“Kira is wonderful with pets and very reliable. She stayed with my dog while I was on vacation and cared for him as if he were her own. Before we left she came over and asked many good questions to make sure she knew how to best care for him. She is a great communicator and I knew the whole trip that my dog was having a good time from the pictures she sent. I look forward to having Kira dog sit again in the future!”

About: I’ve worked in a dog boarding facility and in the daycare as well as being a dog bather, giving me firsthand experience with different breeds, behaviors, and special needs. I’m confident, attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing safe, loving care for every dog. I have open availability and am happy to accommodate your schedule to care for your pets whenever they need me! Anyway I can be of help is my pleasure. I provide trusted attentive care in clients’ homes, including feeding, walking, playtime, administering medications if needed, and giving lots of love and companionship. I love spoiling pets with affection, playtime, and care tailored to their unique personalities!
“Kate is very conscientious and dependable. I’ve booked her in the past and will hire her any time I need a sitter for my two senior cats. They’re very shy, but she was able to draw them out for pets and attention. They love her!”

“Madison did a good job caring for my senior dogs and house sitting. Her knowledge and care for dogs was evident. Good communication through the whole process. Highly respectful of my home and followed instructions. I would recommend Madison for your dog.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and lots of other animals, like lizards and birds, and I’ve always loved building bonds with them—it’s something that makes me feel really special 😌🐾 I work 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule (3–4 days a week), and I’m hoping to keep busy on my days off. I always ask questions because owners know their pets best. I want to understand the dos and don’ts—some pets are allowed on furniture, others aren’t. I make sure to follow the same rules while caring for them so their environment stays consistent and comfortable with me.
“Amanda is such a kind individual and has had so much patience sitting with our 2 yo GSP. Our dog has separation anxiety, but Amanda manages to provide a calming environment for our dog so she can eventually relax and be at ease. During her stay, she sent us multiple updates with photo’s throughout the day which also helped ease our minds while we were away. It might have been an anxious start to our dogs day, but by the end of the day she was cuddled up on the couch by Amanda ☺️ We will definitely be booking with Amanda again! Highly recommend.”

“Spencer did a great job. We appreciated the photos and communication. And very importantly, he didn’t just house sit our dog. He engaged with Bernadette and spent quality time with her.”

About: I am an animal lover to the core. I have had pets of all kinds through the years. I currently have two dogs and a bearded dragon. I have helped family and friends with occasional care for many years. I work from home and am able to be home with your pet most of the time when it is in our care. I take our dog on daily walks that your dog can join if they are needing to burn some extra energy. Pets will be cared for based on clients needs. If the dog is crate-trained I have a quiet spot for the dog to crate that it will be able to call it's own. Dogs that are not crate trained are welcome to sleep/stay where they feel comfortable. They will have access to all parts of the house. Though I do not have a fence, I have a long lead outside, and live on a quiet street.

About: Hey there! I've been an animal lover since day one. I've always had an animal to take care of and love, whether it was my own or not. I've taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, chickens, and many more. I also love training and playing with high energy breeds, I've had the privilege of training my own dog and he's the goodest boy. I'm excited to meet you and your furry friends! I currently work part time as a barista, so my schedule is mostly mornings. I'd love to take afternoon walks and play dates, as well as in the mornings I have off! I am happy to sit, cuddle, play, and explore with your pets, but I also understand everyone has different rules and expectations. I am happy to crate pets if needed while I'm at work. I want to respect your home while also caring for your animals.
About: I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood and enjoy a peaceful home environment. I work, stay active in my church, and love winding down with a good book or movie. I’m down-to-earth and will treat your dog like family. My daughter, who’s now abroad, used to dog sit and encouraged me to try it myself—knowing how much I love dogs, even though I’m not ready to have one full-time. I often helped her with dog sitting before she left, and truly enjoyed the companionship. It would be a blessing to care for your pet and offer you peace of mind. I’m flexible, reliable, and would have a great time making sure your dog feels safe and loved. I work hybrid, which means your pet will have plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I love taking regular breaks to go on walks, give belly rubs, or just relax with a furry friend nearby. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate feeding routines, bathroom breaks, and any special care your pet may need. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly apartment with plenty of space for your dog to relax comfortably. While I don’t have a backyard, I take regular walks in safe, green areas nearby and always supervise outdoor time. I follow your care instructions closely, including feeding, medications, and routines, and I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos. Whether in my home or yours, I provide calm, attentive care to help your pet feel secure and loved.
About: Since I was a child I have had or taken care of puppies/dogs. I don't just "say" I love dogs.....I truly am a dog lover and they know it so they respond well to me. I am very affectionate and no I do not mind getting my face licked off! I took dog obedience classes and know the correct way to speak when being firm. I am a "furbaby" Grandma and I house and dog sit for my adult children when needed. Not just because I am mom but because they know how truly great I am with dogs and what a dog person I am. I will love and take care of your furbaby too! I have a completely open schedule and do not have any obligations on a daily basis that would inhibit any pet sitting or walking request. I would feed, bathe, give medication, walk, and any other instructions given by each owner for their particular pet(s). My whole visit is 100% for your pet so whatever you request of me is the service you will get.
“Becca was a great dog and house sitter. Otis was happy and tired upon our return- he played well with her dog too! House looked even better than when we left it when we got home! We’ll definitely book again”

“Elizabeth is top-notch. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better sitter. She won over my shy Milo. She was there when she said she’d be there. She sent me photos and/or videos every day. She genuinely loves cats. She is fun to work with. Choose Elizabeth.”

About: I have taken care of a large variety of pets from German shepherds to weiner dogs, Mainecoon to Persian and even chickens! I especially love cuddly animals and dogs who like to hike! I try to love pets as if I’m their fun aunt! My personal cat recently passed at the age of 18, so pet sitting has become even more sentimental. I will walk (wish I could say run, but I’m just not athletically inclined), feed, bathe and snuggle. I have experience with puppies but also love the slow oldies. I was a full time nanny for 4 children under 6; and I now work in the emergency department; so don’t be afraid, I’m hard to overwhelm! I work in the emergency department as a nurse technician. I typically work two 12 hours shifts per week. My schedule rotates every 3 weeks, so I’m available most weekends and many week days. I’m also a part-time student, but all of my classes are virtual at the moment, so I do not require leaving the house. I am experienced with non-other-dog-friendly-dogs, as well as overall anxious pets. I am a very tidy and organized person so if you have a higher maintenance routine I usually don’t mind.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for 6 years and genuinely love animals. I pay close attention to behavior, routines, and comfort levels, and I always provide a calm, loving environment. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or quiet companionship, I make sure every pet feels safe and happy. I currently am available all throughout the week and weekends. I do attend church every Sunday but then will be free after 12:30pm!! I can do certain holidays as well. I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment for pets. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I also have a loving cat that has no problems with sharing her space. I can separate pets if needed and always follow owner instructions closely to ensure comfort and safety.

Macatawa pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had such a wonderful experience with Amanda! She took amazing care of our dog while we were away. Her communication was excellent, and she kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our big girl can be a little sensitive with new people, and Amanda handled her with so much patience, kindness, and understanding. It was clear Amanda genuinely cared about making her feel comfortable and safe, and that meant everything to us. We came home to a happy, relaxed dog and a home that was just as clean and well cared for as we left it, which we truly appreciated, even though we made it clear there was absolutely no expectation. It made returning from our trip so much easier. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and compassionate sitter!

Melissa was wonderful! We have 2 Italian Spinoni and a cat. She made them feel at ease right away. I love getting pictures, videos, and updates and Melissa was very responsive to my request. She also had the dogs outside a good deal, which is what they love. One of my dogs is a challenge because he is somewhat nervous. Melissa gave him the time he needed to come around and warm up to him. I will definitely be hiring Melissa again!
