I keep tails wagging!
I'm 53 and I have never been without a fur friend. My family lived on 40 acres in my early childhood and we had 4 dogs and two cats-I even had a pet cow who acted like a giant cat. She was my best friend and I’d spend hours in the barn with her. I love caring for and entertaining dogs. I have experience with small dogs along with larger athletic breeds. I had a cockapoo and collie as a child and was responsible for care. When I was 10, my mom surprised me with a gorgeous white cat. We literally grew up together - She stuck with me until I was 31! I currently have two 15 year old cats who still zoom around like kittens. I also network with animal rescuers around the country and have helped in online groups to reunite pets and owners after natural disasters.

Melissa did a great job taking care of both our pups! She was an excellent communicator, kept us updated and made sure both dogs were happy and taken care of. Melissa was amazing with our two dogs starting with her initial meet and greet to her overnight stay. Melissa is a great communicator, kind, polite, friendly and loves animals. She bonded with both of our dogs and treated them like her own which made us feel very comfortable and happy to go away and have fun without worrying about their care. We will definitely be repeat clients.

Melissa “Mel” is a great pet sitter for my dog, Juney. She is great with animals, and stayed at my house overnight on big 10-day trips while Juney was a puppy. She follows instructions well, cares deeply for your pet, and is prompt, sincere and very trustworthy and responsible. My situation is unique, because Melissa traveled very far to my house. I am very grateful. I almost don’t want to say how wonderful she is because if the word gets out…she’ll book up fast! LOL!

I work from home so I am very flexible. I’m available for drop ins or select overnight stays depending on your location. I have two cats at home.
