I have had my current dog since I was in 5th grade, and had a few other animals before that, and I have 2 cats.

I have been in Holland for many years so I know the area pretty well and know the best places to take dogs on walks. I also have taken care of animals for most of my life and have a lot of experience in that area.

Sammie did great with our dogs. She was very responsive to any texts from us, checking on the dogs. I do wish she would send daily pics and updates. The house was good when we got back, just a few dishes left in the sink. Everything else was great! That has NOT been our experience with other sitters. The dogs were happy and healthy, which is always our main concern with a sitter. We are very happy we found Sammie!! Thank you Sammie!
Sammie is very patient with our excitable pups. She uses the lick mats we have and always sends us pictures. We feel good leaving our pups with her.
Sorry to say it was not a good experience. First, she came for quick meet & greet but was in a hurry. Supposed to come back next day before I left so I could go thru routine, etc. Said she couldn't make it but would be here soon after I left. Then, she locked herself out of house at around 11pm (missed call time)...did not leave VM or txt to advise. Hence, the 3 cats one of whom is 22 yr old senior, had no one overnight as agreed. Did not call me till 9am the next morning to advise. Friend had key to house so got her in. Arrived back home to power off (not her fault) but house stunk...litter boxes had not been scooped, or freshened, and there was 'dry' poo in bathtub. Water bowls were not rinsed & filled w/clean water, one was filthy & almost empty so not addressed for 2 days (if you are a cat person you know how important that is!) Once power came on - every light in the house (kitchen, LR, DR, landing, bedroom, bathroom + fan, and 2 outdoors?? They appear to be fed, but not staying on top of scooping poo from boxes is inexcusable. In addition, she did not share photos or updates daily & lied about time she got locked out. We will not be having her back.
Sammie is great with our two high energy dogs. She is very understanding with last min changes and has been very responsive to requests.

Sammie was great with my dogs! They have very high energy at times and like to wreck things but she played with them and hung out with them and they had zero issues while she was here! Will definitely use her again!

Schedule
I work Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00-9:00 at the latest but I usually get out earlier. I go to school so in August I will be there in the morning or afternoon depending on the day
