About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was little. I’ve had my own since he was 11 weeks and growing up we had the family dog. I know how to take care of puppies and the proper ways to take care of them! It comes with a lot of patience! I currently work during the week on 2nd shift so I’m open for early mornings during the week and all day on weekends. As long a they are about to be left alone for 4 hours or so. I live in an apartment that has plenty of open space and also has a dog park located there so they will have plenty of area to run around in!

About: I have experience with all kinds of pets. I grew up with a big dog, so I have experience walking, feeding, and playing with sizable dogs. My childhood dog was well trained, so I’m used to using commands with dogs. I’ve previously pet-sit for small dogs as well over a range of ages. Although I haven’t had a dog of my own for several years, many people in my life have dogs so they’re still a part of my life. I currently have a cat, so I am also very familiar with cat care. I just love all kinds of pets! I currently work from home as a freelance artist, so my schedule is very open and I have plenty of time to care for and play with pets! I have experience with animals of all sizes so I feel confident in my ability to wrangle any pups. I also have experience crating small dogs.

“I highly recommend Cody! He’s incredibly friendly, accommodating and is fantastic at last-minute requests! His reliability and exceptional service gives us peace of mind knowing our girl is in great hands. Most importantly, our pup loves him!”

“Giselle was great! Super friendly and took great care of Sora! Loved the updates and pictures I received from her! I knew Sora was in good hands! I highly recommend her!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the genuine love and hands-on experience I bring to every pet I care for. This isn’t just a side gig for me—pet care is what I do full time, and I treat every animal like they’re part of my own family. I have three pets at home (a dog and two cats) and have also fostered over 10 cats, so I’m no stranger to handling different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I have experience caring for puppies and understand the importance of structure, patience, and positive reinforcement during their early stages. I’m also comfortable with senior pets and can provide gentle care, medication administration, and support with mobility or other age-related needs. Whether it’s creating a fun, enriching day for an active pup or providing calm, consistent care for a shy or elderly cat, I’m attentive to every detail. I believe in building trust—not just with pets, but with their people too. Pet care isn’t just a side hobby for me—it’s what I do full time! That means your pets will get the attention and care they deserve, without me having to juggle a 9–5 or rush through visits. My schedule is fully dedicated to making sure pets are happy, comfortable, and stress-free while their humans are away. Because I do this every day, I’m able to keep a consistent routine, stay flexible for special requests, and provide reliable, personalized care. Whether your pet needs daily meds, a little extra playtime, or just someone to sit nearby while they nap—I’m here for it all, on their schedule. As a pet owner myself, my biggest fear is leaving my pets at home and being afraid they won’t be properly fed and cared for. It’s a bit nerve racking asking a stranger to come into your home to care for your babies. This is actually why I decided to create a profile to do drop ins. Looking to provide the same amount of love and care to your babies as I’d hope for mine when I’m not home.

“Sarah is fantastic to work with and did a great job with Hazel. She is very good at communicating and clearly is a natural with dogs. We are looking forward to working with her in the future.”

About: I have been a dog owner and pet sitter since I was a teenager. I speak dog pretty effectively and always have a lap open for dog cuddles. I am a designer who works from home. I utilize breaks to take dogs out and give my eyes a break from the computer! I also like going on small dog hikes to give the little guys a little extra exercise. I have an apartment with many sun spots for doggie lounging. My little chihuahua mix will keep you furry friend company as they lay in the sun.

About: I've cared for dogs, cats, and other animals, walked and trained my own pets, and even helped with labor - gentle, experienced, and reliable care! Active student starting community college this summer. I run daily, exercise, and have open availability all week. reliable, energetic, and ready to help your pet. I will only be doing pet walking and pop ins I can't sit at my own place because we have other dogs and there are already to many and they aren't as friendly.

“Sam is so great! She is such an animal whisperer and treats my dog Akira with the utmost kindness. She’s understanding and always accommodating. I highly recommend her for anything animal related!”

About: I discovered my love for dogs (relatively) later in life, when my parents adopted a sweet middle-aged mutt when I went to college! Since then, I have adored dogs and in addition to caring for my family dog on school breaks I’ve been petsitting (in my home and others’) for friends and friends of friends over the past few years. I enjoy getting to know the personality of each animal and catering to it, whether that means long walks or long cuddle sessions on the couch. I love all dogs, but due to a bad personal experience with a pit bull, I prefer to work with other breeds. I’m a freelance writer and in between jobs I am at home and available to care for your pet on whatever schedule you prefer. My only recurring conflicts are comedy shows I perform in at night but they rarely go longer than 2 hours. I live in an ADU that is a tiny home so dogs on the smaller side will be more comfortable there. I have room for a crate but sleep in a bunk bed, so if your dog prefers sleeping with a person, a dog I can comfortably lift in and out may be better (I’ve done it before with a Cavapoo). In a client’s home any size of dog is fine, I just want to know the house rules for both me and the dog to follow and if it’s a long sit check out the space beforehand.

About: Offering personalized pet sitting with love and care. Reliable services include feeding, walks, playtime and keeping you worry-free. Your furry friends are in safe and loving hands! I am a graphic designer fully working from home. I love taking morning and afternoon walk in between works so it would be wonderful I can spend the time with your pets. Maintain the pet’s usual schedule for feeding, potty breaks and regular walks. I carefully follow the owner’s guidelines and pay close attention to the pet’s behavior and health.

Emilie is gentle in handling our eldest dog and patient with the extra time he needs to do his business outside. Emilie is also great with engaging our two younger doggies with playtime and their much loved walks around the neighborhood. Ellen L.
“I booked Ellen on a whim the day of a flight before a 10 day trip due to a cancellation from a different sitter. I've never left my dog with anyone he's not familiar with so I was incredibly nervous doing this, but Ellen did a fantastic job taking care of him!! He's huge (a doberman), takes medication, & has lots of weird quirks about him so he isn't the easiest client but him & Ellen got along wonderfully. I'm so relieved to have another person I can trust with him!”

Yebyul O.
“She took a great care of my kitty and left my place very clean. My cat loves her and I recommend her to my friends!”
Highland Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Haley has been walking my little guy (16 year old, Chihuahua Mix) since the end of July. She pays attention to details and asks questions. She is also pretty affectionate with him, which is a plus. If you're wondering if she would give her a chance, absolutely do. Your fur baby will love you for it!

Holly is excellent! I haven't introduced a new walker to my dog for awhile (regular walker went on a long sabbatical), and Lilu took to Holly right away. Holly has a great presence, and is obviously very experienced with dogs. She is conscientious with things like how hot it is outside, and observing the dog's behavior that day; and is also on-time and responsive. Very happy to have Holly as a walker for my pup - highly recommend!
