“Bel showed up before I left. My dogs were so excited to see her! She kept me updated over the weekend with text messages and pictures of them letting me know it was going well. Thanks Bel! I knew they were in good hands with you!”

“Spencer did a great job. We appreciated the photos and communication. And very importantly, he didn’t just house sit our dog. He engaged with Bernadette and spent quality time with her.”

“Madison was awesome. My original dog sitter (aka my brother) bailed on me last minute before a long trip away and she was happy to help last minute. She stayed a couple of nights at my apartment, took great care of it and more importantly, my dogs, and even helped prep my dogs to be picked up by my dad. She was very kind and had excellent communication.”

“Sammie was great with my dogs! They have very high energy at times and like to wreck things but she played with them and hung out with them and they had zero issues while she was here! Will definitely use her again!”

“Ella was very good at giving updates and letting us know how things were going. She sent multiple pictures daily. I would definitely recommend and have her watch our dogs again.”

Prioritizing their safety while having fun! And always treating pets like family!

“Nancy was very thorough with communication (including photos and videos). It was great to know that our dog was comfortable and enjoying her time with Nancy while we were away! Nancy took care with our home and when we returned, everything was as we left it. We would highly recommend Nancy as a house/pet sitter!”

“Amanda provided good communication, asked good questions, and really paid attention to the details regarding our pet’s specific care. Amanda did a good job helping our pet stick to her regular daily routine while we were away. We are grateful!”

About: My first job at 12 was dog walking/sitting but I have been a lifelong animal lover! I grew up with dogs and adopted my cat about 8 years ago. I have cared for both young and elderly dogs/cats as well as those with special needs and medical conditions. I am currently a stay at home mom with my five year old son. My availability is very open especially going into the summer months. Although I may not be able to do overnight stays at this time, I can do later evenings and earlier mornings. I do have a fenced in backyard that I can accommodate your pup with! I also have a dog in my home who is very friendly and would love play if you allow it. If not I will keep them separate. I can take your dog out to a local trail or walk them in your neighborhood. With cats I would be vigilant in keeping them away from open doors unless allowed. I know they love to explore small spaces and I take extra precautions to keep my girl safe! I love getting to know all the unique personalities of different cats, I love a good cuddle as well as some fun playtime. I have a special place in my heart for senior kitties.
About: Hamsters, fish, lizards, dogs, rabbits, and cats ill care for just about anything and also have experience on my own in half of them! I do best if there are supplemental instructions and having a way to still communicate if I ever bump into an issue. I am not sure what my work schedule looks like yet but I can always work around and make sure I’m providing the pet care needed. I have a dog and two rabbits both indoor. I will probably have to bring dogs out on a leash since the yard isn’t gated.
About: I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood and enjoy a peaceful home environment. I work, stay active in my church, and love winding down with a good book or movie. I’m down-to-earth and will treat your dog like family. My daughter, who’s now abroad, used to dog sit and encouraged me to try it myself—knowing how much I love dogs, even though I’m not ready to have one full-time. I often helped her with dog sitting before she left, and truly enjoyed the companionship. It would be a blessing to care for your pet and offer you peace of mind. I’m flexible, reliable, and would have a great time making sure your dog feels safe and loved. I work hybrid, which means your pet will have plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I love taking regular breaks to go on walks, give belly rubs, or just relax with a furry friend nearby. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate feeding routines, bathroom breaks, and any special care your pet may need. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly apartment with plenty of space for your dog to relax comfortably. While I don’t have a backyard, I take regular walks in safe, green areas nearby and always supervise outdoor time. I follow your care instructions closely, including feeding, medications, and routines, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos. Whether in my home or yours, I provide calm, attentive care to help your pet feel secure and loved.
“Mikayla was absolutely amazing with our fur babies! She kept our high energy dog well played with, and was great understanding our grumpy cat. She was active with the pets and sent us great videos and pictures. She communicated with us immediately and left our house better than when she came. We greatly appreciated her and would rebook her in the future.”

My experience consists of: 7 years of dog handling and care of all different breeds/sizes Knowing dogs 101/201 on dog behaviorial courses Pack pro dog training courses on dog language and group management Leerburg training courses Previous employment at 3 dog facilities as a trainer, kennel lead, assistant, and 1 facility as a vet tech. Previous assistant for puppy kindergarten classes The Ultimate Canine Communication Master Class TWC-The Cornerstone Collection Seminars to continue education We live in rural Hudsonville on a dirt road. It's quiet with lots of nature. There's a fenced in yard with ease of access from the slider door. We plan to buy the property from family that we currently live with. There's two acres out back we plan to fence in for the pups who love to run. I do this full time so I'm very flexible and attentive towards every individual pup and allows for balanced play. Each dog that I take in is based off the dogs I will have in house at the time. So the capacity varies but typically stays around 3-6 pups on average. Dogs often learn bad behaviors from one another and make up their own rules during play. I take a different approach to this. I'm careful about which personalities I place together to bring out the best in every dog during play sessions and advocate for the ones who are more of a wallflower. *IMPORTANT IMFORMATION* I only take in puppies that are up to date on their first year of vaccines. This includes: Bordetella Distemper Rabies Negative fecal check (I do accept titer tests for +1 year old pups) 🐕🦺 TRAINING: Some of the behaviors I work on include: resource guarding, jumping, leash pulling, fear related sensory stimuli, hyperactivity, barking, proper dog play/interactions, chasing fast moving objects/high prey drive...etc. I'm more than willing to go over any more information on what I offer if interested. They are supervised throughout the day. If your pup is in my care, I treat them as they are my own. The care I offer is much more than just watching your fur baby. I pay close attention to behavior, eating habits, coat maintenance, anxiety, health etc. I typically feed in crates, so they can eat without being bothered. I let them rest for up to an hour, (especially large breeds) after each meal as a precautionary measure to avoid bloat. I send updates with pictures and videos when watching your pup, so you can see what they have been up to. I have plenty of crates of all sizes, so no need to bring any from home. If they aren't crate trained at night, that's not a problem. I do allow dogs to free roam at night as long as they aren't destructive and I can trust them on their own. I have vet grade cleaner on hand for toys, water dishes and disinfecting. I take health extremely serious, so I have a vast amount of first aid supplies, cones, pharmaciticals and ID on hand. If you have any other concerns or needs I'm more than happy to address those as well.
“Aurora was, in a word, fantastic! We have a close friend who we normally tap to watch over our pups, so we were a little anxious engaging Aurora through Rover. Best decision ever. She responded to our initial inquiry and made herself available for an interview very quickly thereafter. She was fully on board for a second meet up just prior to our date(s) away. We set no expectation regarding updates or photos but Aurora sent both along on at least a daily basis. Aurora's published rate was entirely fair. It turned out to be even more so each day as we became impressed and thrilled with her performance, including her respect for our home, pillar to post. We simply cannot recommend Aurora highly enough. The only problem going forward will be her availability when we need her again.”
