I’m pretty good at reading their moods—whether they want playtime, cuddles, or just someone to quietly hang out with. I make sure each visit is more than just feeding or walking—I give your pet the attention and care they deserve. I’m the person at the party that hangs out with your dog near the snacks 😄 Open to overnight stays and also walks/check ins, or local hikes if your pet wants a little adventure. About: Hi my name is Samantha (aka Sam/Sammi) and I LOVE animals. I am currently flexible and open to all of your pet needs. While I am new here on Rover, I am not new to pet care and pet sitting. I have pet sat for various friends and people in the community using Nextdoor and Hillsborough Together. I even had a local pet grooming business going in high school. Moreover, I have worked with well-known dog trainers such as, Mike Wombacher and Shay Yuval. Working with these trainers taught me the importance of reading a dog's body language to not only make the dog do what you want obedience-wise, but also so that they can feel safe and understood. In fact, I learned that a dog's body language has a direct correlation to their emotional state. And being aware of your dog's cues will help me ensure that I can prevent them from being stressed or anxious while you are away, foster trust, and identify their needs (hunger, wanting to play, needing to go outside, etc.). I also am proficient teaching dogs the basic training commands including sit, stay, shake, down, come, wait, and heal. Overall, I understand that the most important thing is keeping your fur baby safe and happy. Currently I am very open and flexible for whatever your pet need may be. My schedule is free as of right now and ready for you pet! For dogs that have more energy and require more room to run or socialize, I have a big car and am able to take your pet to the beach, local park, dog park, or on a hike.

Jen continues to go above and beyond for Cloak. She's attentive, thoughtful, and shows so much love to him, and she's been a great communicator and very flexible with us. We've been able to take longer trips away thanks to her, and our normally anxious boy is so calm and normal when we get home now. When our plans have changed last minute, or when we have new needs and requests as our boy ages, Jen has been a joy to work with. Highly recommended!!
Uma was amazing with our 2 cats, Samson and Pippa! They have been solo cats for most of their lives and are still learning how to socialize with each other. Uma was so patient and provided us regular updates to ensure the cats were not too stressed and were getting their regular care when we were away. She is a saint and we are so appreciative of her patience and understanding of our cats’ needs.
Fabulous care of all 3 cats, two of which are special-needs. Daniel kindly sent me videos of them every day so I could see that everyone was doing well and enjoying all the attention they were getting. Cat feeding equipment was immaculate when I returned, meds had been administered correctly, and litter boxes had been well maintained. All in all, can't recommend Daniel highly enough!

Couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! Danni took such great care of my cat, Yuzu, while I was away.
