About: I provide an in-home pet care experience for families with dogs, cats, and other pets. I started offering services professionally in 2016, through word-of-mouth, while located in Grand Rapids. On a personal level, our family included both dogs and cats while raising our children, and I grew up in a family with dogs and cats as well. I joined Rover to help me connect with pet families upon moving to a new location. My schedule will revolve around your fur babies while I'm caring for them. I am a former dog and cat owner, and I want your pets to feel comfortable and have fun while you are away. I currently work from home (or anywhere) part-time so have the flexibility to prioritize your pets' care. I provide attentive care in your home, allowing your pets to stay in familiar surroundings. I love walking dogs around the neighborhood or to nearby parks for daily exercise. At home I'll provide snuggles and love between feedings. About: 10 years dog owner and lifetime cat owner. Very patient and caring with animals. Good at following instructions if special care is needed. Not scared of large dogs. I work part time from home so my schedule is pretty flexible when it comes to pet sitting walks or what ever the job requires. I have two large dogs Rottweiler and Pitt Rottweiler mix and three cats. About: I have grown up with animals all of my life. With busy working parents, I was often the one doing most of the animal care. I grew up with 2 large German Shepherds and 2 cats, so I am familiar with handling large breeds and taking care of multiple animals at once. I am a huge animal lover and have always been a natural pet caregiver. The well-being of animals is my top priority. I am currently working full-time; however, I work from home once a week and can be flexible on which day that is. I am also completely available on the weekends. The beautiful Detroit River Walk is right by my apartment, where I would take lovely long walks with pets. Additionally, my favorite pastime is cuddling with furry friends on the couch!

About: I've taken care of many dogs for friends and family members. Trained puppies for family as well as my own. Cared for older dogs who needed extensive care. Provided all types of care such as, walking, feeding, bathing, playing, and sitting. My schedule is very flexible so I have lots of availability. Morning drop offs and pick ups are great but can adjust as needed. Don't hesitate to reach out with questions. I have a spacious yard and only one small dog who gets along well with other dogs. My home does have space for a crate if needed.

My knowledge extends from health, diet, exercise, enrichment activities, light grooming, and training for your dog. My experience consists of: 7 years of dog handling and care of all different breeds/sizes Knowing dogs 101/201 on dog behaviorial courses Pack pro dog training courses on dog language and group management Leerburg training courses Previous employment at 3 dog facilities as a trainer, kennel lead, assistant, and 1 facility as a vet tech. Previous assistant for puppy kindergarten classes The Ultimate Canine Communication Master Class TWC-The Cornerstone Collection Seminars to continue education We live in rural Hudsonville on a dirt road. It's quiet with lots of nature. There's a fenced in yard with ease of access from the slider door. We plan to buy the property from family that we currently live with. There's two acres out back we plan to fence in for the pups who love to run. I do this full time so I'm very flexible and attentive towards every individual pup and allows for balanced play. Each dog that I take in is based off the dogs I will have in house at the time. So the capacity varies but typically stays around 3-6 pups on average. Dogs often learn bad behaviors from one another and make up their own rules during play. I take a different approach to this. I'm careful about which personalities I place together to bring out the best in every dog during play sessions and advocate for the ones who are more of a wallflower. *IMPORTANT IMFORMATION* I only take in puppies that are up to date on their first year of vaccines. This includes: Bordetella Distemper Rabies Negative fecal check (I do accept titer tests for +1 year old pups) 🐕‍🦺 TRAINING: Some of the behaviors I work on include: resource guarding, jumping, leash pulling, fear related sensory stimuli, hyperactivity, barking, proper dog play/interactions, chasing fast moving objects/high prey drive...etc. I'm more than willing to go over any more information on what I offer if interested. They are supervised throughout the day. If your pup is in my care, I treat them as they are my own. The care I offer is much more than just watching your fur baby. I pay close attention to behavior, eating habits, coat maintenance, anxiety, health etc. I typically feed in crates, so they can eat without being bothered. I let them rest for up to an hour, (especially large breeds) after each meal as a precautionary measure to avoid bloat. I send updates with pictures and videos when watching your pup, so you can see what they have been up to. I have plenty of crates of all sizes, so no need to bring any from home. If they aren't crate trained at night, that's not a problem. I do allow dogs to free roam at night as long as they aren't destructive and I can trust them on their own. I have vet grade cleaner on hand for toys, water dishes and disinfecting. I take health extremely serious, so I have a vast amount of first aid supplies, cones, pharmaciticals and ID on hand. If you have any other concerns or needs I'm more than happy to address those as well.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 30 years. From living with them as a child, to having my furbabies for 14 years and caring for family and friends animals while they were away for work or long trips. I have great flexibility between dog sitting and my 1-2 twice a week job being a home assistant (where I also dog /homesit for the owner 3-4 times a year.) I’d love to add your animals to my schedule. I do not have a set schedule so let’s chat about your animals needs. I can do overnight stays and week+ stays at a time. The longer time I get with an animal, the stronger bond we share. I follow client wishes as each home is different. Some animals have food readily accessible while others require special food needs at specific times, some want their animal walked while others allow them to roam the yard. I have some dog training experience as I had my dogs trained, a big protective boy and small nippy gal. 14 years together until, 6 weeks apart, an accident with my girl while I was on a trip out of town and old age took my boy. They were my entire world. I’m a helicopter dog mom and I wont be different with yours. I can’t risk them being unsafe in my care. When they go out, I go out with them every time. I set alarms for medication and have always been successful with administering meds or vitamins when needed. I will love them as they are mine. Animals bring me joy and make living rewarding but best of all, full of love.

About: Ive been around animals my whole life. I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was 8 years old with my family and have had my own cat on my own for a few years now. This includes puppies, kittens, senior dogs and cats, and anything in between. I believe every animal deserves the best care they can get and there is no such thing a a bad animal, only bad owners. Im very high energy but also very patient and do a lot of studying in my free time so I can take care of high energy animals or animals who do nothing! I am also a firm believer on not harshly punishing animals ESPECIALLY hitting them, I’d rather redirect! Im currently wanting to make this a full time gig on top of doing DoorDash in between visits if I’m not staying full time! If I’m staying full time the only time I’d leave the house is to go to the gym, but if that’s not possible in a specific situation that is okay! I can do anything your animals needs at your home. Whether it be going for a walk/run or playing, as Im very athletic. Cleaning litter boxes or picking up poop. Washing dogs or cats. If they want to cuddle or just run around Im good with anything!
