I was very very nervous at 1st about using this rover app and leaving my baby in the hands of strangers outside of an institution, but Rachel really eased so much of my anxiety. She is very kind and sweet, organized and specific about the needs of your pet. I could tell my little baby Nova had a great time... I really enjoyed the updates and the checking in especially with video so that everything could be confirmed... Nova came home a happy baby. She and her husband took the time to get to know myself and Nova 1st so that they could really make sure Nova was being taken care of with the same love that she gets a home.... I loved that Rachel had a curriculum for Nova throughout the day and not just constant play ALLLL DAY with no structure so that she can improve and stay mentally stimulated and not just worn out.... About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! I have cared for elder dogs who have needed regular, timely medications and close observation as well as wild little puppies and everything in between! My home is kept very clean and neat to prevent my fury guests from getting into anything they should not and between visits I wash all dog bedding, towels, blankets and rugs.

I have a fenced-in dog park in the backyard, within a large fenced in grass yard! I built my house with dogs in mind; I have a dog bath for washing feet on muddy days, and a suite of grooming tools and shampoos. Fine with dogs sleeping in the bed. 🥰 Your pup must be able to get along with my pup Phyllis, but she tends to love every dog she meets! I work from home and my hobbies are at home, so I am at the house most of the day 7 days a week! i am a homebody. I have a fenced in dog park in my back yard, and a huge back yard that is also fenced in! I also have a 4 year old mini goldendoodle who loves other dogs.

I am currently work a hybrid work schedule (some days I work from home, other days I am in the office); I have 5 years experience in a kennel environment and working with working/professional dogs, as well as dogs with behavioral issues; and training/showing/trialing my own companions - I have experience and titles with my dogs in obedience, agility, and nosework in both AKC and UKC and other venues. I focus on force-free training methods, while still making sure to ensure rules and boundaries in my household. As much as I love training, training is not offered as part of your stay. About: I've owned dogs a majority of my life, both large and small breed. I've house trained and crate trained my own dogs so I have some experience with that, as well. I work from home, which allows lots of one on one time with your pet. I'm able to flex my work schedule based on whatever is needed. I have a fenced in yard, which my own pup loves to run in. Lots of toys and playtime with plenty of comfy surfaces to nap on after.

About: I welcomed my dog 4 years back in the family when we had no plan to have a pet but we just had to bring her home. I have trained her all by myself and received many compliments on how well-behaved my pet is. I have taken care of my friend's fur friends multiple times. I work from home, so I have plenty of time to entertain your fur friend! I'm available on weekdays anytime after 10 am and accommodate them over weekends with some heads up. I have a fenced yard, lots of toys, and a Shitzu to give your pet company. I do have pretty much everything but a crate, so if you believe your pet will be more comfortable with that, then please bring it with you.
