About: What sets me apart is that caring for dogs and cats has always been a part of my life—not just a job. I’ve grown up around pets and truly see them as family members, so I understand how important it is that they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with animals. I also have hands-on experience from working at a dog kennel during high school, where I learned the importance of routine, cleanliness, and recognizing different pet personalities and needs. Pet care fits very well into my daily and weekly routine. I’ve had experience working at a doggie daycares and kennels. I mostly work in the afternoon. My schedule can be flexible but for the most part I have work from 5pm-11pm. I enjoy structuring my days around feeding times, walks, play, and companionship so pets receive consistent attention. Ideally, I’m looking to do pet care part-time, which means I can be reliable, present, and attentive when pets need me rather than rushing through visits. I care for pets by closely following the owner’s instructions and routines to ensure consistency and comfort. About: I was a shelter worker for 5 years and helped run a doggie daycare for 3 years! I have animal medicine and training experience as well as lots of time spent with young puppies and seniors that need special care. I have my own wonderful dog, cat, snake and turtle. Ive been sitting for over 10 years and I love spending time with all animals, it makes me happy to give them good days! Im currently working part time so I have a lot of free time to take care of your pups or other animals! Im free all weekdays and Sundays except for 3 hour shifts. Im able to go to work and come straight back to your pet and I am also available for some Saturdays so Im almost always free! I cant bring dogs or cats into my own home as I have a reactive dog and cat that dont get along with their own species but I do have plenty of experience watching dogs in their own home. Im very careful about flight risk dogs being secured and am good with nervous animals!

About: I have pet sit, walked, ran, leash trained, and mentally stimulated dogs of all breeds since a kid. Each dog needs all of these things in different ways and I am here to figure that out to insure your pup and you get the best from me. I used to be under the LLC Dogs On the Run Grand Rapids, but life (two children, moving to Holland etc) put that on hold. I am now so excited to start giving Hollands furry family members what they need! I would love to meet you and work with you and your dog to give them the energy and visit or stay that they need! Every other week we travel to Coopersville for school needs—and your pup is more than welcome to come along and enjoy the ride and have an adventure! While we don’t have a fenced yard and live in a quiet mobile home community, we make up for it with plenty of activity! We’re surrounded by miles of bike paths, nearby parks, on-leash trails, and a large dog park—so your pup will get all the exercise and stimulation they need.

About: I have my own dog at home and I am always asked to take care of my grandparents dog everytime they're away. I love dogs and always want them to be comfortable in my care. I currently work part time at a custodial company and I babysit at night as well. My work schedule is very flexible, it is a four hour shift and I have time in between then to have a pet care job. I always make sure they have water and food when they need to. I love taking my dog on walks and making sure to take him on bathroom breaks when he needs to. I also make sure to give my cat space when I need to but also play with her when she wants to.

About: I've been taking care of dogs for most of my life. Puppies to the end of life care. I also volunteer with Harbor Humane society. Pet care is my real day to day joy. Currently, this is a side job, but I would love to have regulars and make this a full time gig! I have training from Dog Gurus, in dog behavior. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
