About: Raised cats and dogs with my kids. Learned from a friend about how to handle dogs who are reactive on the leash. I enjoy being with your pets in your home so the pets feel comfortable with you being away. I do work a full time job and therefore I am unavailable during the day. I do realize most pets may need a midday check in and that can always be arranged. I am able to work from home as a special request. I am very honest and caring of all pets in your home. I take pictures and write daily story of our adventures. Everyone loves pictures and stories of their pets. I want our experience to be fun for both of us.

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover, having cats growing up and later volunteering with dogs at rescue orgs. My time as a training class assistant for Puppy Manners and New Dog Basics at the San Francisco SPCA gave me valuable skills in positive reinforcement training, socialization, and handling dogs of all temperaments. Beyond dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses, having owned and leased several. I’m comfortable with feeding, turnout, mucking stalls, brushing, and general equine care, making me a well-rounded caregiver for multi-pet households. What sets me apart is my ability to care for pets at all life stages—from energetic puppies learning the ropes to senior pets needing extra patience and comfort. Whether it’s structured walks, reinforcing good manners, or providing a calm and loving presence, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique needs. With a deep understanding of pet behavior across species and a passion for ensuring their happiness and well-being, I go beyond basic care to provide engaging, enriching, and compassionate pet companionship. After our Husky mix’s TPLO surgery in Fall 2024, I’ve decided to make pet care my main focus. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and this shift allows me to dedicate my time and energy to providing top-quality care for pets in my community. With a flexible schedule, I’m available for daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight stays, and customized care based on each pet’s needs. Whether it’s a midday walk, feeding and playtime, or extra TLC for pets recovering from surgery, I tailor my services to fit both routine and special care requirements. My experience with dogs, cats, and even horses means I’m comfortable handling a variety of schedules—from structured training sessions to free-spirited outdoor adventures. No matter the time of day, I ensure pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or my clients’ homes. At my home, we have a fully fenced yard, providing a secure and spacious area for dogs to play and explore. Your pup will also have built-in companionship with our two friendly dogs, ensuring plenty of socialization and fun. For exercise and enrichment, we have scenic trails nearby, perfect for peaceful walks in the woods—giving dogs a chance to sniff, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors. In my clients’ homes, I respect each pet’s unique routine and environment, providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care. Whether it’s reinforcing training, maintaining feeding schedules, or ensuring a calm presence while you're away, I treat every pet like they’re my own. About: I work for a doggie daycare and dog walking company and I walk up to 10 dogs at a time by myself in all kinds of weather. In hot weather, I bring them to shaded parks. I use healthy treats for training and every dog improves, some dramatically. My business partner and I have given sick or injured dogs wagon rides on paved bike trails to get them fresh air and socialization with their friends. At the time of this writing, between the daycare and Rover, I have worked with 80 dogs. I am currently working full time on weekdays, but I’m available on weekends for dog walking, house sitting and drop-in visits. Dog walking is included with house sitting. I am available to pet sit in client’s homes and walk dogs. I am an avid hiker, so I would take them for walks and runs if appropriate. I double check to ensure harnesses are adjusted properly and comfortable. I use a dog walking belt to attach leashes to, keeping my hands free to pick up after them. If another dog passes, I distract my dogs by offering treats for sitting, staying and directing attention at me. I love taking them to play in parks or the yard, and give lots of love, head scratches and belly rubs! I take time to train so they will trust me and come to me when called. I use a happy, excited voice to encourage them to walk, and a calm, gentle voice when giving them a treat so they learn to take it gently from my hand. I even learned commands in Spanish to help a dog who understands that language best. In addition, I have earned online certificates in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University and Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh.
