For years I have been a reliable and trustworthy person among family, friends, and neighbors. I have extensive experience checking in on pets and playing with them throughout the day, dog walking, and overnight pet/house sitting for a variety of cat and dog breeds. We’re not from the area and travel with our dogs often so thought nothing of it when we had a wedding to attend in Holland but one dog decided she didn’t want to be quiet in our accommodations and we were told to figure it out or be evicted from the hotel (understandable). We put the call out to a few dog sitters over Rover and Beth responded quickly with compassion and responsiveness. We were able to drop our dogs with her after a very easy-going meeting to make sure all parties were comfortable and safe. It was easy to see Beth cared and had a great operation. We were able to attend the wedding and reception afterwards with peace of mind. We just scooped up our pups and they’re completely, happily pooped. About: I grew up with a shetland sheepdog and medium haired house cat. As an adult I've walked large and small dogs of different breeds. I have boarded and pet sat at owners house with dogs that needed meds or had special needs. I currently work part-time Monday to Thursday. This leaves me with plenty of time to spend taking care of your dogs, whether walking or playing. I have a fenced yard and no animals of my own. If I need to crate (you have to supply) your dog, then my house has plenty of space.

About: I have a bernidoodle of my own, and I have dog-sat for other family members and neighbors. I am comfortable with all dog breeds and sizes. I am currently a Sophmore at Hope College. I love taking care of pets and would be more then happy to fit them into my routine. My schedule is open after 3pm, and I am open to schedule changes and to taking on multiple dogs. About: I’ve had pets in my house for a majority of my life and have spent that time helping to care for them. I have also been watching others pets for about three years now, including both cats and dogs. Tasks included feeding on a schedule, taking for walks / outside to go potty, cleaning/scooping the litter box, and of course making sure they’re safe and not getting into any trouble while you’re gone. I have hands on experience in watching after and caring for a terminally ill dog for about six months. Those tasks included changing his dressing (he had an open wound that refused to heal), giving medications on a schedule, and giving enrichment that he could enjoy with limited energy. I also have hands on experience with reactive dogs, so please know that I will love your reactive pup just as much. I can do basic training, but my favorite part of the job is showering the animals with love and attention. This is my full time job! I have a few side gigs that I work on remotely and can do from just about anywhere so long as I have WiFi access to communicate with my colleagues! I’m used to many kinds of temperaments, from “you stay in your corner and I’ll stay in mine” to “I need to be as close to you as possible at all times” and will respect your dogs needs. I prefer setting up a time before the sitting starts where I can just get to know the pet(s) and get an idea of their normal schedule. This way they can meet me while everyone is home so they feel most comfortable, and I’m not a complete stranger once I begin sitting or come over to let them out for a potty break.
