and trained multiple dog breeds, including German Shepard’s, Shelties, and Grey hounds. Animals have always taken a liking to me and I have had a passion for wanting to care for animals for as long as I can remember! I will love and care for your fur baby as if it was my own! I currently work a full time job out of the house but have some work from home flexibility. I am available for weekend and evening care and some weekly daytimes. I have a fully fenced in yard with lots of room to run and play! I like to be active, so your fur baby is always welcome to join for walks, hikes, and various adventures and even some pup cups if mom/dad approve! I am very trustworthy and respectful of your home and belongings.

About: I have always had dogs growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I've taken care of dogs ranging in all different sizes and breeds most my life. I have experience in dog care from volunteering at Harbor Humane Society's and animal shelters along with caretaking for dogs at home. I have experience in catering to old and newborn dogs aswell as dogs that require medications and "extra" help around the house. I’m currently in college and have plenty of time to care for animals. I'm more than happy to be of some service for your furry best friend! I care for pets as if they are my own and treated with the utmost respect and safety as if they were royalty. If they need any special treatment or needs I will gladly accommodate them. Examples would be crates, treats, medicine, routines, animal food, etc. Unfortunately rover takes 20% of all earnings, which is due to the price increase if you’ve booked with us before, thank you for your understanding.

About: As a former pet owner of two dogs and working at a vet office for eight years has given me hands on experience which I treasured. I’m that person who will remember a dogs name before the owners name. 🤪. I’m new to Rover and look forward to meeting new pets. I’m recently retired and would rather walk with a dog than alone. This would be a seasonal “job” which is more therapeutic than anything. I have been a responsible pet owner so doggy bags will be used and litter box cleaned. Taking care of pets is a joy for me.

About: My Golden Retriever, Dutch, loves animals of all sizes! I provide pet sitting in my home and welcome your best friend to stay while you are away. Walks around our quiet neighborhood and trips to the dog park (if appropriate) are part of our pet sitting package. I take only one dog at a time (two if from the same family) to ensure your dog has a special stay while you are away! I work remotely several days a week, and close by and can come home as needed when scheduled ahead. I also have a puppy cam to keep an eye on things while I am away! Lifelong dog mom, caring for other dogs brings me a sense of joy! My home is clean and safe for your dog. I have a field behind me and Dutch enjoys laying in the sun and snow in our back yard. Your dog will be walked daily and can be contained in the back yard if they enjoy being outside. I have references upon request and a long history raising and caring for dogs.

About: I have had dogs my whole life as well as taking care of neighbor’s / family friend’s dogs. I love to cuddle and play for as long as they need. I make sure that they m feel comfortable and safe. However, my love for them does not mean they can do whatever they please and I will make sure they abide by the owners specific instructions. Any day I am free. I am currently taking the semester off in college and need a job to keep me occupied. I also am living with parents to help if anything happens. While my parents usually are taking care of our dog, I take care of him while they are away for as long as 2 weeks before. I play with him everyday and take him out on walks.

About: I have always had dogs, raising them from puppies. I have had old dogs, sick dogs, active dogs, pure breeds, and mixed breeds. They always become part of the family. I work from home and am usually only away for a couple of hours at a time. If I know ahead of time that a specific pet needs more attention, I can schedule accordingly. I have a fenced yard with a doggie door. I keep the doggie door shut unless an owner asks for me to use it. I do not have any children or pets of my own in my home at this time. I live in a quiet neighborhood. A very calm environment.

About: Hi! I'm Sami, and I am THRILLED to meet your loved one. ME AS A SITTER: My number one priority while caring for your loved one is their comfort. I believe having patience and allowing your pet to make the first move is important when first establishing a routine or any sort of bond. Anything you or your loved one needs for our time together, I'm there for it all! I have always had a passion for animals and find it an absolute blessing to spend time with any and all. WHAT I CAN DO: I am comfortable with pets of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. This includes pets that need medication, special dietary restrictions, or even pets that don't like to be too close but just need a little company- I'm just happy to meet your pet no matter what they need! MY PET BACKGROUND: I have experience housesitting with dogs/cats for up to a week. In this time, I maintained the house, watered plants, fed both cats and dogs, took care of trash and mail, etc. My family has had up to 8 dogs at once, ranging from puppy to senior. Now, we currently have 3 dogs and even a pet rabbit. I found a passion for training pets/encouraging good behavior, which led me to teach my pup tricks like roll over, bang bang, dance, etc., and we both loved every minute! We also took in a stray feral cat (was stuck in a car hood, long story), and for the past few months I have successfully worked hard to make a connection and bond with her! I do also help care for the cat in my home in Indiana. I have given pets medication many times, including wound care, vet visits, and special feeding instructions. I currently work part-time at a restaurant, with my shift typically starting at 3pm. My schedule does tend to shift around, but on days I do work, I am flexible with when I can watch your loved one and am willing to visit as much as possible before and after work. However, when I'm not working, I am more than happy to spend as much time with your pet as possible/wanted. While in your home, I will be around your pet 24/7, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I love playing with pets but can also enforce rules and regulations set up for your pet with ease. I can handle crating, leashing, feeding, picking up messes, and more. If housesitting, I am happy to assist in pickup and general house upkeep, including trash night, collecting mail, dusting, etc.

About: Hello!! I have had a dog since I was born and learned to feed and walk them at a young age. I take care of my neighbors dog when she has commitments. My daughter and I take him out for a walk end of the night so she doesn’t have to when she gets home. I’ve house sat on weekends so friends can have a weekend vacation. Also have taken a friends’ dog for walks after school before they get home so the pup can go potty. I work full time Monday through Friday but home by 4:45 everyday. I can can care for your pet in my home starting Friday nights to Sundays for your weekend get aways. I also can do a drop in visit and take your pet for walks and play for a bit if you have to work late or convenience. My daughter and I would cuddle, play and love your pet. We play outside and go for walks a lot. With permission we go to the dog park to run off energy or play with friends of mine’s dogs. Jumping on the couch is never an issue. I prefer to them to get comfortable on couch pillows as if it’s his/her home. The less stress/anxiety on your pet the better. Your pet will never wait in the morning to go outside potty as 5:30am is typically sleeping in for me. My daughter loves to do tricks or even try to teach new ones. I work full time during the week. I am available for drop ins and dog walks during the week after 4:15. Starting Friday night by 4:30 I’m available for boarding and house sitting. On this Rover platform it is set to weekends only for boarding but if you have a cat that needs a long stay that is totally fine and would be happy to do that. When I board an animal I try to be home as much as possible or make it a day event for a walk in the trails (with a leash of course), or play with friends of mines pets. When your pet is in my care I like to have all of my errands finished that way we have constant interaction, opportunities to snuggle/play and go for walks. The more time I have with your pet I hope the more comfortable they feel. Your pet already misses their human and wouldn’t want to leave them alone. I can board up to 2 dogs per family at a time but wouldn’t take on any more to avoid possible temperaments or jealousy. When going for walks I have your pup on a leash at all times. I have a family environment home so your family pup will always have attention. I like to send a few pictures and videos each day to let you know he/she is safe and having a good time.
